Meeting Them

Lilac's POV

I never would have expected that the one sending me back home would be Yoon Gi. I was so shy to the point that I was blushing when he opened the car door for me. Because of the awkward silence in the car,I decided to try to start the conversation.

"Umm Yoon Gi. You don't mind right I call you Yoon Gi?" I asked.

"No I don't mind. More or less no one really calls me Yoon Gi." Yoon Gi answered.

"Umm I actually have something to ask you." I said.

"Just ask." Yoon Gi said.

"Well I wanna know what kind of girl that you like." I asked.

"I have never really thought about it but I want a girl who can understand my job scope and respect elders. For me respecting elders is a very important characteristics that need to be in the girl that I like. For understanding my job scope is that I hope that she can understand that I cannot be by her side all the time and she must be willing to accept this. Other than that the girl that I like must be kind and loving towards animals. This is because I have a dog and I want that girl to accept my dog as her family as well if she thinks of getting together with me. What about you?" Yoon Gi answered.

"Me uhh. Same as you the guy I like must respect elders and that's the biggest turning point for me. Other than that he must be loving towards children because I like children a lot. My mom used to tell me that a guy who is loving towards children then he's a gem. Nowadays it's hard to find guys like that. Before this I used to think of handsome guys as the type of guys that I like but as time passes my perspective changed." I said.

After those words, he went into deep thought. I wonder what was he thinking about. I didn't say anything else after that. Then he said something

"Lilac how have you been doing anyway?" Yoon Gi asked.

"I'm good but life is kind of hard for me. Don't tell the rest of them ok." I said and then I let out a soft sigh.

"Alright. If there's any problem that you encounter, tell me or any of them ok. Don't keep it to

yourself." Yoon Gi said.

Hearing those words from him makes my heart thumps faster. I could feel butterflies in my stomach. He actually cares for me. But then I just replied hmm like nothing but I'm internally screaming on the inside. I was disappointed that we reached my apartment quite fast. I want to spend more time with him so I get out of his car reluctantly. We bade goodbye as I walked into the apartment lobby. I watched from the lobby as Yoon Gi's car left the place. I couldn't believe that after not seeing him for two years makes me feel the same feeling once again. It's just can't be explained by words.

I felt asleep and had a good night sleep that night. There's no more nightmares like usual and I woke up feeling fresh. Before this I would always have the same nightmare that has been haunting me since two years ago. I went to the doctor to get treatment but it doesn't work out. Usually I depended on sleeping pills to fall asleep but yesterday I managed to sleep well. This is a good improvement for me and I'm happy about it. I never would have thought after meeting them again everything in my life just gets better. But who would know what would happen next?
