Monster Hunter: Zinogre

I quickly assess the situation I was thrust into, in front of me stood an old man. His white beard flutter in this windless void, his eyes, shaped in to crescent moon glimmering mysteriously. He wear an amicable smile on his face, his facial feature seem to only enhance his charisma. He open his mouth to speaks, rows of pearly white, evenly teeth can be shown.

"Shoto my boy, I am regretted to inform you that you've pass away mid surgeries" His voice vibrated outward from the void. His smiling face has a flicker of sadness, before it silently gone away."Worry not though, I've decide to reincarnated you into your favorite fantasy world" He said understandingly. "Now to make things right by you, I will give you three wishes, do make them count okay?" He gave me a thumbs up, while he flashed me with a shining smile, like a certain anime character.

"Well then, for my first wish I want to be a Thunderlord Zinogre" I said nervously, hoping that this was not a dream. "Okay!" Waahhh so bright." For my second wish, I want to have an enlarge dragon organ" Once again the old man flashed an extremely bright smile."For my final wish, I want my fur to protect my Dracophage Bugs and Thunder Bugs from me killing them by overcharging" A hint of surprise flashed in the old man dark pupils. He smile at me and ask"Why don't you chose to be an Elder Dragon?" I replied back simply with "Because, Zinogre is so cool"

The old man laughed out loud, his beard swaying from one side to another." Because of some of your request, the appearance of your Thunderlord Zinogre has been change quite a bit, but rest assured I've only make it cooler" He said, while gave me his signature thumbs and smile combo. He continue on " I've also make it so that, you will be born a few years before the hunter guild discover you."

"Thank you for giving me this chance" My voice break a bit from the overwhelming gratitude. This old man has been the kindest person I've know in my 25 years of life. The old man smile gently "If you want to repay me get stronger, and live your life. As command by me, Zhang Hufei, commander of the 1st section of the Heavenly Xia" His voice domineeringly spread outward, vibrate the void we are standing in. His gentle smile never left his face, a contrast to the voice I've heard.

As my body were envelope by the light, about to be transported away, the old man call out to me nervously. "Shoto, if you don't mind could you call me grandfather? I've never had the chance to be a grandfather you see, and spending time with you make me feel like I've a grandson" He said while twirling his finger around, his eyes stared downward. I just smile gently, this old man has done so much for me. I who has been an orphan all my life has already consider this old man as a grandfather figure. Before I got transported away I simply call out " See you, grandfather" Through the bright light I saw his smile one last time before the column of white light envelope me. I was stoked, Monster Hunter here I come.
