My eyes linger on the unconscious Jean as I look around at all the faces looking at me. "I don't really have anything left here to do. Are you ready to leave Ruby?"

She nods as Charles holds out a hand for us to stop "Wait, what about putting Jean into stasis, who do I contact."

"Oh." I pull a business card out of the air as a wisp of fire flares and vanishes from my fingers. I flick the card to him and it perfectly hands on his desk a foot away facing him.

"That is the number to my lead researcher, he should be able to figure it out, our biotechnics are unparalleled on this planet," I say with a small smirk.

He nods "Thank you. I will remember this."

I shrug "It's not a big deal. Be sure to sign the contract." I say to Storm with a wave as Ruby and I walk out.

"Not unless you save Jean!" I hear her yell behind me as Ruby and I walk out.

"What did you say to that girl?" Ruby asks curiously.

I roll my eyes as I wave to Ray who is leaning against the limo "She wanted me to save her life but I declined since it would be too much of a hassle."

She looks confused "What's wrong with her?"

"She somehow managed to get the phoenix trapped inside herself. I don't know how she managed it, impressive honestly." I say stepping into the limo as Ray holds the door open for us.

"Wait, THE Phoenix? I have heard stories from my older sister. I heard it makes her life ten times harder since it kills so much." She says unconsciously looking back at the mansion.

"That is its job after all. It is really just a glorified garbage man. If it had a real consciousness I would have half the mind to make fun of the damned thing." I say leaning back in my seat with a grin.

Ruby rolls her eyes "So why is it a hassle to get it out of her… or under control at least."

"I can't make contracts that go past my own power. Drawing the power required is something I am not willing to do at the moment. It could be a few months or maybe a few years before I can do it. I'm not in much of a hurry anyway." I say with an uncaring smile.

"Can I do anything?" She asks sounding too invested for my liking.

I scoff "Your sister could absolutely, but you? That's funny, perhaps in another 400 years."

She looks offended "I am not weak!" Her cheeks puff a bit.

I smirk at her funny face "Indeed, you are quite powerful… for a regular plane god. Compared to Eternity? Infinity? Chaos? Death? You are an ant. I mean your father gave you your own personal realm to gain power in and you watched TV on re-run instead."

"HE IMPRISONED ME!" She says as genuine anger crosses her face.

I hold my hands up "Sorry, I forgot about your daddy issues."

She crosses her arms as she looks away "Says the OG of daddy issues."

My eyes narrow "What does OG mean? And my troubles with my father have nothing to do with my treatment. It is a difference in ideologies and I am the correct one."

"And what makes you think you are the right one?" She says with a sour tone.

I spread my arms wide "Because none of this would exist if I hadn't fought for it."

She rolls her eyes "Sure, whatever you say."

"Do you think Harry Potter, Doctor Who, Sherlock, and Supernatural would have ever been made if the mortals didn't have free will?" I say with a single brow raised.

She meets my eyes for a second before looking away "He may have gotten to it eventually…"

I laugh a bit "Now you're just being a childish brat."

"Hmph." She holds her head high "I'm going home first, Blackfire and I are supposed to go to the salon anyway." She disappears from my sight as she finishes her words.

I put my arms on the long seats as I lean my head back "She is getting bratty… is this teen angst?" I say to myself as I lean back.

Once I get home I take the elevator upstairs, the doors open to reveal Jessica and Tandy sitting at the table eating a late lunch with Angela and Darcy across from them. They all turn to face me while Jessica and Tandy get up to greet me.

I hug Tandy tight as I look at the jealous Darcy and Angela who is rolling her eyes. "Welcome back." Tandy says as she pulls away letting me hug Jessica.

"What were you doing?" Jessica asks as she hugs me tightly.

I pull out a copy of the contract I gave to Xavier. I grab her shoulder as I pull her away and show her the contract. "I was doing this."

She grabs the contract as she reads through it carefully she gets more and more excited as she reads more. "Holy shit Lucifer. Thank you so much." She says throwing her arms around me tightly.

I just smile as I hold her in my arms "I heard you say you were struggling to get mutants to apply so I thought I could help you out a bit."

She looks up at me giving me puppy dog eyes that are nearly hidden by her dark hair over her face. "Perhaps I should give you a reward tonight."

"Hey, I called dibs tonight," Darcy says possessively.

Jessica looks back with a fake pouty face "Maybe if you ask nicely I'll let you join."

"No fair." She says full of injustice.

I shrug "She has signed a contract which makes her a main wife."

Darcy points at Tandy "She hasn't signed one either."

Tandy chuckles a bit "She doesn't count, she has been with me since I was a 16-year-old human."

Darcy gives Jessica's a.s.s a glance "Fine, I'll join you."

Angela who is sitting next to her is making a fake gagging motion next to her like she is disgusted. "Ew." she says not looking over to me.

I roll my eyes "Oh, shut up you v.i.r.g.i.n."

She finally turns to me with raised brows "You think I'm a v.i.r.g.i.n?" She asks.

"I know so," I take an exaggerated smelling motion. "Exactly like Eve the night I took her first time." Tandy and Darcy roll their eyes while Jessica laughs a bit appreciating my half-joke.

"I don't know who that is." She says with a dull face.

I shrug "Do you four have any plans for the day?"

Angela shrugs "No, I'm always free."

"I am not starting my job till tomorrow," Darcy says finishing her drink.

"I do, but I can have Sapphire take over things if you need me," Tandy says.

"I don't work Saturdays," Jessica says still clinging to me.

"How would you all like to take a trip to Tir Na Nog?" I ask with a small smile. "I plan to build another elevator in this room to lead to Hell, but I want you all to get used to the city before that happens."

They all nod in agreement and Tandy quickly goes to call sapphire while Darcy looks a bit apprehensive. I walk up to her letting Jessica go finish her lunch before we leave.

I sit between Angela and Darcy "What's the matter?" I ask putting my hand on her back.

She sighs "I'm sorry for being a kick in the balls, I just feel out of place. Tandy is a badass light sorceress, Jessica is a uber strong mutant, and Angela is apparently an Asgardian princess with the power of fire."

I raise my brows "Do you want me to give you power? That will require your soul, you know, I'm not cheap"

"What if I become a sorceress like Tandy?" She asks looking up at me.

"You can ask the Ancient One. She is usually only pretending to be busy. She has already said she will make my palace in Tir Na Nog her main home so you will have direct access to bug her." I say with a sly grin.

She rolls her eye "I'll ask her first, I'm not that desperate."

At this point Tandy walks back in "Okay, I'm ready."

I nod "We need to stop by Kamar-Taj to pick up the Ancient One."

Tandy looks excited "OOOO, let me make the portal."

I gesture for her to go ahead and she makes a few hand symbols with her eyes closed and a ring of light slowly opens in the living room. It eventually expands to around ten feet in diameter glowing with pure golden light.

I gesture them forward "Ladies first."
