A Friend Can Be a Murderer?

Tian was vaguely surprised. If someone was ready to betray Lui, then the matter was more delicate. It didn't matter if it's his close friend or a friend by name. 

What was of utmost priority is silencing the teen. The means was not up for scrutiny or questioning.

"Tell him whatever he needs, will be provided; he should make sure to carry out the task efficiently," he ordered his assistant as he drove off to his house. 

Lui called Ni Chen. He thought to apply to be discharged from the hospital. The more he stayed here, the harder it would be to conform to the ongoing situation.

He was feeling better. There were many things which he should be attending to like his project, which hasn't been contracted yet. The delay could be detrimental if the culprits were able to retract all evidence of their activities from the abandoned district during his continued stay at the hospital.

The custom-designed security Robo Toto had returned from the factory so he could tell the administration that this Robo was efficient in looking after him and also provided the best form of security thus far. 

He was sure that he didn't need to worry any further about his security, Lui thought to himself. When he had already caught the right culprits, he will keep himself alert about them. 

Moreover, he has his friends who were always there to help and protect him. 

As regards the investigation, if the officer happened to be honest, then he would be able to catch the culprits. 

Hyal's matter was s.e.n.s.i.t.i.v.e, so he would make sure that the girl wasn't poorly treated anymore. 

He sent a reminder to the administration that he was going to apply to be discharged from the hospital and, the administration approved. They informed personal security to send the student to his c.o.n.d.o.minium securely, and they also hired Toto as Lui's personal security.

The administration had no worries regarding the expenses because they knew as soon as the student contracts his project, the money flow will be directed towards the accounts of the Academy. This particular student always shared his project profits with the Academy.

A student received an unknown call, he was among the fifteen who were reincarnated in this strange world. Others have their ways. At the same time, this one was a little unpredictable even though he was friends with Lui. 

He has always wished to kill Lui because he wanted to take his place in the group. Lui was given priority. He was the centre of attention, and others never went against his orders. This was a bitter pill for him to swallow. 

But Lui trusted Renren more than the others.

"Ni Chen, why did you come alone, where is Renren?" Lui questioned, he was displeased that Ni Chen was getting irresponsible. 

He knew very well that Renren was a genius and he would accord more appropriate suggestions on the present situation. He also wanted his opinion on miss Hyal. 

He was torn between sending her back or letting her live and study in the Academy. He shared the information regarding how he had found Hyal in the hidden lab with the Renren. 

"Renren told me that he had a headache and might not come, that he needed to rest," Ni Chen said. 

"You should have asked if he needed anything?" Lui replied, his voice filled with concern. 

"Come on, Lui. You are worried for him? He is a boy, not a girl who could faint with just a headache. Did you ask me how I was yesterday, during the practical test? I tripped and smashed myself against the big machine. My shoulder still aches," Ni Chen pouted wanting Lui to be concerned about his other friends too. 

"You've been learning to pout lately. What's her name again?" Lui chided scratching his head, as though he was trying hard to remember. 

"Alright, she is not always the one influencing me. Seriously!" Ni Chen was bashful after Lui had brought up this topic. 

"I know she is genius as well, so I don't mind if she influences my friend," Lui chuckled. 

"So you have decided to return home?" Ni Chen asked. 

He was not sure why Lui was insisting on leaving the hospital earlier than expected when he had clearly not fully recovered. In his opinion, he would prefer for Lui to stay in the hospital for a few more days and rest.

"Indeed! These white walls and ceiling turn into monsters of the forest at night. I feel being surrounded by them alone…" he said, mocking his situation while Ni Chen was serious, "Really? Then you don't have to worry, henceforth, I will stay here all night…" he replied out of concern. 

"No need! No need man, I just want to leave…" Lui helplessly yelled out. 

He couldn't believe that Ni Chen didn't grasp the meaning of his joke. 

"It was a joke? Hah! What a dry one," Ni Chen sniggered at Lui with a hand wave. 

He could not believe that Lui would spell a joke when he clearly not in good mood. 

"I don't have good jokes until my worries are over," Ni Chen picked some of the medicines recommended by the medics as they walked out of the room. 

On the other side, Renren was ready to accept the offer to kill Lui. He had it well thought out. They were no more living in the Sect, and Lui was no longer the acclaimed son of the Sect Master. 

This was an advantage. 

Moreover, he had several secrets Lui had shared with him away from the others. He would spill them to the others to defame him amongst their other friends after Lui's death. 

This will make them forget Lui, and he can later assume the leadership role within their group. It was a foolproof plan, Renren thought to himself. 

Since Ni Chen had asked him to come that means he went to the hospital, he stood up to follow him behind. 

When he gets the chance, he will act accordingly to his plan.

"Ask him to contact me. I don't want him to kill Lui stupidly," Tian yelled at his assistant. 

On getting home, Tian thought about the various aspects, and how everyone would suspect him as the murderer if Lui died suddenly. The most crucial thoughts stormed his mind. If both friends quarrel openly and kill each other, then it would be more feasible, and people will only take it as two friends disagreeing on some matter and ended up hurting each other.
