' I must warn you Max, never absorb the knowledge from another soul directly, always filter it through an A.I. otherwise you will lose your own sense of self ' Seraphiel had warned Max when giving him the accused move and Max took full note of it.

Technically, soul drain was supposed to be a challenging battle. The reason behind why Seraphiel told Max to lower his opponents HP and wear them out before using the move was to maximise the chances of success, however, even then success was not a guarantee.

Since Max was supposed to use soul drain only on opponents who were of higher age and higher tier to himself, he could never be completely at ease regarding what hidden move they might have up their sleeve as he could only hope to deal with whatever they threw at him within the soul realm.

However, with Angakok becoming a broken man without the will to fight back, Max faced no difficulty while absorbing his soul.

It was a slow and inhumane process, a connection was established between Angakok's body and Max's soul vessel with Drax serving as the filter.

Had Angakok tried to fight back or forcibly take over Max's soul energy, the battle in the soul realm would have been a dangerous tussle, however, the shaman god had no strength left to retaliate and had accepted his fate like a cripple.

Little by little, the green color of Max's soul grew stronger while the purple of Angakok's soul became dimmer.

His body aged rapidly as the power of his soul diminished and Max got to witness firsthand what regression of life looked like in god's who had lived for thousands of years and were in the twilight phase of their lives.

At first, Angakok's skin started to wrinkle and some of his hair began to fall, then his muscles started to shrivel and he lost even more of his hair.

Next his bones started to lose strength as he hunched over and was reduced to half his usual size, until even standing became too laborious for him and he laid down on the floor.

He was in excruciating pain, however, he did not utter a single word from the start till the end of the absorption process.

To his relief it all ended quickly, it took Max only about 15 minutes to fully devour every last bit of Angakok's soul, as by the end of the process his own soul vessel had nearly doubled in size and he felt stronger than ever.

' Boy, Once we return to the real world, I shall be forced to make you pass out-

The knowledge I've absorbed is too much, I need some time to organise it all, we would be out for about 24 hours ' Drax said as he informed Max about what was going to happen next.

Since there was nothing Max could say or do about it, he could only hope that he had achieved everything he hoped to achieve from this soul-drain as he was not going to be able to check the exact results of the process in the next 24 hours.

As the move ended, Max's consciousness returned to reality as he only had enough time to mouth the words, " Success, but I'm going to sleep- " before he passed out cold.

Thankfully, Sir Jhonny and Sebastian caught his brief sentence and were there to catch his body when he lost consciousness, as otherwise this whole scenario would have made them panic a little.

" We did it huh? " Sebastian said gently as he softly laid Max's body on the ground below and took out his sword to complete his end of the job.

As he turned to look at Khnum's vessel that Angakok once inhabited, it looked nothing more than a cold corpse of a god, yet despite it holding no real value, Sebastian followed through with his promise and chopped up his body into 999 pieces while decapitating his head to make it an even 1000.

Sir Jhonny collected all the treasures that came out of Angakok's body including the time-stone and stored everything securely.

Since Max had lost consciousness, the discussion about the distribution of treasures could not be held at the moment, however, sir Jhonny had realised that the greatest treasure of them all was undoubtedly this very time chamber.

He wished for the elites to take over this planet and the time chamber itself to nurture future talents.

Since the time chamber could not be used without the time stone, with the elites owning the chamber and Max owning the time-stone, the elites and the Bloodfall clan could ensure smooth co-operation amongst each other to enhance future talents.

This could prove to be the edge they were looking for, but the details needed to be discussed once Max woke up.

For now, the mission was a resounding success and it was time to send a message home about their victory-

( Present day, Dombivli, the conference room )

As Sebastian walked into the conference room with a weird looking box in his hand, everyone's attention turned towards the dwarf warrior as everyone stood up at once to greet him.

Sebastian was surprised to see Severus and Zippo being back, however, his surprise soon turned to joy as he gave them both a heartwarming hug.

" Good to have you back— " Sebastian said as he embraced Zippo after 12 long years.

The black dragon had been sorely missed and his return was extremely welcomed.

" So you managed to kill him huh? " Zippo asked as Sebastian subconsciously glanced at Zippo's chest.

Zippo had suffered a life-threatening injury the last time Angakok raided this place and needed intense treatment to recuperate.

Although the wounds had healed, the scars were still left as Sebastian presented the decapitated head of Angakok to Zippo in hopes of alleviating old grudges.

" THERE ARE CHILDREN IN THIS ROOM " Asiva and Anna shouted instantly as Asiva rushed to cover Kremeth juniors eyes while Anna glared at Sebastian.

Sebastian bit his own lip in stupidity as he had forgotten that his favourite child was in the room.

" I'm sorry, I got carried away " Sebastian apologised sincerely as he quickly hid the decapitated head away.

Anna and Asiva rolled their eyes in dismay but they let the error slide since today was a joyous occasion!

" Uncle Sebastian, where is father? " Kremeth Jr enquired as Sebastian scratched his head at the question.

Judging by the atmosphere of the room, everyone was expecting Max to return back home alongside Sebastian, but due to some special circumstances that wasn't the case.

" Umm, nephew Kremeth, your father is currently undergoing his tier7 promotion test.... If everything goes well, he will join us as a powerhouse in 2 days time " Sebastian replied, as everyone seemed shocked to hear this news.

Max had been a tier6 god for only approximately 13 years now! 13 years and he had surpassed the chasm between tier6 and tier7 and had also achieved status maximisation!

Asiva and Anna knew better than anyone about Max's insane levelling cheat and they could wrap their heads around him reaching the maximum level cap.

However, the two of them also understood the difficulty to achieve stat maximisation! It was impossible to achieve it within a short period of time, so unless Max had given up on his dream to walk the path of the perfect warrior, they couldn't figure out how he could have met the requirements in such a short time.

What the two of them did not understand however was that Max had a secret technique in his arsenal and had achieved a windfall by absorbing Angakok's soul.

The difference between the Max a week ago and the current Max was like heaven and earth and that was only the tip of the iceberg.

With Drax inheriting a lifetime's worth of Angakok's memories, his own database of moves and understanding of the secrets of the universe improved tenfold, while Max now had the qualifications to attempt the tier7 promotion test.

" Mom, will father become a tier7 warrior now? " Kremeth junior asked as just the question itself gave everyone in the room goosebumps.

There were less than 200 tier7 warriors in the entire universe and if Max successfully completed his tier promotion test, he could become one of them.

If he officially became tier7, then after Regus Aurelius and Vega Titus he could be considered the strongest within the vampire society and that would make him a credible candidate to ascend to the vampire throne!

Asiva stroked Kremeth juniors head lovingly as she pondered upon his innocent question.

As far as Asiva knew Max, if he decided to attempt the tier7 promotion test, he must have had the confidence to clear it, else he would not make such a rash choice.

Hence having full faith in his judgement, she said " Yes, the next time you meet father he will undoubtedly be a tier7 warrior "

Stars began sparkling in Kremeth Junior's eyes as the status of his father being the best was further solified in his heart.

" Guess I'll be staying here for a few days then…. " Severus commented as a joyous atmosphere enveloped the entire confrerence room.
