"No need for apologies, Lester. Have a safe trip back." a man about the same age of the first speaker replied. This was Claude's father, the current Clan Leader of the Tiberius Family.

Though he had wanted to get angry at his friend but he was very well aware of the circ.u.mstances of their children.

Claude's future was bleak and outright non existence while Venus was a gifted maiden who was even selected by one of the nine righteous sects in the Erast Continent.

"Thank you, Thomas." was all Lester could say before he went out together with his entourage.

He had nothing but graciousness towards the man and even as he walked away, he thought of the things he could do in order to better repay this kindness.

The gifts he brought earlier were abundant enough but that was nothing compared to the freedom that his daughter had gained from today onward.
