'Seriously?'

Eric Wu sighed as he removed the blanket that was covering his body. He woke up and sat at the edge of the bed as his hands wrapped his face in disbelieve.

He was forcefully awakened by the persistent pests outside of his bedroom. He leaned back with both arms to support his body from falling backward. His muscular frame was tense. He stared at the alarm clock on the bedside table and tsked. 5 AM!

"Bro~"

'Damn it!'

He rose from the bed and walked towards the door.

"What do you want?" he asked as soon as he opened the door. Sun Nan and Lu Fei grinned at the sight of him. However, soon their eyes staring wide, ogling at the man who was underclothed.

"Bro, are you with a woman? Don't tell me you seduced Bella to sleep with you? How dare you!" Sun Nan pushed the door with all his might. However, his action was well-anticipated by the room's owner as he let go of the door the moment Sun Nan made his move. Poor the man, he flopped on the floor with a bang!

Still, it wasn't enough to stop him from running wild in the room, spouting nonsense out of nowhere.

"Where is she? Where is she! Did you hide her?"

Lu Fei's eyes were also scanning the room. When he saw Eric Wu was already covered in a robe, he chuckled. 

"Eric, that was quite a show," he said and laughed. The other simply shrugged his shoulder. Of all time why must they show up now? It was his habit to sleep with only his u.n.d.e.r.w.e.a.r on.

"Huh, no woman?" Sun Nan had just come out from the bathroom. He went to check on another room and soon his aggrieved face reappeared.

"Disappointed?" Eric Wu glanced at the man who just joined them in the balcony. Lu Fei was already laughing as he slapped Sun Nan's shoulder. 

"How dare you accuse him of sleeping with Bella. Too much, you're too much!" Lu Fei added. He really enjoyed making fun of Sun Nan.

"Hehe, blame the hormone of a man," Sun Nan grinned and then swatted Lu Fei's hand who kept poking him, his intention was clearly to make fun of him.

"What makes the two of you come here this early?" both Lu Fei and Sun Nan exchanged a look. Their faces turned serious when they heard Eric's query.

"Our nightmare has turned to reality," Lu Fei said with a grim look. Sun Nan didn't say anything and simply nodded. His playful personality was no longer seen. Now, the sight of him would give the perception of someone with a lack of humor. 

"Explain," 

Lu Fei heaved a sigh, preparing to share the news he acquired the day before.

"As you predicted, Yang clan has made a footing in Romstall. I just received the intel yesterday. However, I am not certain who's t.h.i.g.h they latched on," Lu Fei explained.

"F.u.c.k!" Sun Nan raged and kicked on the railing. "Soon, they'll come to Oundbatt and make a wreck there. Eric bro, what's next?" he stared at Eric Wu with eyes capable of burning a house.

"We wait and see. Right now, we have nothing to exploit," 

Lu Fei nodded, agreed on Eric's suggestion. Sun Nan screamed as his heart couldn't accept the fact that there was nothing they could do.

"Eric bro, is there any news from Kastache?" he asked after the outrage. However, when he received a negative response from Eric Wu, he was enraged again.

"Are we going to wait until they take over the other three countries? Their clan is now the ruler of Kastache and if we really do nothing, they'll take over Romstall. Then, Oundbatt and Azure… Shit!" Sun Nan spoke again.

Lu Fei stared at Eric Wu who was calm as ever and Sun Nan who definitely a contrast to the other man. He chuckled and put his hand on his shoulder.

"Bro, how long did it take them to control Kastache? Four years! Romstall had a clan ruling it, unlike Kastache who was abandoned. If we based on that, taking over Romstall will be difficult. I will not allow it! We'll not let it happen. However, to achieve the things that we want, we need to be patient, or everything that we have done before will go to waste," 

Sun Nan's rage was tamed when he listened to Lu Fei's comforting speech. Deep down, he knew they were speaking the truth, but when he thought about what happened to Kastache, the rage inside him stirred again.

Lu Fei saw Sun Nan in deep thought and poked on him again. Feeling the tingle, Sun Nan elbowed the man who apparently was up to his mischievous side again.

Eric Wu couldn't restrain a smile after witnessing their buffoonery. He knew these two very well; Sun Nan was a short-tempered man and Lu Fei was the one who enjoyed making fun of this easily offended man.

"That's right. The Yang wouldn't act rashly. They had made a good decision to begin their invasion to Romstall who currently ruled by only one big clan. Lu Fei, I believe the t.h.i.g.h they latched on is someone from your family sub-clans. They'll gradually help this person to climb to the top," Eric Wu sneered at the thought of it. 

Lu Fei pondered over what was said and couldn't help but agree. He looked at Eric Wu with grateful eyes. If it wasn't because of this man, they wouldn't know about Yang's intention to take control of the four related countries.

"Why can't it be the main clan?" Sun Nan asked curiously.

"The main clan is not an easy target. The risk to be exposed is higher. They will not dare after the accident at Kastache. They tried to kill one man but failed, instead, they caused the death of another person, stirring the media attention. This was their biggest mistake," Lu Fei immediately explain.

Sun Nan was confused at first but soon gaped in understanding. He stared at his friends in admiration, thinking that he was really powerless without the two of them.

"It's almost 7 and I need to get ready for work. What are guys doing the whole day?" Eric Wu stretched his body and then looked at his friends who were now looking at each other with a grin on their faces.

"Bro, why don't you take a rest today? Join us," Sun Nan suggested. His exasperated face unshackled, switching to his jovial personality.

"Hmm," Eric Wu probed, looking at Sun Nan who was smiling from ear to ear.

"Bella left her helmet in my car. We plan to return it," Lu Fei explained after seeing Sun Nan who was giggling happily, ignoring Eric Wu's probing eyes.

"Bro, on second thought you're not allowed to come with us. You've had your chance last night," Sun Nan crossed his hand to form an X. He grinned.

"I'll guess you'll be busy today. How long will you stay?" Eric Wu ignored Sun Nan as he directly talked to Lu Fei. Seeing this, Sun Nan pouted as he circled the man, pestering him to pay attention to him.

"Friday. Sun Nan as well," Lu Fei answered for both Sun Nan and him. He chuckled when he saw Eric pushed Sun Nan away so easily. 

"That's good. How bout you guys come to my house tomorrow evening. Let's have a drink," Eric Wu proposed. He let go of Sun Nan's hand who a while ago had made his second attempt to tackle him. Alas, he couldn't even touch Eric's shoulder when his hand was grabbed and twisted. He g.r.o.a.n.e.d in pain.

"Bro, you better teach me how to fight!" Sun Nan shook his hand, trying to ease the pain. He stared adorably at Eric, hoping that his wish would be granted.

"I thought you're a black belt?" the other asked.

"Black belt in flirting," Lu Fei sneered only to invite Sun Nan's annoying harassment.

After the silly banters, the three of them enjoyed breakfast together at Eric's villa before they disbanded to do their own things. Eric Wu went to his company while the other two plan to visit Bella Lim at her workplace.
