Gu Zhenkang looked at Xiu Jie, telling him to pass on the message again.

Xiu Jie’s face twisted. He had no idea what made Officer Gu this confident that whatever he raised would move Elder Miss. Did he really think that Gu Mansion was a wonderful place?

Despite what he was thinking inwardly, Xiu Jie still passed on the message. He was a servant. He could not decide what his master wanted. So he just did what he was required to do.
