Me? Oh I’m Kali, Kali Green

Chapter 42 - Three Pieces

In the backyard of the house a long sigh was exhaled, and the man Magnus slowly sheathed his long katana sword.

In his mind he checked off everything he has been mortally working on for the past while he has been here.

Mentality, balance, inner-peace, honor, compassion, self-control, justice, integrity, loyalty, respect along with other useless codes he watched from his warrior shows and movies.

"It is time." Magnus said dramatically.

He is wearing a purple Haori with wooden sandals and a wooden sword sheathed on his side.

*Shiing*

But a light suddenly engulfed him and his clothes from bottom to top.

In place of his previous appearance was white Haori with strange designs that seemed like random scribbles yet has meaning to it, he wore a Japanese like Kasa hat that went low enough to cover his eyes, and he unsheathed his katana in front of him as it turned from wood to the finest strongest metals he could think of turning silver with gold designs.

With that he raised his hands and with the katana he cut down cutting the air, and with that cut the reality was slashed open and turned circular waiting for this might of a man to walk in.

From what he could see on through that portal was a land of stones among various other minerals making a kingdom of stone and many statues around this mighty looking kingdom.

If a normal person sees this they would think of the ancient times as there are stone houses, temples, colosseum, and an important looking building standing high among all the others.

They would definitely think of the greek legends, Olympus.

Magnus rested his left hand on his sword and his right hand inside his Haori as he casually strolled in, as he fully walks in the portal closed up and the backyard became quiet and lonely from his daily shouts in training.

He was now gone and wherever he went he caused bloody chaos everywhere, just to feel what it is like to be a lone warrior he turned down every level of categories in hisself other than speed.

This man was to awaken one of the long time quiet pantheons and test his mettle with these mythologies.

*********

At a particular area in New York in Greenwich, a building that resides there where it sometimes feel strange yet normal at the same time.

In front of this building is parked a black hummer with a tall man.

Though the building looked strangely normal, Kali knew this building to be an important thing for other purposes, and knew it as one of three sanctums around the world.

Kali walked in front of the building and stood there, he looked around before knocking.

*knock* x3

He waited for a minute and some before the door opened by a bald man with yellow robes and stood there staring at kali.

At that Kali stared back, resulting in the two having a staring contest, with blinks here and there, but having enough the man spoke.

"Can I help you?"

"Uuh, yes I heard this is the place to learn how to do magic tricks?" Kali said with a serious expression.

The man stared at him for a second as if he was an idiot before slamming the door shut.

*knock* x3

"Who are you? What do you want?" The man asked opening the door again.

"I'm here to see the Ancient one, I was hoping I could get a membership card from her to start learning some magic." Kali said with a smile.

Te fact that Kali knew about the Ancient One and that she is a she didn't escape the sorcerer.

*bang*

But in the end closed the door anyways, the sorcerer closed the door and turned around proceeding to walk away only to pause seeing the Ancient One.

"Ancient One." The sorcerer said surprised.

"Go on, I will handle this." The Ancient One said as she walked to the door.

On the other side of the door Kali broke down and started begging.

"Aww come on mann, I don't wanna have to go to Tibet directly!! It's too far!!" Kali complained as he leaned forward on the door.

"I know if the Ancient One was here she would be a better host than you!! I heard she serves tea to the guests!!" Kali yelled.

He looked crazy from the outside, another thing was that he couldn't sense anyone from the inside and he haven't realized it.

*creak*

The door suddenly opened and in place of the sorcerer was the Ancient One herself, Kali stumbled back a bit clearing his throat.

"Ancient One, please ignore my idiotic act just now." Kali said slightly bowing his head.

"That is quite alright Mr.Green, would you like to come in for some tea?" Ancient One asked.

"Oh, yes, I would be honored." Kali walked in as the Ancient One closes the door.

And only now did Kali sensed the life energies inside, only two which was the sorcerers and the Ancient One.

He looked at the walls in wonder, was it magic that blocked his senses? Kali thought.

"Please, have a seat." Ancient One said as she was already sitting on the living room, Kali sat as the previous sorcerer came and put down a tray of tea.

"To what do I owe the p.l.e.a.s.u.r.e of this meeting?" Ancient One asked.

"Well, I would love to learn some magic." Kali said.

"Do you?"

"And why do you wish to learn?" Ancient One asked.

"It is a requirement for my plans to move forward." Kali said being truthful but not revealing too much.

"Is it? And if you aren't able to learn?"

"Then I will need to find other ways to move forward." Kali said.

"Can I ask a question?" Kali asked.

"Why of course."

"You have the time stone correct?" Kali asked.

"That I do."

"And you have used it?"

"That I have."

"...and you have seen me coming?" Kali asked.

It was a split second of silent and the Ancient One smiled looking at Kali.

"You are a mystery, and I am curious... who are you? I have seen you through the time stone yet I don't." The Ancient One said.

"Excuse me?"

"If I were to watch you through the time stone I can't seem to see anything, not of you." Ancient One said.

"Bu- but you just said you saw me coming..." Kali said.

"I did, I could see you through someone else's eyes but I can't see from your point of view.

I saw you coming from the eyes of myself and the master of this house.

But if I were to use the stone and watch you more specifically... there is nothing." The Ancient One said.

'Well that is probably because the old fart never registered me to be an official resident of this univers- !!' Kali thought.

But he suddenly thought of something, doesn't that mean higher form of beings will target him knowing how different he is? And how much he is stirring to the timeline?

'Shitt, I'm gonna need to have a sit down with that old fart' Kali thought.

He came back to reality when he was offered tea by the Ancient One before pouring herself some.

"Well I don't know... maybe I'm special." Kali said hoping the topic would be passed.

"Perhaps, so tell me, where have you heard about us? About me?" Ancient One asked with a smile.

"Ummm..."

"If learning magic is part of this...plan of yours then you must have known about magic for a while." Ancient One said.

"I think I read something in a book somewhere hahaha." Kali lied, pathetically.

"I see, and what is it that you wish to learn specifically?" Ancient One asked.

"Well I'm not gonna lie I heard about sorcerers being able to make refills of booze out of nothing and I am interested." Kali said.

"*cough* of course I think other... important ones are useful as well." Kali said.

"Well I have no doubt of your talent and your intelligence, rather I believe you have much to accomplish." Ancient One said.

"I do?"

"Yes, you already have large amounts of energy yourself, and to top it off you have full control of it." Ancient One said referring to his KI.

"How did you know? Oh right."

"KI is it? Very similar to Kun'Lun's Chi, life energy with many capabilities." Ancient One said.

"You know about it?" Kali asked surprised.

"Why of course, there are many energies in existence across this universe alone, more unknown then known, yet there are those realms and dimensions with their own energies.

Energy is a big requirement for magic, and manipulating these energies is magic.

You already have your own energy which is already a cheat if i may say so, a sorcerer is to call upon the energies of other dimensions itself to form their d.e.s.i.r.ed actions. Magic, is is the manipulation of foreign energies through spells and incantations." Ancient One explained.

"But you, you could already use your own energy, think of it like this:

A sorcerer is like a flashlight that could only work using solar panels, the sun is like a dimension of it's own energy and the flashlight uses the solar panels (spells and incantations) to light up.

And you, are also a flashlight but with it's own recharging infinite battery." The Ancient One said.

Kali felt a bit down because the Ancient One had to dumb it down explaining how magic works, Kali was smart and could pick up on things quick, maybe not as quick as Zhang but his mind works wonders.

"Hmm, I kinda had that theory in mind... not the dimensions and such but the energy manipulation being magic." Kali said.

"Anyways uuh... so we'll you teach me?" Kali asked.

The Ancient One got up and headed for the hallway, but not before telling Kali to follow.

"I'm interested in teaching you, that way I would learn more of your...KI.

In fact I believe we have a few books of KI energy, masters throughout history have researched many kinds of energies and such.

There are many categories for these, one of them is the common type where sorcerers are used to, which is the [Dimensional Energy].

You have what is called [Natural Energy], this type is everywhere yet not a lot are able to tap into it and use them, if they did they would have energy around at all times hence easy manipulation." The Ancient One said.

"Cool, are there other types of energy types other than those two?" Kali asked.

Kali thought about other sources of energies such as the infinity stones, bio-like energy, or life force energy.

"Many, now come along." Ancient One said as Kali's big figure followed behind her.

**********

In a pocketed universe where the home of gods reside, there was chaos.

In Olympus the gods of this land was getting ire and is threatening to unleash their wraths if the situation isn't taken care of.

A few hours ago a sudden shockwave passed through every building and soul in these lands and islands alarming all.

In the lowest of the land far away from the floating islands and big mountain where the major greek gods gather as the [Council Elite], where the mythical greek gods such as Zeus, Hera, Poseidon, Hades and others sit down to talk "civil."

The aura Magnus sent out land wide was a bit tempting, it was like the energy was arousing their deepest fighting spirit and is hungry for a battle, which was already a trait for these battle gods.

Of course it was only effective to the minor and major gods who could put up a fight against Magnus, the hundreds of endless soldier that kept getting thrashed by Magnus couldn't feel it.

Now the land was in chaos, the wind was going haywire turning into small tornados, the land was shaking, the sea was sending heavy waves crashing the already trembling earth, the skies darkened as the dark clouds throwing lightning down on land.

The civilians of Olympus has gone inside their homes in hiding waiting for the rage of their gods to calm down.

On the lowest part of the Olympus soldiers were diminishing at a rapid pace and fear started to crept up on the fully armored greek soldiers.

And in the middle of this chaos was a titan of an old man, white Haori, wooden sandals and a hat covering his nose up.

All the soldiers could see was the thick white hair like a lions mane on the head and his chin donning a thick white long beard that went to his c.h.e.s.t braided by one of his granddaughters at home.

This man came out of nowhere and just appealed on their land, if he were to come any other way then it would have been foreseen.

The thing with Magnus was that there is a kid inside him that wanted to just scream out "Bring it on!!" out at his opponents but his training stopped that giving him self control and to be focused rather than going berserk.

The path he was walking on was already littered with either corpses or scarlet blood, literally.

The only thing not blooded was his footsteps, somehow.

But then...

*BOOOOMMMM*

In the middle of the swarming soldiers a man dropped from the skies and the soldiers backed away from both Magnus and the new arrival.

The new arrival was a man wearing all black roman like amor, an image of a white skull in the c.h.e.s.t armor and a galea helmet.

This man was 6'1 with brown eyes with reddish-brown hair peeking out of the helmet.

With a manic and arrogant smile as he tilted his head upwards looking at Magnus and spoke.

"You stand before I, Ares, The god of war, master of all weaponry!! Who are you intruder?" Ares asked.

Though he was a foot shorter than the tall Magnus he was still arrogant, his insides are screaming out to fight the intruder but he was speaking savoring the feeling of temptation.

"Magnus."

That was all that came out of Magnus' mouth before he disappeared and appeared before Ares immediately.

Ares grunted in surprise as he raised his hand and an axe appeared out of nowhere blocking Magnus' attack.

Ares was surprised at the speed of this titan of a man and was worried at first but when he blocked the hit he noticed the strength of Magnus was lower than his, and so he smiled widely pushing the sword forward in hopes of throwing Magnus backwards but he disappeared.

Again with greater speed he appeared besides Ares' left and swiped his sword at his stomach only to miss as Ares this time alert backed off.

"Tsk, you're a pathetic mortal." Ares said noticing his apparel.

In Olympus he hasn't seen anything of this type of dressing before, maybe in another pantheon group but guaranteed a mortal.

"But you are a strong mortal, HAHAHA I'LL SHOW YOU WHAT THE GOD OF WAR IS CAPABLE OF!! RAAAGHHH!!"

Ares roared as he sped up and jumped with the double headed axe in tow ready to strike down at this Magnus.

*Swish* *Swish* *Swish*

"..."

That was all that sounded before complete silence, it was a stupid tactic to be honest, knowing how fast Magnus was it wasn't a smart idea to jump up where you are vulnerable in the air.

When the three swings slashed out, three body parts fell cleanly cut.

The head, the torso, and the h.i.p.s down on Ares.

A god from legends fell, just like that.

With thousands of years of living and battling no one would expect the death of someone like that, not when they were screaming out with fighting spirit.

The whole divines in this realm felt the disappearance of a mid level god, easily at that.

The sea paused, the wind silenced and the land paused.

Everything felt peaceful but in the heads of many they knew a big battle would arrive.

*******

"How do you not want to save yourself when you know how you die?" Kali asked staring at the Ancient One.

"It's my destiny, and when that time comes... another protector of reality would take up the mantle." Ancient One said.

She was now a bit careless speaking to Kali as for some reason it felt like she didn't care what she says to Kali.

"Stephen Strange you mean?" Kali asked.

"Yes." Ancient One said not in the least bit surprised that Kali knew about it.

A moment ago they spoke and she made it perfectly clear that she knew about him knowing the future.

Kali knew of the future and she knew of the future as well, although only until her death date.

Though she knew she still doesn't know how he knows, Kali just rid it off as everyone has secrets.

"Who knows, maybe I'll be saving you." Kali said.

"I appreciate the gesture but I prefer myself being left to fate." Ancient One said.

"Hmm." Kali hummed.

It was strange talking to this woman, people like these can't be read and certainly unpredictable.

Kai knew she was far stronger than him, if she wanted him dead then she could have done it a millions ways from the moment he knocked on the door at the New York sanctum.

Now they were at Kamar-Taj going through the place as Ancient One explained to Kali what he needs to know.

"So... should I call you teacher now?" Kali asked.

"If that is what you want." Ancient One said.

But she didn't continue speaking and just stood there in silence, Kali was about to ask if she was okay when the his phone rang.

"Hello?" Kai answered.

>Old man!! It's Charles uuh, um something happened...< Charles said on the other side of the phone.

"What? Is everything alright?" Kali asked.

He had a bad feeling as Charles sounded a bit panicky.

>Uuuh, well the thing is... Keon...Keon is arrested.< Charles said.

"What?! Why?! What happened?!"

>Nothing.<

"Then why was he arrested if he didn't do anything boy?!"

>I- I- I don't know either, we tried asking but- I'm following behind the cop car and going to the police department.

We didn't do anything, I was just teaching Keon how to drive when we were pulled over, the officers didn't say why we were stopped, they asked for...<

Hearing this Kali froze on the spot, Charles doesn't seem to know why Keon was cuffed but Kali had an idea, and he doesn't like what he hears.

"I'll be there." Kali said.

Charles was still speaking on the other side of the phone when Kali spoke and hung up before turning to the Ancient One.

"Sorry, teacher, I have to go, something came up." Kali said.

"Go on, we will meet again." Ancient One said.

Kali nodded his head and turned around heading for the portal to the New York sanctum.

As he passed some of the apprentice training a transparent like heat hovered around his body as Kali walked with an unclear expression.
