Sienna was not one to offer help to someone after all. She was a conniving woman who would always find her way to get whatever she wanted; and right now, she wanted Luna's inheritance. She would never offer help if there wasn't a catch.

'I told you, it's because Julian is still my brother and you are my sister." Sienna laughed. A laugh that irritated Luna. She was very moody lately, and her emotions weren't on the right track. Was her pregnancy starting to affect her moods and thinking?

"I don't recall you as a loving and caring sister, Sienna. Cut the crap. We both know what you want from me, and I have no plans on giving it up. Aside from my inheritance, there isn't anything else you can get from me.

"You're already the Vice President of Jiang Corporation; why do you keep yourself in my shadow? After all the things our father did for me and to my mother, I wouldn't care what happens to the Jiang family. We are only connected by our surname and nothing else."

"Regardless of what you think of me, Luna, we both know that you are in dire need of help. You can't possibly let Julian die, right? You do know you need my help. Where else will you get the money to pay for his medical expenses if you wouldn't accept my offer?"

Luna snorted. Her sister Sienna was really something. How shameless could she be?

"Oh? Thanks, but no thanks. I don't need your help, Sienna. Julian is not in a grave condition anymore, and we've already paid for his surgeries."

"Paid? Who helped you pay the bills?" Sienna was clearly surprised with what Luna told her. She screamed mentally as her plans were ruined by someone.

"That's none of your business, my dear sister Sienna. Perhaps once Julian is stable, you will pay him a visit, right? I'm sure Julian will be happy to see his caring sister from another woman," Luna said sarcastically.

"Sure. I'll visit him soon. Let's keep in touch, and let me know if you change your mind." Sienna bit out as she seethed in anger.

Everything went according to plan until now! Julian got into a bad accident like she wanted. Luna also came to their residence. It's part of her plans so this is the only part that failed. Why was everything not going according to her plan?!

"Don't bother. You're a very busy person. You shouldn't waste your time with us, Sienna. Now, if you will excuse me, Julian is waiting for me." Luna immediately hung up the phone. F.u.c.k. Why couldn't she get this suspicion against her half-sister out of her head?

This wasn't really the first time Sienna tried to help her. When they were younger, Sienna always asked for things in exchange for her help which Luna never bothered to accept. She hated the whole Jiang family and refused to associate herself with them.

She wanted to cut off her ties permanently from that heinous and disgusting family. But when Julian got into an accident, Luna swallowed her pride and stepped back inside the Jiang Mansion to seek her father's help, only to get disappointed again.

Luna went back to her brother's hospital room, only to see the doctor who looked around his late fifties and was in charge of her brother's welfare. He was talking to her new husband and her mother when she arrived.

"Doctor, how's my brother?" Luna inquired.

This was really the first time she was talking to the doctor with a clear mind. The first time she met him, she was in distress and panic over the accident. She was shocked and could only nod in response as the doctor explained how she needed to raise funds for Julian's surgery and to decide if she would allow them to perform it.

"I could say that you and your brother are very lucky this time, Miss Jiang. Because you were able to decide fast and we had operated on your brother in time, we were able to remove the blood clot in his brain. There's another operation to do, but this will not be as critical as the first one," the doctor explained.

Luna released a breath she didn't know she was holding. She could finally relax and hope that there wouldn't be any problem for Julian along the way. Her pregnancy and stress were starting to affect her health, and she didn't know if she had enough energy to deal with everything. Right now, what she wanted to do was to have a good night sleep and rest properly.

"Alright. Thank you so for much for your hard work, doctor. We really appreciate your help," Luna said and gave him a slight bow.

"Don't mention it. It's our job to save lives, Miss Jiang.'"

After the doctor left, Hero bid goodbye to Elaine before calling out Luna's attention.

"We have to go. We need to go home now," he told her.

"Home?" Elaine creased her brows. Were they cohabiting or something? "Luna, what's the meaning of this?" She was a mother, and of course, she could tell if something was wrong with her child.

Luna looked at Hero's as if asking for his help, but the man only shrugged and adjusted Amber in his arms. She was left to deal with her mother and was aware that she couldn't hide this fact from her and Julian anyway.

"Mom. You know I'm pregnant," she said in almost a whisper.

"Yes, and you told me it isn't Jasper," Elaine replied. As she said those words, it dawned to her what it meant. Her eyes went from Luna to Hero and back.

"Mom, I'm married to Mr. Li. I am his wife," Luna confessed.
