Meeting Them

Suga's POV

"Tae Hyung-ah where Lilac?" I asked.

"She just left." Tae Hyung said.

"Why didn't you tell me earlier? I wanted to send her home." I said.

"Maybe you could still catch her. She just left a few minutes ago." Tae Hyung said.

"Tell the rest. I will head out first." I said.

"Ok." Tae Hyung said.

I left the house hurriedly almost forgetting to put on my mask. Luckily my car is tinted so people wont be able to see me. I drove along the way I usually use and see that Lilac was still walking to the bus stop. I drove towards her direction and honk her so that she would realize me. I lower down the window to call her.

"Lilac quick come in." I said.

"Umm it's ok. I'll walk to the bus on my own." Lilac said.

"Never mind. Let me send you home. Moreover I don't have anything to do in the afternoon." I said.

"Ok." Lilac said and walk to the other side to get in the car.

After she settled down in the car, I wanted to ask her why she didn't want to tell me before she left but I don't dare to because I'm worried that she thinks that I'm too busybody. I decided to turn on the radio so that it wouldn't be so awkward between the two of us since we have nothing to talk about.

"Yoon Gi if there's anything you want to ask you can ask me you know." Lilac said.

"Well I wanna ask you. Umm….. Why didn't you tell me before you left?" I asked.

"It's well. I don't know how to say this. It's just me being overly s.e.n.s.i.t.i.v.e because no one have ever celebrated my birthday like how you guys did for Tae Hyung. Every year during my birthday, I expected a lot of things but none of those ever came true. My birthday every year felt like a normal day. Never once I felt special on that day whereas everyone else is so happy during their birthday. I'm tired of faking around on my birthday. I always have to remind other people when my birthday is because no one have the heart to remember about it. This is also one of the reasons why I despise that day. Even my own parents never remembered my birthday. Their own daughter and yet they organized a birthday party for my sister if my sister asked. Every time I ask whether can I have it as well, they always said that only one of us can have it so they said I need to tolerate my sister since I'm the older one. Do you know how hard had it been on me whenever they said those words to me. It felt like everything I need to tolerate my sister in. When had it been my turn? I have always asked myself that question. Have they ever bothered to ask me about my feelings. Am I not human too?" Lilac replied and I could hear her voice cracking.

When I turn to look at her, she is already on the verge of crying. I drove to one hidden corner and stop my car there.

"Lilac don't cry. I'm sorry for asking you this. If I know it would make you upset, I wouldn't have asked." I said.

"It's not your fault Yoon Gi. This always happens to me. I'm just being too s.e.n.s.i.t.i.v.e." Lilac said.

"Lilac please stop crying because my heart hurt seeing you cry like this. Come on give me a smile." I said.

"I…." Lilac said.

"It's ok. You don't need to say anything. I understand." I said.
