Of course, the hotel staff in charge of assisting Aiko and Jasper wouldn't let them know that the woman they were looking for was indeed inside the room of Hero Li. But he would be a fool if he tried to offend this scary businessman.

It wasn't his business who their guests spent the night with. Looking at his current situation, he would rather lie instead of losing his job over this trivial matter.

This would be one of the important life choices he'd make, and he wouldn't dare to mess up with it.

"Are you sure?" Aiko's voice was almost pleading. It would put her to shame if Luna did leave last night without her knowledge.

"Positive, Miss Chen. Our management can confirm this detail if you doubt what this lowly servant said today."

"No. There's no need for that," Jasper interjected. He had enough of this drama. If Luna wasn't here, there's no point in staying and making a scene in this place.

"But Jasper …" Aiko couldn't finish her words when she saw how Jasper glared at her.

"Then leave. I grew tired of this." Hero sneered and then turned to the hotel staff. "I'll let this go only once. If you dare to disturb my rest again, there will be repercussions."

The man's face turned purple at Hero's direct threat. The door was slammed hard on their gaping faces, leaving them on the hallway.

'No! This isn't what supposed to happen!' Aiko screamed in her mind. Her anger towards Luna Jiang rose to another level. It was all her fault. It was all Luna's fault why Jasper hated her right now. Her eyes flashed with murderous intent, but she forced herself to calm down.

"Then she must be sleeping at home right now," she said to Jasper, hoping he would let this issue go and forgive her. "You must call her. I forgot to tell her that today's our flight. She would be heartbroken if she found out we left without saying goodbye."

Jasper's silence made Aiko uncomfortable. His face was unreadable. She noticed that since that morning, Jasper wasn't his usual self. Did he also know all along about her tricks?

Jasper ignored her and decided to leave. He made his way to the elevator, leaving Aiko behind.

"Jasper! You stop right there!" Aiko couldn't control her rage anymore.

The object of her affection instant stopped on his tracks and looked back at her over his shoulder.

"If you dare try to harm Luna once again, I will never forgive you."

His words stabbed Aiko's heart. This was the very first time that Jasper talked to her like this. So he knew all about it. Would that mean there wasn't any chance for her to win his heart?

Luna let the water wash away the remnants of what had happened last night. She could still feel the soreness between her legs and saw the trail of dried blood on her t.h.i.g.hs earlier, reminding her of what she'd lost.

It's over. She could no longer show her face to Jasper like this. Last night, she made the biggest mistake of her life.

Her sobs were muffled by the water as it hit her lithe body. Her body was shaking as her knees trembled that forced her to lean on the wall to support herself.

There was nothing else she could do to change what happened. Luna realized that she had to break up with Jasper. She had to cut off ties with him, or else she would further humiliate herself. While she had no idea who was the man she slept with last night, she couldn't be sure that he wouldn't try to use this against her.

She knew that this beautiful stranger was a dangerous man.
