Chapter 31 – Put Teacher On The Table.

“Other children eat cakes and blow candles on their birthdays,” Lang Jing Feng said leisurely, “My family’s little elder brother must have them as well.”

Bai Ruan was so speechless by Lang Jing Feng’s soft and magnetic “little elder brother” that there was a slight pain in his chest and he almost heard the crunch of his heart being bent.

It wasn’t until Lang Jing Feng handed 26 dandelion candles to him that Bai Ruan recovered his ability to speak.

Bai Ruan gripped the handful of green stalks still warm from Lang Jing Feng’s body temperature, and temporarily abandoned the relationship between teachers and students. With a pair of pupils as clear as pebbles that were immersed in a mountain stream, he sincerely thanked Lang Jing Feng with the same tone he used to converse with his peers, “This is the first time someone celebrated my birthday like this. Thank you… Were your hands deeply cut?”

Lang Jing Feng grinned. “No, it isn’t deep. If you really want to thank me, can you make a birthday wish related to me?”

Bai Ruan nodded heavily. “Okay!”

“You have to make the wish here today, and it has to be related to me and you,” Lang Jing Feng blocked all the loopholes that Bai Ruan might exploit and continued with a smile, “I have given the three elements of time, place, and character. Don’t shamelessly prank me.”

Bai Ruan still promised, “Yes, I won’t.”

“Do you want a model essay?” Lang Jing Feng’s Chinese teacher imitation was very entertaining. “I’ll recite a few excellent model essays for you orally, for example, ‘Hope to grow old together with Lang Jing Feng’, hope…”

“I don’t want a model essay.” Bai Ruan’s ears were red, and he hurriedly interrupted, carefully placing the dandelion bouquet in his hand beside the vegetable cake.

“Are you angry?” Lang Jing Feng thought he had succeeded in flirting, but he saw Bai Ruan handing over a mobile phone with bright eyes.

“That…” Bai Ruan was a little embarrassed, “Help me take a picture.”

Bai Ruan couldn’t bear for the cake and candles that were prepared so carefully to be eaten and used without even taking a picture.

Lang Jing Feng took two photos with his mobile phone and suddenly said, “Teacher Bai, how about taking a picture in your original form? Take a picture that is the same as your three-year-old one.”

It was really meaningful to take a picture like this, and he could send it to Yun Qing to see. Bai Ruan thought for a moment, stepped back a little, and in the blink of an eye, he was gone and his clothes piled up all over the floor.

A little white dumpling came out of the collar of the shirt and jumped to Lang Jing Feng’s feet. He stood on his hind feet and raised two fluffy rabbit paws towards Lang Jing Feng and said in a majestic voice, “Ji.”

Put Teacher on the table.

“…Fuck. When you’re like this, I just want to bully you.” Lang Jing Feng bit his lip and smiled. He squatted down and carefully poked Bai Ruan’s belly with his index finger. His belly was like a water bag, warm and fragile. Lang Jing Feng was afraid of hurting Bai Ruan and with the lightest force, he touched it and quickly withdrew his hand.

“Ji,” Bai Ruan covered his belly with two front paws and his eyes were stern, “Ji.”

Bai Ruan jumped into Lang Jing Feng’s palm, and stepped on his hand with the four toe beans1 on the rabbit’s paws. Lang Jing Feng had an indescribable itch in his heart, wishing to rub Bai Ruan with his hand. After caressing, stroke his back, scratch his ears and touch his tail, then put his nose against the little white dumpling and breathe in a few big mouthfuls of his scent, and then finally stick his cheeks to the little belly that was as soft as a hot cloud. It would make Bai Ruan shy and yell with four little white legs kicking in the air, but there was no way for him to…

With dangerous thoughts flooding in Lang Jing Feng’s brain, he gently placed Bai Ruan on the table. He took out the lipstick specially stolen from Lang Qian’s dressing table from his trouser pocket with one hand, unscrewed it, and gently tapped on the defensive Bai Ruan’s forehead.

“…Ji-ya!” After a moment of shock, Bai Ruan slid behind the cake with the festive little red dot.

If it was not for the fur blocking, Lang Jing Feng would be able to see that he was blushing right now.

“Restored your three-year-old look.” Lang Jing Feng smiled and put back the lipstick, but his legs were softened by teacher Xiao Bai with a red dot on his forehead. He urged, “Come out and take a picture.”

Bai Ruan came out from behind the cake with a red face and took a picture between the cake and the dandelion. He then ran to the back of the cake, stood up and held the carrot on the edge of the cake with his two front paws, revealing only a bunny head.

“I’ve taken several pictures.” Lang Jing Feng put the phone on the table. Bai Ruan jumped off the table, thumped twice on the pile of clothes to attract Lang Jing Feng’s attention, and then with a few ‘Ji’s’, turned his back to the young man, motioning for him to turn around and not look at him.

“Actually, I’ll have to look at it sooner or later.” Lang Jing Feng said with a smile and obediently turned his back.

“What sooner or later…” Bai Ruan turned back into a human form and quickly put on his clothes. This time there was no fur covering his face. The redness was so clear that the red dots on his forehead were still visible, but it was blocked by his fringe and couldn’t be seen.

“Come, time to make a wish.” Lang Jing Feng once again passed the bouquet of dandelions to Bai Ruan’s hand, and then squeezed Bai Ruan’s shoulders with both hands to make him turn back. He pushed him to the window of the living room, and said in a tone like the main host of Bai Ruan’s family, “Don’t blow into the house. If it flies all over the place, I’ll have to clean it up.”

“…” In the face of violent storms, Bai Ruan was unable to refute one by one, and the curvature on his face increased slowly but firmly.

The two walked into the living room, passing by a long row of rabbit cages by the wall. Lang Jing Feng’s demon energy was cleanly hidden, and the bunny babies with spiritual consciousness didn’t realise that he was a wolf demon. Not only were they not afraid of him, they poked their pink nose out of the gap between the railings and wanted to play with Lang Jing Feng.

“Raising so many rabbits,” Lang Jing Feng was surprised, “Are you taking a little brother?”

“That’s right,” Bai Ruan said, “I want to train more rabbit demons.”

“Okay,” As the second generation of the demon, Lang Jing Feng did not have the same sense of belonging to the original race as Bai Ruan, and jokingly said, “It’s quite ambitious. Secretly cultivating the little white rabbit power at home, are you intending to eliminate human tyranny or turn the wolf back into a rabbit?”

Bai Ruan shook his head quickly. “That’s not it. It just feels that our rabbit race is too few and weak. Unlike you carnivores, you have your own big families. So I want to expand the rabbit family a little bit. If something were to happen, we can take care of one another, and I can still live for a few hundred years…”

Lang Jing Feng chuckled and said, “In the future, you don’t have to worry about those things. This brother will cover you.”

Among the carnivorous demons, the wolves with strict organizational discipline, team spirit, and ability to obey the leadership of the wolf king had a natural advantage in expanding their power. Therefore, the wolf demon families tended to lay a foundation easily in the places of their residence.

The Lang family to which Lang Jing Feng belonged was a large family with hundreds of wolf demons. A large family of wolves were scattered throughout various walks of life, and family insiders had channels for what they wanted to do. Lang Jing Feng’s grandfather was the first wolf of the Lang family’s generation, and Lang Qian was the daughter of the first wolf. Therefore, there were no wolves in the clan who dared to discipline the young and high-ranking Lang Jing Feng. Thus, Lang Jing Feng’s arrogant and unruly young master attitude was brought up this way.

The root of Lang Jing Feng’s previous stubbornness was the lack of goals. A day would simply just pass by whether he was lazy or hard working. Even if he didn’t do anything, he wouldn’t be short of money in the future. In addition to fighting and track and field, these two things that could provide adrenaline, his life had lacked motivation and excitement.

It wasn’t until Bai Ruan appeared that Lang Jing Feng finally had to work hard to catch up with this tangible goal.

When the two walked to the window, Bai Ruan lifted a bunch of dandelions out of the window, puffed up his cheeks, and blew them. The rain of dandelions fell in the air, and a handful of “candles” were blown out. The blue background of the sky seemed to be full of all these fluffy white velvet umbrellas.

“Have you finished making your wish?” Lang Jing Feng asked as he stood behind Bai Ruan.

Bai Ruan nodded and looked at the dandelion floating outside the window. “I’ve made my wish, under your request.”

“What did you wish for?” Lang Jing Feng asked eagerly.

“My wish is for you to be admitted to the university of your choice next year.” Bai Ruan said with a serious attitude, seeing Lang Jing Feng’s handsome face quickly turn gloomy, he immediately added the second half, “…under my wise guidance.”

Lang Jing Feng couldn’t laugh or cry. “Fuck!”

Bai Ruan calmly explained, “I’ve included you and me as well.”

Lang Jing Feng sighed, “Can’t your wish be a bit more romantic?”

“Isn’t a man romantic when he works hard and sweats?” Bai Ruan said as he laughed.

Lang Jing Feng almost said that the sweat on the bed was mostly the same, but he didn’t dare to mess with Bai Ruan. He just said, “Forget it, eat the cake. Shall we go to the theme park after eating? It’s just nice that today is Children’s Day. I’ve already checked the schedule, if you don’t dare to sit in those scary ones, let’s go watch the performance instead.”

“Have you finished your homework?” Bai Ruan asked logically.

Lang Jing Feng stared at him with a look of love and hate. “Celebrating your birthday, can’t you make an exception?”

“No, it’s not right.” Bai Ruan took a deep breath and suppressed the irresponsible impulse in his heart. For the first time today, he reminded himself that Lang Jing Feng was still a student and was forced to disappoint him. “How can a teacher make a student abandon his studies to go to the theme park with them on their birthday? Even if I were to go there, I wouldn’t be happy… Let’s go the next time.”

Lang Jing Feng looked at him helplessly in an indulgent manner, and said, “Then how do I make you happy on your birthday today? Don’t talk about homework, I didn’t bring any.”

After a pause, Lang Jing Feng put on a fierce face and warned, “If you dare to tell me to go home and do my homework, I’ll kiss you to death. This brother is here to celebrate your birthday today, not a delivery man from the cake shop.”

Bai Ruan pondered for a moment. He also felt that it was a bit too much to send Lang Jing Feng home to do his homework. He asked, “If it’s not doing your homework, anything else is fine?”

Lang Jing Feng was restless. “Anything else is fine.”

Bai Ruan smiled crookedly. “It just so happens, I also have something for you.”

The author has something to say:

Lang Jing Crazy: I didn’t even bring homework. I don’t believe Teacher Xiao Bai can make me study.

Bai Ruan Ruan: Naive.
