MMORPG: Rebirth of The Strongest Vampire God

The strongest move in Max's arsenal was called [ Medium Of Power ], it was an attack that required Max to sacrifice 50% of his HP bar, 50% of his MP bar and around 100,000 EXP points which were roughly equal to 1 tier 3 level in return for becoming the medium of power of Angakok.

It was a skill that did not show as a learnt skill in Max's status bar, as it was not a skill recognised by the universal queen but rather a skill left over by Angakok for his followers.

Now as Max stood amongst an encirclement of 11 tier4 warriors it was the only skill that could save him from this predicament.

[ Fire Armour ]

The first thing that Max did was to activate fire armour, so that he could have extra defence against his enemies when he transitioned into the unknown.

A flaming armour soon covered Max in a really cool animation style as alongside his neck cracking Max looked like the main character of a novel transitioning into his power arc.

A flurry of attacks concentrated on his location zeroed in on him from all directions as Max used [ Way Of The Wind ] to feel them all and determine their trajectory.

Max weaved through the attacks like a serpent as he dodged his first wave of attacks beautifully.

Max cast Fire Wall spell 4 times creating a fire box around himself to give himself the necessary time to chant the mantra to become Angakok's medium of power.

" Oh no you don't! " Shouted Mazda as he unleashed a powerful tier4 sword slash against Max's firewall to blow the defensive measure aside so that he could have eyes on Max at all times and he could not run away like Sebastian did.

However, while he was successful in destroying 2 sides of Max's Fire Wall and getting a clear view on him, his slash had narrowly missed the location where Max was standing and hence Max still had the opportunity to chant his spell.

" O holy one, the progenitor of all shamanour descendants call for your help.

In exchange for my vitality, my mana and my vigour grant me your immense powers, for my enemy's need to be destroyed.

Heed my call for I know your name ' Angakok ' the shaman god, the enslaver of the' Kraken ' and the slayer of the sea god Poseidon.

Heed my call! " Max said as a brilliant burst of bright mana erupted all around him when he completed chanting the spell.

Max's HP bar and MP bar depleted sharply as he felt a pair of bright purple eyes staring into his consciousness and suppressing him under its divine might.<novelnext></novelnext>

Unlike the first time when Max saw these purple eyes, this time around he did not fear them, as while the eyes were all encompassing and dangerous, they were not looking at Max with anger but rather just curiosity.

' I need your help, please help me ' Max said, or tried to say as he was not sure if coherent words came out of his mouth as he could not hear his own voice in the space he was in.

But after he said those words, the eyes stopped staring at him and he was teleported into the white space of nothingness again as for 5 full minutes Max had nothing to do but float in the white space of nothingness as Angakok used his body as a medium of power.

Now that Max had done everything he could do in his power, he finally reflected on his decision to entrust everything to Angakok as for all he knew the endless whiteness could turn into endless darkness at any moment should his physical body die when he was out here.

Max trusted Drax's analysis that it was his strongest move capable of unimaginable destruction and hence he knew that him being hopeful that all this would workout was not a pipe dream, but it was also uncertain and hence Max felt a tad bit uneasy as entrusting his fate to Angakok felt like losing his consciousness away to his bloodlust all over again as while his physical body did great things in those state it was not actually Max who did it.

For Max, Summoning Angakok was the last option because not only did Summoning the ancient god incur him a great debt, but it also hurt his pride as an independent warrior.

It was definitely not a move Max wanted to rely on time and time again but rather make it an ace in his hole to get out of desperate situations.

For this raid, Max had to use the spell because he had no other way of defeating his enemies.

The corporate structure of the vampire military had made it so that Max did not get the support he deserved to take down the southern fort as a tactician and hence Max was forced to fight like a madman with the odds stacked against himself because defying the system was the only way forward for him.

Max needed the achievement points associated with taking down the southern fort if he wanted to beat the vampire military system and become a lord, whereas becoming a lord was pivotal for his and Asiva's future plans.

Under such circumstances Max's back was against a wall and he had to rely on Angakok's power to resolve matters which he could not do himself.

After a nerve wracking 5 minutes when Max finally opened his eyes he found it hard to breathe looking at all the destruction around himself.

The once southern fort walls that were tall and proud were reduced to rubble, as all around himself there was nothing but fire, ashes and blood of the dead corpses.

[ System Notification - Your debt to Angakok is 4,130,000 units of mana ]

Max had incurred an astronomical debt of 4 million units of mana!

" Bloody hell, 4 million units " Max said as he tried to move but found himself unable to do so.

It was at this moment that Max realised that he had a broken left leg, crushed right ankle, multiple wounds to the stomach and a red HP bar on the cusp on touching 0.

" YOU FUCKING MANIAC, YOU DESTROYED MY FORT, I'LL KILL YOU YOU BASTARD ".

A bloody and battered Mazda screamed as he hobbled towards Max while leaning on a javelin stick for support as he looked dead set on killing Max.

With his MP bar at 0

His HP bar at 3%

And his mobility cut off, Max was in deep trouble as he woke up, as his life hung in the balance by a thread.
