"That..." Thomas stopped and also with good cause.

It was okay to belittle his son's mother before but doing that again this time was a certain pitfall that could alienate Claude's feelings against him.

Nevertheless, he decided to tell the truth for what it was since his son was going to find about it sooner rather later with how much power he wielded at the moment.

"She's nearby, Claude." Thomas said and looked towards his good old servant at the right.

"Invite Claudia in here, Alfonso." he ordered an aged yet surprisingly bright eyed grandfather.

"At once, master!" the servant bowed respectfully before he exited the premises with swift large strides.

"Thank you, father." Claude muttered and was indeed excited for his first meeting with the one who brought him out into this world.

Well maybe not technically but upon hearing that even their names sounded a little bit the same, he has only high hopes for this fated meeting.

Although he could have known everything all at once, for even the myriad of universes that abounded in the far cosmos hid no mystery from his eyes, but that was a practice that would certainly rob him from the pleasant sense of wonder.

"As i was saying, my master could not believe his eyes the moment he saw me. He said, and mind i reiterate again, this was his own words and not mine.

He exclaimed that i was a son of the Heavens and would no doubt be served by the countless gods and immortals and savor the praises of a trillion different races in due time.

My master's divination skills is certainly profound and at par to no one else because when he uttered those holy predictions, the entire sky sprouted off divine golden flames unto my then incapa..."

Pepe ran his mouth again and relished the fact that everyone in attendance has only the ears for his rubbish.

If they had known how creative he could lie on the spot, he surmised that not a few would have vomited off blood and some might even be unlucky to have a deviation in their cultivation realms.

But then again since no one was the wiser, only a single soul amidst the thousands gathered here could only laugh at everybody's expense in tonight's festivities. Pepe was indeed enjoying his moment in the limelight.

"You should have seen the might of my master, father. It was colossal!" Pepe exclaimed with his continued shameless flair for the dramatics.

"What?! Did he perhaps give take you to his sect, Claude? Where was it? Tell me quickly!" Thomas' ears burned the moment he realized the extent of his son's knowledge on that mysterious master of his.

That revered master's abilities in healing alone could be considered unequaled as Thomas could easily see the results of his son's well being tonight.

From a salivating fool to a respectable man of substance and power, the change that had happened to Claude was simply astronomical.

This was why Thomas wanted to strengthen the relationship between his family and that mysterious master.

But before Claude could answer, his attention was caught by the slow and labored footsteps near the entrance of the halls.

The whispered conversations halted completely as everyone else followed suit to await someone's arrival. A few breaths later, two women could be seen gracing the eyes of the gathered guests and owners.

"Mother?" Pepe muttered but there was no warmth in his tone. Only the beginning of a raging tides of anger that no one and nothing could ever hope to quell.

"BOOM!" the world shivered in Pepe's abrupt departure from his seat. But in fact, it was safe to say that the entire universe trembled along this single action.
