Series of arrows, rock bullets, and bullets rained upon the beasts.

Each of the range classes was skilled in handling long-range weapons and the damage they caused was impressive, but the large bear and wolf were still alive, they were injured but still alive.

"Tsk! they survived, ready for plan b, rangers reload" Yeti shouted.

Most of the rangers were happy because some of them killed off the smaller wolves and gain some XP but all that wouldn't matter except they clear the dungeon.

The two large beasts who were growling at each other now had a common enemy, humans were in their territory.

The bear turn towards the left side while the wolf followed the right side, both of them knew this terrain better than the humans who attacked them.

*Howl!!*

The wolf gained some distance from the rangers and howl loudly, signaling other wolves, series of howls echoed throughout the forest alerting all of them.

"I knew his plan wouldn't work...more wolves are incoming" Yeti mumbled.

"Knights in front...rangers climb the trees to gain height and support the knights and swordsmen, more wolves are incoming, I need two more men here the bear is coming first" Yeti shouted.

"RAAWWW"

The bear roared as it entered the forest, it charged towards Yeti and the two knights in front of him, the rangers were climbing the trees around while healers stood close to the knights for protection.

The bear ran towards them despite its injuries from the initial assault, few arrows were sticking out of the skin of the bear as it ran towards Yeti.

'This kill is mine' Yeti snorted as the bear was within reach.

Before the bear could reach where he was it crashed into the ground, Yeti and the two knights close to him were shocked, they didn't make a move yet the bear fell to the ground and its HP was deducted.

The bear attempted to stand up but fell down again and its HP reduced again.

"What is going on, how does...wait...that bastard guy, that assassin..." Yeti sneered and ran towards the bear with his sword to deal the finishing blow and obtain the XP.

The bear was gravely injured and close to its death, Alex raised both of his daggers and dug them into the neck of the bear killing it completely.

Alex stood on top of the bear stopping Yeti in his tracks, the two other knights were amazed at Alex's abilities, they didn't know someone was in the trees until he pounced on the bear, even the bear had no idea.

The bear slowly turned into light particles and faded away, Yeti looked at Alex with disgust in his eyes, he couldn't see Alex's face because of the mask but he was sure Alex had it out for him.

He knew Alex went to the other side where the wolf was coming from, but he had no idea Alex switched and came over here.

"I defeated the bear..." Alex spoke as he walked past Yeti.

'You are lucky PvP is disabled in dungeons, I would have slashed your head off right now' Yeti cursed inwardly.

"We defeated the wolf..." the other group shouted loudly.

"More wolves are incoming, rangers try to reduce their HP or possibly kill them, the knights and swordsmen would take care of stragglers, we are going to conquer this dungeon" Alex shouted and the group was in his favor.

Everyone's morale was high because of the first successful assault, even if they didn't kill a single beast, they knew a huge amount of XP would be awarded to them once they clear the dungeon.

All the players took their position and Yeti looked around, Alex was nowhere to be found again, loud growling sounds were getting closer and finally a single wolf showed up.

*Bam*

A level 7 marksman fired a round from his flintlock pistol and hit the wolf straight on its head, the wolf crashed into the snow and the body disintegrated.

'Marksman...a very interesting class, special stat precision...they also have a 90% chance of hitting the target as long as the target Isn't faster than them' Alex rubbed his chin from on top of a tree.

The battle was too risky for an assassin to take part in, none of the players would be aware he didn't take part and if they suffer any causality he wouldn't be part of them.

Growling sounds echoed and immediately all the rangers engaged in battle first, the wolves that attacked them were more than a hundred so most of them easily got passed the range of the rangers but the knights engaged them.

Alex yawned weakly on top of the tree where he was, he picked a large tree this time so he could rest, the wolves were probably low level so even if he gets on the action he wouldn't gain much.

"Two daggers are definitely better than one, I'll get another steel dagger when I get back to the city, I have to avoid that girl and quickly think of my next move, where do I go next"

The shouts and screams of battle were finally dying down and Alex could tell the battle was almost over, he had to get down so the players would know he didn't take part.

Alex carefully jumped down the branches, he choose large branches that could hold him to avoid falling.

"That's the last one..."

"I'll kill it..." Yeti shouted and ran towards the wolf rushing towards them.

From one of the trees, something jumped on the wolf and both of them crashed into the snow, Alex raised his daggers and stab the wolf repeatedly till the body of the wolf faded away.

Yeti's hands were tingling, and his body was moving on its own toward Alex, even though PvP was disabled he could help but want Alex, he wanted to shred Alex's bones, he always appears when others are looking and save the day.
