3545 Limit Reached

"You are good, but it is far from enough. If you want to survive against me," said Crockman with confidence.

"I think it is more than enough to deal with little crock like you," I replied and immediately, the anger blazed in its eyes.

"I will kill you!" It roared and swung its toothed sword at me.

The dark energy came out of it, like an angry flood, and began to gather around its toothed blade, concentrating, till it had become almost solid.

The energy swirled around my spear too, and it was dense, but not as dense as the Grimm in front of me. It is on a completely different level, but that doesn't mean mine is weaker.

CLANNNG!

Our weapons clashed and with it, the energies created a powerful shockwave and also sent a large amount of inheritance energies at each other.

These energies are extremely powerful, and it might not seem much, but my energies did the damage to the Grimm, while its energies just entered inside me through the thousands of pathways and disappeared forever.

While it was happening, it had swung its sword with another attack, and this time; it had used a different method.

More powerful than the last one.

The runes flashed in me and the energy came out, coating the blade of my spear into the thin layer.

So, when it reached the Crockman's blade a moment later. It cut through my spongy, slippery layer of energy formed over it.

To be honest, I am impressed by the move and working hard to keep my expressions in control. This move is so powerful that any weapon touched the latter, it would slide past, never reaching the sword inside.

Giving it a clear way to the enemy.

CLANNNG!

My spear pierced through the whole sponge and clashed against the blade, stopping it in its tracks, and making the Grimm glare at me hatefully.

"If this is all you have, then you can forget even injuring me, much less killing me," I taunted.

"You bastard!" it screamed, and its aura flared.

It attacked again, and the attack was good. Though not as impressive as the sliding sponge, that one was really interesting.

Still, I need to be careful of it; a mistake and it will be the end of me.

The attack is powerful enough to kill me in a single attack, and I don't want to give it any chance to do that.

CLANNNG CLANNNG CLANNNG

The attacks kept coming, and I kept countering them. They are powerful, but I have a plethora of moves to counter them.

Still, I would need to finish it soon; in just a minute, since I arrived, things have become worse from native. The Grimms who had been holding back, have started to reveal their strength.

The people who are having the hardest time are the ones who are fighting more than one Grimms, which are half of the people.

We couldn't afford to lose even one person; it would destabilize the whole battle and I can't have that. Even I wouldn't be able to help and would need to worry about my life.

So, it might seem like I am only defending. I am doing far more and soon; it will be time for me to act.

Till that time comes, I will need to keep engaged and make everyone feel like, including the Grimm, it is my real enemy and not a prop; I am using to keep my real enemy unaware.

Seconds passed, and I continued fighting.

A few natives got more injured, and one native had nearly killed the Grimm. If the Werewolf had been a moment late in reacting; it would have been cut into two, but the bastard reacted quickly.

The native was only able to get injured on the Werewolf, instead of reaping its life.

Even after getting an injury. The bastard quickly sealed it with energy, not letting even the slightest curse of energy enter inside it.

This dense curse energy around us isn't for the show. It is extremely dangerous and even a small amount of it could bring us to our knees.

Things are getting precarious, and I am doing everything I can. I wanted to act immediately, till it was too late,

One of the natives, the human, had got some of course on them, and while they seemed to have gotten the curse contained. They won't be able to do it for long.

The curse will get them, and it will be hard and fast.

Let's hope I will be able to do the thing I want to before that or I will need to find a way to escape out of here.

Seconds passed, and finally, I was finished.

"Bastard die!"

The Crockman screamed and attacked once again, and I moved my spear like I did.

CLANNNG!

A moment later, our weapons clashed, but this time, there was a shock. As it was not the counter, but parry, and now, I am moving forward, with my spear aiming the Grimm.

The Crockman reacted fast, but it was slow compared to me moving at full speed, using every ounce of strength.

My strength had increased a lot and if I wanted to, I could have killed within a minute, but I needed it as a prop to catch the bigger fish, which I did.

Puch!

My spear reached its chest and pierced through it without any problem, despite many defensive methods.

A moment later, it had disappeared, and I moved toward the real target.

The Iced Horn Chimpman, who was fighting against the Monkey Beastman with Snakeman, turned toward me, seeing me coming at it.

"Handle the filthy thing for a moment, till I deal with ant," it said turning to me.

A moment later, it came, and its speed was amazingly fast, that it had turned to blur before appearing in front of me.

"Die, ant!" it said and swung its metallic claw at me, while I moved toward it without hesitation.

The claw moved extremely fast, but halfway into it began to slow down fast that my spear easily avoided it and reached its chest.

Puch!

It was so confident that it didn't even activate any defensive method and my spear pierced through its armor, before piercing into its chest, while it could only look at in terror.

"You shouldn't underestimate the ants, sometimes they kill," I said with a smile, and it disappeared.

It appeared in my core beside the Crockman.

With it in my core, there is no one could stop me, from reaching the limit. Within a few minutes, I would reach the limit and plan to make a breakthrough after getting out of this place.

I would have done it in this place, but the environment is extremely harmful to the breakthrough.

While my abode could bear it, I don't want to take the risk. Seeing how delicate and dangerous my breakthroughs are due to the forbidden power.

"Itks!"

I was thinking that when a loud angry roar came from the abode, and I saw Peak-Earth Sovereign Grimm roared and now it is coming at me with vengeance in its eyes.

"Fuck me!" I cursed.
