Morningstar Of Sin

One perk of wrath that I have never told anyone about is that if an enemy is in my domain of weakness I can see them… without needing to 'see' them. Right now there are two such enemies in my domain and one of them is substantially bigger than the other.

One looks exactly like the young man I saw outside yet slightly older and wearing odd clothing. Like one of those weird people who 'cosplay' like fictional characters. He was wearing an old looking black cape-like cloak with a sort of old fashioned purple button up. But it appears he isn't moving or even breathing, but the fact my aura effects him means that he is alive.

The other enemy wasn't even a person, it was a demon, but not like any I have domain over. He was nine feet tall with the head of a jackal with horns, the body of a human bodybuilder, the arms of a lycan, wings of a bat and the feet of a goat. He was staring back at me with a bloodthirst in his eye but he didn't move but just stared at me, they both did.

"You can see me," He finally says with a little shock in his voice.

"I wish I couldn't, you look disgusting. Honestly, I would just kill myself if I looked like you." He snarls at me as I finish speaking.

"How can you see me angel sc.u.m?" He says obviously mistaking who I am for a brother of mine.

I get angry at his assertion that I am an angel "You dare insult ME!" My horns grow from my head and my grown of fire blazes to life bigger than usual. I step forward as my size grows to nearly 8 feet tall. I open my hands and a bastard sword appears in each. The swords are all black with double hilts meaning they are supposed to be held with two hands. I cross the swords in front of me and they both blaze to life covered in a deep red hellfire.

Seeing all this the creature doesn't look scared but more like surprised. He is confident he can handle me within his own domain.

"Let it be known you were ended by the Morningstar." I charge forward at my fastest speed into the darkness as my body rages red from wrath.

He teleports out of the way fading into the darkness around us and appearing 50 feet behind me. "Don't lie to me little demon The Devil has been gone for nearly two millennia. Why would he appear now?"

"I have no reason to answer a dead dog who will die with no name." I use the power of greed to steal his teleportation and rush at him again.

I am in front of him in the blink of an eye I appear with my swords raised slicing down at him. He looks unafraid until he fails to teleport, realizing he can't flee he raises his arms to take the hit.

*SHINK*

The swords full-on hit his arms but don't cut all the way through, which surprises me. These swords have cut down old gods and demon gods alike. As I let him back away I look at his arms to see that he is not bleeding, instead, souls are leaking from the wounds. My rage re-ignites.

"YOU DARE STEAL FROM MY HELLS." Hellfire sprouts from in infinite darkness bringing illumination onto the ugly creature. The creature now looks terrified as he realizes who I really am.

He prepares himself with the darkness healing his wounds "Even if you are the Morningstar you can not defeat me in MY realm. I am THE Predator." His face looks ready but I can hear his voice shake.

My horns grow further and twist around themselves as the crown of fire turns into a darker red flame. "Before you would merely die, now you will know true pain." Hellfire surrounds us as the landscape becomes more akin to hell than a land of darkness.

The darkness seems to fall from the sky coming towards me but I swing a single blade at it and a wave of hellfire slashes from my sword and consumes it. I fly a few feet in the air as I begin swinging my swords sending a barrage of hellfire at the ugly creature.

Seeing that my hellfire consumes the darkness he starts sending wave after wave of dark energy to repel the fire to smother it. I smile at his frail attempts at defense as I slowly fly closer making the barrage even harder for him to repel. As I'm only a few feet away he falls to one knee and grits his sharp teeth.

"ENOUGH!" He yells as the darkness swirls around him coming from all directions trying to put out the ever-burning hellfire I brought into his domain. He manages to extinguish most of what is around him but the surrounding sea of hellfires still burns strong. I would say that his attempts are impressive but if he was in my realm I could kill him with the snap of my fingers.

I watch him like a child throwing a tantrum with my gaze still cold as the force is drawing blows around my short hair. Seeing he is trying to consume energy to empower himself I decide it's best to end this before it goes too far. I step forward with my swords still blazing with a crimson light. I push through the darkness while being empowered by my wrath.

As I reach the center I see him screaming while darkness enters his body. He looks at me shocked that I could walk through the wall of darkness he put in front of himself. Before he can react to protect himself I stab my swords into his stomach as they burst with hellfire. The hellfire starts consuming his body but doesn't kill him

"AGHHH"

The swirling darkness stops as the creature falls to the ground screaming in pain. He is burning in hellfire while the surrounding darkness continues to heal him. Seeing as he will never be able to get up in the foreseeable future I walk over to the man in suspended animation. I touch him and run a bit of wrath through him to cleanse what was holding him there.

As he falls to the ground and gasps for breath I put a sword to his neck. "You will be the one to answer my questions, Understood?"

He just nods while still taking deep breaths looking at me with eyes full of fear.
