BANNNG!

The huge horns of the monster crashed against my sword, sending me flying once again, with blood coming out of my mouth.

It came at me again, with those sharp glowing horns that could pierce through my armor, without any resistance.

I am bloodied and seriously injured, but put my great sword in front of me to defend myself.

The attack from the monster had been so sudden. Fifty-five seconds ago, I had sensed the monster, four seconds after that, I had received its first attack.

I didn't run away and instead prepared to fight it, because running away had been useless. It would have caught me within seconds.

It is why, I am using a great sword instead of the spear; I wanted to be at my best at a powerful enemy like this.

I am fighting a bull monster who is at Peak Earth Sovereign Stage. It is white, with blue spots and long sharp pointed blue horns. I couldn't let my body be touched by those horns.

It would be the death of me.

BANNNG!

Once again, the horns crashed against my sword hard, and I shot back at even greater speed.

With such momentum, it is really hard to avoid the trees. It is why I am avoiding those I could and crashing through the rest.

The monster is far too powerful, to fight against. I wouldn't fight against it, but here, I don't have a choice; given its power, I couldn't run away from it.

Nor, I could hide, seeing how it had been able to sense me through the stealth method. Even forbidden power didn't make the method perfect; there are some monsters or special methods, that could detect it.

Usually, I welcome such enemies; it helps me find a flaw in my method and fix it, but this bastard is too powerful.

Since it had attacked me; I am only defending. It is not giving me a chance to do anything else.

Now, I really regret not setting up the abode and resting. I shouldn't have traveled through the night, but I wanted to cover a little more distance before I stopped to rest.

It is all because of that bloody map and my excitement to reach the place as soon as possible.

There is no use in regret; I have to deal with the monster before it kills me and I had started before it had even arrived.

BANNNG!

Once again, I was hit and this time, even stronger, with a huge load of monster energies that would kill anyone of my power, but I have handled them without any problem.

It is the physical part of the attack that will kill me.

Already, it had broken my bones and damaged my internal organs. If not, for powerful healing energies working their magic with the aid formation within, I would have been dead seconds ago.

MOOO!

It mooed loudly in anger and came at me, with its horns shining even more brightly.

The monster is getting angry and has more power to deal with me. Seeing that, I shuddered, but moved my sword forward, despite the pain I was feeling, making the slightest movement.

CLANNNNG!

The horns crashed on my sword, and I felt like a meteor had crashed against me and had swept me up in its momentum.

Sending me flying back with such force that my armor got strained in managing the momentum to help me dodge the trees.

It is a good thing; my clone is managing that. I would have trouble doing that since I was vomiting blood repeatedly, whole more bones cracked around me.

This time, the injuries had crossed the limit, that I won't be able to use my full power, while the bull was coming at me, with more power.

Every part of my body screamed in pain, especially my hands, as I once again moved my sword forward to defend against the coming attack of the horns, but I still moved my sword forward.

BANNNNG!

'Fuck!' I cursed as I nearly threw my sword away, I sense back, blood and pieces of internal organs coming from my mouth.

This time, the skin of my hand split open and blood began to come out of it.

MOOOOOED!

The monster mooed loudly, seeing me surviving, and came at me and now, its horns are shining like the torch.

'I won't be able to survive,' I thought and without hesitation, pulled the strings.

I would have liked to have a minute more, but unfortunately, I can't have that. I would be dead in the next second if I didn't use the string, and I did.

The moment, I did, confusion appeared in the eyes of the monster, before alarm flashed on them, as it found itself slowing. Its movement is constrained by something, it couldn't explain.

MOOOOED!

It mooed loudly, and I thought it would run away as most monsters would do in such a condition, but it didn't and instead, it targeted its eyes at me, with bubbling rage.

The air began to shake around it and the horns blazed like the sun, and I couldn't even see them.

Its speed, which had slowed down considerably, got faster and appeared in front of me, before attacking me with those blazing horns.

Sup!

The sword disappeared from my hand, and I used every bit of power I could muster and dodge the attack, dodging it successfully by inches.

MOOOOED!

It mooed in rage and attacked me again and this time, I had dodged the attack, by the same distance.

This monster wasn't someone to let go of and seemed to harness even more power and attack again, but this time too, I had dodged the attack.

I am not only dodging the attack but also manipulating the strings.

Since it had come to that, I had decided to forgo the delicate method and started to manipulate without caring to hide.

Every second, more and more strings appear around it, while old ones are getting tighter at the right parts, making its movement difficult.

Still, the bastard is strong and resisting the strings.

"I want to see how long you could resist," I said directly, looking into its eyes, as I dodged another attack. It glared at me angrily and attacked again and I dodged.

It continued for a little over twenty seconds, before the monster began to slow down and no matter how much it increased its power, its speed wouldn't increase at all.

Instead, it would slow every second.

Mooed!

It moved, and it was a low roar, because I had wrapped my strings around its mouth, that it couldn't even moo properly.

It continued for a couple more seconds and it kept attacking, despite slowing down. It seemed to want to kill me, prioritizing its survival, which is fine too.

Because I want to kill it too; the next meal I have will have this bastard on it.

It attacked me again, but this time, I didn't move, and when its horn appeared an inch from me; it stopped moving too.

"You should have run away when you had the chance," I said to it and my sword into a fine long needle sword, while I moved toward its eyes.

It tried to defend, focused its magic on the eye, I attacked, but it was useless.

Puch!

My sword pierced through it, before piercing its eyes and then its brain, before releasing a burst of energy, which finally killed it.
