The island's central area, the battleground for the main battle, was in complete chaos, with ceaseless explosions, the tumultuous cries of players, and the scorched ground bearing the scars of various elements and rampant destruction.

The grim remnants of fallen players lay among the destroyed ground, silent witnesses to the fierce struggle that had unfolded.

The group of players that initially numbered over a hundred and fifty were now reduced to no more than sixty, and even among them, a third were on their last leg and would be killed in a matter of few seconds.

As much as the players prided themselves in their collective strength, they realized that killing the Quetzalcoatl was far from an option because even with all the sacrifice and efforts, only 19% of the creature's health was down.

If the teams had not targeted Alex's team, the outcome of the battle would have been starkly different, and because they did, half of the top-ranking teams were either opposing his participation or aiding him in the fray, significantly altering the course of the event.

Alex was quick to reach the battlefield and easily located Fulgor, who was the loudest on the battlefield and seemed to be having the most fun among everyone.

"You are quick, but I am faster," Fulgor chuckled, his words echoing with a burst of laughter.

In an instant, his form blurred and vanished, engulfed in a crackling bolt of golden lightning, slipping away from beneath the beast's claw with effortless agility.

Alex's presence didn't go unnoticed as many pairs of eyes swiftly zoomed at him, and with a smile, he waved his hand at them before using his broken combination of skills.

Alex felt the cloak of chrono energy cover his body, followed by the blissful feeling of having his senses boosted to newer heights, his presence shining like a beacon that no players could ignore.

Alex could maintain his peak for three minutes and twenty seconds, maybe more after the recent clash, but in any case, time was limited, and he needed to do as much damage as possible before the Quetzalcoatl went on the rampage because at that point even he would on the chopping board.

Alex was not given a moment of peace as in an instant after his aura manifested, the Quetzalcoatl was before him, his figure shrouded in crimson lightning, with his razor-sharp claw held straight like a blade radiating in lightning and flames moved right at him at a blinding speed.

The Quetzalcoatl was somewhat of a soulless creature, acting on primal instinct, so the moment he felt the threat that posed a real danger to his life, he was quick to make his move.

'Stygian Bastion' 'Ebon Lance Rain'

Alex created a multilayered shield to defend before he swiftly moved to the sky, avoiding the torrential beam of flame and lightning ripping through the shield like it was a piece of paper.

Alex created tens of lances of revolving darkness and showered them down upon the creature, drowning him in a rain of dark explosions and buying himself a few seconds to conjure his next attack.

At the same time, Alex pointed his palm down, conjuring multiple spheres of ominous darkness that grew by the instant in size and numbers, their palpable darkness eating away the surrounding light.

Upon reaching a respectable number of ten, the spheres stopped appearing, each expanding to an impressive two-meter diameter in a matter of moments.

They appeared serene yet massive orbs of pitch darkness pulsing with ominous glow, arranged in a crescent moon formation with Alex at the center.

Once the obs reached their peak, Alex unleashed the 'Stygian Lance Bombardment,' making the ten beams tear through the sky and meet their target head in a thunderous explosion that was accompanied by an even bigger explosion as the massive creature hit the solid ground, followed the beams.

The land was being ripped apart as a dome of darkness cloaked the area of impact, expanding at a rapid fame under the continuous torrent of the ten destructive beams.

While all this happened, the players did not just stand there watching him farm points, as in an instant, a golden spear ripped through the space barrier and appeared before Alex, inching closer to his head.

Alex shifted his form and caught the spear with ease, and like angered by his audacity to touch it, a flood of destructive energy surged from the spear trying to invade his body and burn his mana circuits.

Alex rewound his arm and threw the spear at the blinding orbe of concentrated flames rapidly moving toward him before he quickly erased the invading energy.

The spear blurred and vanished into the folds of space before it even made contact with the Solar Orb, an outcome that Alex foresaw, knowing the spear belonged to none other than Odin.

At the same time, the solar orb detonated, unleashing intense flames that surged outward like an exploding bomb, but Alex didn't move from his place and calmly raised his hand and used 'Nihility Purge,' summoning a blanket of darkness that devoured and erased the flames and heat upon contact.

While the big teams had done decent damage to secure a decent sum of event points, and by keeping Alex away, they have stopped his squad from earning any real points, but even then, they were not going to just let Alex come and farm points and ruin their efforts.

At least not when he was in his broken state that every player present had meticulously analyzed in all of his battles, having witnessed his one-sided dominance over Killian, the Corpse Dragon, and even his intense clash against the fallen Seraphian.

The entire chain of events from Alex's arrival and him taking care of the solar orb took less than ten seconds, and moments later, the dark beams ended, the darkness dissipating under the relentless assault of the elemental outburst released by the Quetzalcoatl.

The Quetzalcoatl lost 3% of its health yet suffered no real injuries, a result Alex anticipated because he knew the creature held formidable elemental resistance thanks to his law body.

With an icy stare, the Quetzalcoatl blurred into view before Alex, its serpentine jaws stretching unusually wide as it unleashed a torrent of pure crimson lightning, shaking the very fabric of space.

Alex, standing prepared, used the space knife to teleport out of harm's way, appearing on the ground a short distance away amidst a group of players.

The players quickly turned around, their weapons raised as they stared into the eyes that resembled pools of darkness, tendrils of shadow emanating from Alex's form.

The players, seeing him stand so close to them with his suffocating aura on display, felt that their thoughts of attacking him were stupid and felt a sense of dread, realizing the true magnitude of their adversary.

'I sure am realizing newer and newer fantasies every passing day,' Alex thought, his eyes looking at the best of best players and seeing focus, respect, and a hint of fear in their eyes made his heart flutter.

'Tenebrous Shard Enclave'

Alex used the domain, making darkness spread like wild flames, creating a dome that stretched just a hundred meters, a small area in the current scale of the battle yet still a necessary step that he needed to use to gain every advantage in his arsenal.
