Meeting Them

When I put a piece of Lilac's handmade sushi in my mouth, I could taste the tanginess of the rice, the crab meat and the eggs with the crispy taste of cuc.u.mber makes people craves for more. It was really delicious. Now I know why Jimin hyung likes to eat delicacies. I think I'm now officially addicted to Lilac's sushi.

"Omg Lilac. Your sushi is so delicious. Everything is perfect when eaten together. I've never tasted sushi like this before." I said.

"I'm glad that you like it. It's just a simple dish and you said that it's nice. I'm really glad that I could hear people complimenting my cooking." Lilac said.

"This is even better than my pancakes." I said.

"No. Every cooking has its own specialties. So don't compare your cooking with mine. Everyone's way of cooking is also different. So no one could say that they are better than the others. The taste of the food you make also depends on your willingness to make the food. If the food is made with hard work and affection naturally it will taste nicer. That's what I've learned from eating a lot of delicacies all these years." Lilac explained.

"I totally agree with what you say." Jung Kook said.

"I just want to ask you this. But it might sound quite wrong to you." Lilac said.

"What is it? Just ask." I said.

"In your opinion, the way to a man's heart is it through the stomach or three inches under the belly?" Lilac asked.

"For me it's through the stomach. Because I once read this article that says that this guy cannot remember what his wife cook for him for the past two years but he knows that the food that she had cooked for him provided him with nutrients and energy to start his day. So I believe that the way through a man's heart is through the stomach. Another reason is that beauty doesn't last forever. One day you would grow old and your face is all wrinkled, at that time you would want to spend time with people that you love." I said.

"Wow such a deep explanation. I never thought that you would have such m.a.t.u.r.e thinking despise your age." Lilac said.

"It's all thanks to Nam Joon hyung actually. He told me to read a lot to improve my knowledge. When I first came here, I was easily made fun of and being teased by other kids because of my dialect and my lacking of knowledge. When I told Nam Joon hyung about it, he told me not to be bothered by those people because they are just jealous of what you have and just be who you are. I hold onto his words until now that make me so successful." I said.

"Oh I see. No wonder you're so wise." Lilac said.

"Oh it's almost times up for break. Let's go." I said.

"You're right. I don't wanna be late for my next lecture because the professor would kill me if I'm late for her class again. Sometimes I felt like her mood swings are worst than most of the girls." Lilac said.

"Haha… That professor must be fighting with her husband. Because she couldn't released the anger on her husband. You guys became her target." I said.

"Maybe. Who knows what's wrong with her." Lilac said.

After walking to Lilac to her lecture hall, I walked towards mine and none of the fangirls dare to come near me although I did realize their infatuated look every single time they see me. They know better than to invade my privacy.
