Missing Girl

It was my first year of college and due to the excessive applicants the hostel was filled.

I joined a PG nearby called 'Kanya Hostel' for a year.

My room was on the first floor and I lived in room number 9.

I got in and introduced myself to my roomie Supriya. Her smile lightened everything and made things easy to settle in.

Supriya believed in keeping the door open due to network issues in the building.

Time passes by and from room 7 this girl comes in. Ria she said her name was. Ria was a senior, a warm pretty girl who just came in to say Hello at times.

Supriya was very religious, she did her puja and prayers twice a day and kept her idol in the room.

Months pass by and my exams were approaching. I was reading at night and suddenly this eerie old voice calls my name. The voice called me towards her. I freaked out and immediately turned to Supriya who was busy speaking to her friend. I asked her did you hear that?
