With that nightmare over, I teleport instantly back home to my family's Mansion in the underworld. Wondering if I had any thing to feed my new pet snake, I decided to head to the kitchen. There, I sensed someone unexpected.

"Oh, You're finally back Lin, you know how long I've been waiting? I've been waiting for days, oh, and I ate all your ice cream." a cool voice was heard as i walked in.

Sitting in the kitchen scarfing down a bucket of ice cream, was a barely clothed, messy blue haired, glasses wearing woman.

"Don't you think it's a bit hypocritical of you of all people to complain about someone not showing up home for a long time?" I responded to the woman.

"Meh" she stuck her tongue out.

This woman, who had not appeared in 11 chapters, was none other than the Calculator Queen, Polymath, Vice head of the R&D Department, Ajuka's assistant, workaholic child negletor,

My mother, Livianna Chandraneel.

"Anyway, why are you here? it's rare for you to be home this early in the month."

"What? I'm not allowed to take a break?" she responded.

---Taking a break?

"Oh, did hell freeze over when I wasn't paying attention?" I responded in shock to the strange words I had never heard before come out of her mouth.

"Har, har, har. As much as I would just love that to be the case, it's not. the project we were working on for the last few years is finally done. And because I missed you oh so much, I decided to take a break"

---Lord ajuka probably forced you to take a break.

"Also, isn't your birthday coming up soon? I bought you a present "

".... can I hit you?"

[.... I feel sorry for you kid]

"What?" she looked at me in confusion.

"Mom... My birthday was last week"

"???"

This woman....

"Whatever, not important. anyway I still got you something. it took a while but I finally got my hands on it."

She instantly created a summoning magic circle, from the center appeared several gift wrap boxes. But what caught my eye most was a red box which she handed to me.

Even without asking, I could tell what was inside the box. After all, I'm the one who asked for it, also, this aura..

I open the box and was instantly baptized by the red draconic aura within.

[This is...]

what laid before me was... a red stack of scales. Red dragon scales. Ddrags scales to be precise.

"you like?" my mother asked with a smile.

I could only nod in response

As to how she got the scales of a long-dead dragon, she began to explain.

When those two Heavenly dragons fought each other, they left quite a bit of devastation in their wake. this particular set of scales were retrieved by her from their last battle location. A place that was also the place of their death.

When they were sealed, most of their bodies were annihilated. But there were still some bits and pieces left left in the fallout zone of their battle.

I wrapped the scales up and put them away in a safe location. I have future plans for them later. I'm pretty sure I can make a decent weapon out of these. Maybe a red dragon bladed weapon that can use "penetrate" and "boost" or something like that, who knows.

After handing me all the gifts we talked with each other for several hours how about miscellaneous things such as her work, my training, and my new pet snake.

As it was getting late, she left and went to her room to sleep.

But before she left, she handed me one last thing.

My final gift, and the one I'm most excited about.

A smartphone containing a single game.

This game had been what her lab, headed by Lord Ajuka, has been working off of past couple of years now. and was now in the beta testing stage.

[Beelzebut Beta]

A game that is essentially ajuka's attempt to imitate the effects of the longinus [innovate clear] the  [Sacred Gear that lets you impersonate God].

[Innovate Clear] is an ability that enables the user to create an ideal world in another dimension…that's its normal ability.

[Innovate Clear] can create even living things in that world. It's a Longinus capable of creating a fake universe.

It is like [Dimension Lost] and [Annihilation Maker]. But It seems like it captured the best parts of both [Dimension Lost] and [Annihilation Maker].

The best way to describe it would be as a type of [Matrix] or [Mooncell]. A type of virtual reality world in another dimension, except it's less virtue and more reality.

The game [Beelzebut] is an imitation of that. truly, Lord ajuka can really be said to be a genius on the level of a god if he's capable of achieving something like this.

Of course, if this game has been created. It means that Lord ajuka has already come in contact with and made enemies with the user of [Innovate clear] and [Talos Karma], Mitsuya Kanzaki, the first protagonist of the DxD universe. the protagonist that appeared in the first book written Ichiei Ishibumi long before High School DxD, the protagonists that existed years before the third protagonist issei. The man who is an even greater cheat than anything issei could manage to be.

this man is also one of the few people lord ajuka considers an enemy. even going as far as to label him "extremely dangerous"

Well anyway, what I have here isn't the full version but a ultra light version created specifically for me on request.

The real one is still only in beta too.

The function is this:

--The player is oneself, not an avatar (character inside the game)

--The field the player is going to play on was a fake game field located in the dimensional Gap. The players will be teleported in to play with their own body.

-- Inside [Beelzebut], you can access the game's system by using a cellphone (including smartphones).

-- the player will automatically be ejected and healed if damaged reaches a certain threshold

so on and so forth.

Speaking of the game field, The Game Field is where all Rating Game matches take place and is located inside a section of the  dimensional Gap protected by a barrier. This field was created by Lord Ajuka and the technicians who work under him. The field itself provides a simulation of any environment or scenery for a game to take place in.

So in other words, this game for me serves as the perfect training field. not only am I free to cut loose inside, but I can also create any type of enemies and environment to fight.

Not only that, this place is huge too.

that the vastness of this field created in another dimension was as big as the Kantou region. The real [Beelzebut] from what I can recall, was even larger than this, as it was said to be as large as the Australian continent.

'Damn. The devil's technology is really on another level. just how many centuries will it take Humanity to reach this?' I pondered it to myself.

Honestly I'm so excited. it's not everyday one gets to jump inside a real life video game simulation. it's a good thing I begged Lord Beelzebub to let me in to the beta.

At least in his eyes, i am not a normal 11 year old kid. I had long proven my intelligence to him, which I had no real reason to hide. He treats me like a student, and I learned quite a lot from him.

This all happened after I managed to beat him in chess once when I visited Mom in the R&D Department (and was then crushed brutally in subsequent games after)

He says that I'm almost as intelligent as he when he was my age. I can't help but shudder at the thought, just what kind of freak monster was this guy when he was a kid?

I'm even cheating here by using thought acceleration and memory partitioning along with my reincarnated memories. Just what the hell kind of monster are you?

No wonder Lord Zeoticus said ajuka and sirzechs were born with no other title worthy of them than satan. They're both monsters through and through.

Putting aside those scary thoughts, I activate the app. I put in all the required information and hit enter. A teleportation circle appears just under my feet and I am sent into the dimensional Gap. I appear in a open space with a giant crystalline slate in front of me. all kinds of holographic patterns appear on it with various settings and preloaded locales.

I choose the easiest ones for now.

Aside from training, I have two main mission goals.

Firstly, I'm a beta tester who's tasked with sending back information to Lord Beelzebub's team.

Secondly, I have my own personal interest in the way this entire system works. if I can thoroughly analyze it, I can recreate it perfectly, and create my own personal hub located in a different space.
