Monster Integration

3504 Fighting The One With Bloodline

"Finally," I thought as I looked at the spatial boundary in front of me.

It took eight and a half days, but I had finally reached the end of the known realm. Crossing it, I will enter the unknown.

Though not completely unknown.

I have the maps, thanks to the Grimms, and some information I was able to interpret. I also got information from others and shared what I had.

So, I am not going totally blind.

I took a deep breath and crossed the spatial boundary.

The first thing, I had felt as I reached the other side was the cold, and then I felt the snow falling on me under the moon shining brightly from the sky.

However, the thing that made me most happy was the dense forest.

I love the forest, and this one is my favorite kind. It has its own energy, which makes hiding much easier; my clone had already started to study it and meld my stealth method into it.

The other region of the ser august realm didn't have such greenery; even the greenest spot I have come across didn't have a quarter of the trees, this place has.

If I am not wrong, then this part and the ser august realm were not originally one. They have connected to each other in the spatial sea.

It is rare, but not rare enough; ten in two realms, are fused realms.

Well, now that I had come to the other side. It is time; I hunt for some Grimms. Though, I will also find out what these Grimms are doing, which is an official mission issued by the organization.

In these past two and a half days, I was only able to kill the seven Grimms, and of them two were Sovereigns and not one of them had the bloodline.

I hope, here, I will find some Grimms with the bloodline.

With that thought, I moved ahead, with my soul sense spread around me and me releasing the soul waves every five seconds.

Before I used to release them every half a minute, but seeing how they have helped me discover, two Sky Sovereigns and four peak Earth Sovereigns; I increased their pace.

A few minutes passed when I suddenly stopped.

This time, there was no fear on my face, but a wide smile. I have a sensed a team of Grmms. All three of them are Mid-Earth Sovereigns and one of them has the bloodline.

They are by the camp eating, and it is not a monster they are eating.

I have seen this scene hundreds of times in my life, but every time I see it. I felt my blood boil, and I was barely able to control myself.

Still, I took a deep breath and controlled the bubbling emotions I was feeling, before calmy moved toward them, even pace.

A few minutes later, I had reached a mile of them and walked ahead before entering the clearing they were in.

They didn't even get up from their spot, just looked from where they were sitting. One of them didn't even stop, eating.

"It is a good thing; you have delivered yourself native. With you, we can have a full meal," said the Alabaster Snakeman from the right and got up.

All three of them are Alabaster Snakemen Tribe. The one who spoke was very beefy; it was the most muscles Snakeman tribe Grimm, I had ever seen.

Usually, they are of the lean build; it helped them with their speed and agility.

"Ulu, be careful." Cautioned by the one in the middle.

"Don't worry, brother. You just keep the spices ready; I will bring its body to you in seconds," it said and came at me.

Its speed is really faster, faster than I thought. However, I was more surprised by the heavy ax in its hand. It was the first time me saw the Snakeman using any kind of ax.

It didn't take even a second for it to appear in front of me and, as he did, a grin appeared on his face.

"Die, native," it said and swung that ax at me.

Puch!

A moment later, there was a shock in its eyes as it saw the green crystalline blade in its chest.

It had happened so fast, that it wasn't even able to react.

"Ulu!"

The middle-Grimm shouted in shock and grief and a powerful bloodline aura blasted out of its body. It was so powerful that I became surprised, and my expressions turned serious.

However, those who know me would be able to see the excitement in them too.

The Alabaster Snakeman is much stronger than I had realized, and it made me happy. I love it when I have to work hard to get the bloodline essence; it makes it worth it.

It also means that the boost, I will get from it will be stronger too.

"Release him and I will give you the quick death. If you do anything for him, I will make you regret that you had ever been born," it threatened in a slow voice.

As if wanting me to understand what is at stake.

"Fuck off," I replied.

Immediately, even a powerful bloodline aura blasted from the body of the Alabaster Snakeman as looked at me with all the rage in the world.

It looked at it for a moment, before disappearing and a fraction of a second later, appeared in front of me, with its bright red thin saber coming at me.

The anger had disappeared from its eyes, and, and now, there was an only coldness in its eyes.

It made me even more serious.

If it had been someone who had let its emotions guide it, I wouldn't have been this careful, but those who could control their emotion to such a degree a second after they saw their loved one dead are worth remaining cautious against.

Burst 75%.

I activated the burst and felt its power as I moved my spear toward it.

CLANG!

A moment later, our weapons clashed.

It was a powerful attack, but I took it without much shake, before bringing the grin on my face.

"If this is all you have, then you can forget taking the revenge of your bother," I taunted.
