Meeting Them

Jung Kook's POV

I was surprised when I saw her on the stage. I didn't expect that she would also be a newbie here. From the way she walked away at the garden, she looks like someone who had been here for quite some time. Since we are both new then definitely she had never seen me before. I really want to know why is she avoiding me. I mean there's no way someone who you have never met start avoiding you like crazy. It just doesn't make sense to me. When she's on the stage, I took a picture of her so that I could investigate about her later. After the games, the seniors decided to let us go for lunch and told us to come back o time for the segment in the afternoon. I was once again surrounded by fangirls when I enter the café.

"Girls please let me have time to eat. I didn't have time to eat my breakfast this morning and I'm really famished. After my lunch, I will give you all autographs okay?" I said.

"Omo ok oppa(1). We're sorry to disturb your lunch." One of the girls said.

I was looking for a place to seat after buying my lunch and saw that there's an empty space beside that girl. I walk towards her and asked " Is this seat taken?"

"No. You can seat if you want to." She said without looking up.

As I sat down, I look at her when she eat. She looks so adorable eating like a hamster stuffing food in to her mouth not caring about how others look at her.

"You know it's rude to stare at someone when they eat?" She said.

"Oh sorry. It's just the way you eat is adorable." I said apologetically.

I was startled that she realized I was looking at her. After she said those words, I started eating as well because I don't want her to think of me as someone rude.

"Umm you know we met this morning. At the university garden. Again my name is Jung Kook." I said.

"Oh it's you. I see that you're quite popular here. What are you? Some celebrity?" She said.

"Uh yeah. I'm Jeon Jung Kook from BTS. Can I know you're name?" I said.

"Well I'm Lily." She said.

Finally I've got her name. Lily such a pretty name.

"So Lily. You're not a Korean aren't you?" I ask.

"Yeah. I'm from Malaysia. I came here to further my studies in business." Lily answered.

"Ah I see." I said.

After what I've said, the both of us eat our lunch quietly. After Lily finish eating, she went back to the hall. I still feel that she's still avoiding me. I will try harder to become friends with her. When the sound of bell rang throughout the café, I put my tray into the basin and walked back to the hall.
