Search The City

The owner of the illegal organization ordered strictly to search the girl in the city and don't let anyone know their presence, the government has banned and restricted the movements of this organization in the recent few years. 

If the human guards were spotted and someone complained, they will have to face the strict conditions. 

The officials might dispatch whoever belong to this organization and bothered to the common population in the city. 

So the human resources were ordered to remain hidden and don't abandon the search, they have already searched two near district if she was not there it means she must be hiding in the city. 

Hyal was bought by this organization as soon as they came to know that her blood formation was unique. 

Through experiments, the researchers wanted to prove that genetic coding was possible in certain conditions. 

Hyal was running away from the Lost District when she met Lui, she thought that since he was student in a reputed academy she could safely run away from this hellish place. 

But she came to know that Lui was also looking for someone with the same traits for his project experiment. 

But before she could escape, it was too late, she was thrown in the smoky tank for experiment. 

She tried to run away from the misery and here she fell in the hands of another mad person. 

But what she could do other than regret. 

The days were moving with the usual pace and there was no more threat apparently so Hyal was waiting to get fully healed and then leave the city for good. 

She did not intend to go back in the Lost District but to reach the commercial city and work for her living. 

She has no legal doc.u.ment and cannot get a proper job or admission in any of the institution so it was the only option to live and work on her own. 

A month passed and she was much better now, she was thinking whether to inform Lui before leaving or just disappear but if she left this way, Lui would get worried and probably would search her. 

She did not want him to worry over nothing. 

Today she masked some courage and thought to talk with Lui, it was the longest ever time which she could feel safe here, if she stayed more, the human resources would reach her. 

She pressed the button and waited for the door to open. 

The door opened with a click and the robot assistant was standing in front. 

"Miss Hyal, please come in," Toto invited her with all manners. 

"Thanks Toto," Hyal paid homage as usual though Toto several times stopped her from doing so. 

Lui just took bath and he was running towel in his hair, wearing the casual thick hooded sweater and slim fit woolen pants, after a long summer the winter signs appeared and the evenings were particularly cold. 

Hyal was given dresses from Lei Mei and she never asked branded or expensive dresses, she was wearing pole neck long shirt with the trench coat. 

"Hyal you here? Anything important?" it was usual that she play a mute and rarely interact especially she was discharged from hospital. 

Today she came to meet him after many days so it was normal that Lui was surprised. 

"I have something important to talk," she nodded and sat on the couch. 

"I know winter is here and you have not bought warm clothing," Lui smiled and gestured her to wait, he was going to bring some warm tea for her. 

"No need, the matter is urgent, can you please spare some time and listen to me," she was looking little annoyed, she was spoiled by this Lui, he always show extra care and this bothered her much. 

She was not addicted to this kind of behavior. 

Lui squinted his brows and smiled, "What happened? Did Lei Mei warn you to leave her living quarters?" he chuckled. 

"Lei Mei is wonder girl, I wish I had a sister like her, there is something else I want to talk," she forced out last part of the sentence. 

Lui sat and observed her, "What is it?" 

"I am leaving this city," she pressed her right hand in the left fist and spoke. 

"Do you wanted to go back?" Lui asked worried. 

"No never, I would not go back, I just wanted to leave this city and live somewhere else," her short hair made her look like a shy man. 

"Where would you go and what is problem living here?" he asked puzzled, there was no apparent reason for her decision.

"You don't understand and I can't explain it to you, just that I have to leave," she spoke determined. 

He asked her once to get enrolled in some institution but she straightaway refused saying that she has no interest in study. 

And now she wanted to leave the city. 

She intentionally did not tell where she wanted to go. 

"Alright, I do respect your decision but before leaving you should buy few things to set up your new house or take some money with you," he spoke out his concern. 

She was severely injured a month ago and when he found she was already near death in the tank, whatever clothes she wore, Lei Mei was sharing her clothing, Lei Mei has not much pocket money to buy extra pairs of dresses. 

Lui was little busy with the academy's given surveys and he could not meet Hyal and force her to buy some pair of dresses. 

"Sure, I would not mind buying few dresses, as for the money I do need it for a month or two until I got a job," she lowered her head. 

"There is no need to lower your head and feel upset since we are friends already, right?" he spoke up, he was unable to understand her. 

She was completely different from the girls he met in the academy, for a moment she was determined and then again she happened to be worried something unseen.
