Simply Cafe was now closed for business. Outside, Lily was cleaning the table near the entrance while Bella Lim was hanging the closed sign to officially end today's business. Now and then, she would take a peek on Lily who was also staring at her once in a while. Her action was so obvious that Bella Lim wanted to flee the area as soon as she can.

"Bella, how did you meet them again?"

Sigh. Here we go again. Bella Lim closed her eyes as she pursed her lips. Then, a weak chuckle left her mouth.

"Big sis... are you for real?" she asked in a desperate manner. This had been the nth time Lily was asking her about Sun Nan and Lu Fei. She had been so kind in the first round, providing every information that she got regarding the two. Yet, Lily was like a broken jar, unsatiable. Her eyes showed the deep intoxication she had for the two men.

"Lil sis, how can you compare your feeling of helplessness to what I'm feeling right now. Do you know how painful it is being unable to hold them while they were here? Now that they were gone, I need to find a reason to meet them again. You are my only hope. Please~" Lily's singsong voice was enhanced with her pleading eyes. The effect was quite potent as Bella Lim was almost persuaded to entertain her questions again.

Thankfully, she didn't. Bella Lim clicked her teeth before successfully looked away to avoid the other's coaxing.

"Bell, my curiosity is eating up my sanity! At least tell me about either one of them. How about Sun Nan... ah..no, Lu Fei... eh, Sun Nan... Ugghh, whatever, are they married? Do they have a girlfriend? Why don't you give me their contact number," Lily pestered as she threw the towel on her hand to Daniel who went past her. She chased after Bella Lim who was trying to avoid her. Her steps were small yet quick making her look like running.

Bella Lim finally stopped once she reached the drinking bar and sighed at the amount of effort Lily was making just to get the answer she wanted. She tilted her head up and saw Lily was smiling down at her, hand clinging onto hers. "I'm not letting go until you tell me," was what she proclaimed.

"Sis, I've told you that I don't have their contact number. Besides, I only met them yesterday night and they came today just to deliver my helmet. That was it. Period. If you ask me again, I'm going to get angry," Bella Lim threatened. This was her last resort.

She realized that Lily was gauzing her up. Her face explained it all that she was doubting her. Thankfully, she soon let go of her hand.

"Aright, I'm sorry. Please, don't be angry," Lily rubbed her shoulder against Bella Lim's while sneakily took a peek at her face.

"Don't get mad~" she trailed her words while rubbing herself further.

Such action brought a smile to Bella Lim's face. She chuckled, pushing the woman who acted like sticky gum. A few moments later, both were laughing at each other.

"Damn, stop laughing!" Lily bent herself as her hand finds support. Then, she said: "Actually, I'm just excited to see two powerful men become fond of you. I listened to their conversations when you were quarreling with Carla and thought that they were really concerned. You said that you only know them yesterday but from what I see, they were treating you like someone precious," a soft chuckle left her lips.

This time she wasn't joking around. Even though her love of handsome men was the reason of her curiosity, she was also interested in these men because of how they treated Bella Lim. She had seen and heard with both her sight and hearing how Sun Nan promised to put Carla's life into fiery hell if Bella Lim was hurt. His determined face was fresh in Lily's memories.

Lily heaved out at the recollection and stared at Bella Lim, trying to see her response. She pouted after confirming that the other refused to give her a satisfactory response.

Bella Lim's cheek lifted a bit as she gave a half-smile. The moment she caught sight of Lily's pouting lips, the smile intensified which finally ended in the form of laughter.

"You look... so disappointed," she pointed out, still trying to repress her laughter. Lily sneered as she lightly bumped her fist onto Bella Lim's shoulder.

"Meanie," she mouthed and then swayed her bum, leaving the scene gracefully. Bella Lim was once again thrown in the pit of humor when she saw Lily confidently walked away with her supermodel gait.

Bella Lim might look unaffected to others' eyes but in reality, she was overwhelmed by Sun Nan and Lu Fei's warm treatment towards her. It was indeed weird if one was to put logic onto it, however, she knew feeling couldn't be repressed. Like her affection to Eric Wu, perhaps these two were feeling the same as well. Maybe, they felt a good connection with her.

Anyway, now that everything was done as to how fate wanted it to be, Bella Lim could only be grateful. In this new life of her, she scored a good friendship. Although, little pumpkin was her source of happiness, having someone to care for you and be concerned for you... it felt good. To be honest, she felt secure.

If only...

If only Eric Wu shared her sentiment. Sigh. She promised to earn his favor slowly but surely!
