He slept before her. She had stayed awake listening to his heartbeat wondering what the hell she just did. Wondering what the hell just happened. She wanted to run away but he held her firmly in his hands. Even in his sleep he was still possessive of her. He was still afraid of losing her even when he was not conscious.

His heart kept beating in a steady rhythm. He was truly at peace now that she was with him.

She didn't know when she slept and when she opened her eyes he was there with breakfast.

"I got you sandwich and apple juice I know you like it." He smiled setting the tray down on her legs. He was already fully dressed clad in black tux and grey shirt. His short hair neatly combed.

"What's the time." Gloria asked already panicking. She rubbed her eyes trying to rid them of any trace of sleep.

"It's time to eat. Please just eat OK." He pleaded sitting down. His eyes beckoned on her and she couldn't fight the intensity of them. She took one bite from her Sandwich and she loved it. She m.o.a.n.e.d her approval.

"This is good just the way I like it." She smiled as she closed her eyes and savoured the taste of the heavenly food.

"I know."

He couldn't remember when last he was this happy. When last he was filled with this much flutters. After the blow job last night he had woken up scared. Scared that she would leave. That she would think he was taking advantage of her. But now he was relieved that she was here.

"How do you know?", Gloria asked looking at him with suspicion.

"I just know. Let's say I'm a psychic." He replied with a smile. He didn't want to tell her about his dreams yet. About how he knew almost everything about her from his dreams. Would she believe him? how long did it take he him to believe him!

"That explains a lot King David." She laughed feeling somewhat relieved. King David his mind repeated, searching for what it loved more than the sound of her voice and the way she called his name.

He watched her while she ate and when she was done took the tray away since she needed privacy to bath.

Gloria put on a grey suit with a black skirt and red bloody lipstick. She concealed her face a lot easier now the injury was almost gone.

The car was quiet today but not the uncomfortable quiet yesterday it was a peaceful quiet a quiet that allowed you to smile.

He had taken her to his office with his workers having a more shocked reaction than they did yesterday. One was just an action, two? a coincidence but most of them did not believe in coincidences.

"We will be traveling to Dubai today for a business deal I need one of my consultants and I'm going with Gloria." David announced. In a meeting with the consultants.

His eyes not leaving the dazed eyes of Gloria.

"But you always go with more than a team of consultants and their head, me of course. She alone cannot handle huge business deals like that." They called any of his dealings business deals including that which had nothing to do with any business.

"This should be the last time I will give an order and you question it. Understand. You have become too unruly Clara and I do not wish to have to tame you." He said Calmly. Clara nodded seething.

"Good that will be all. Gloria let's go." David said standing up, the room was so quiet that they heard each other breath. No one dared to infuriate him.

Gloria stood up shakily. Her legs were healing and she wasn't sore anymore but she was shaking. Shaking out of fear, fear of the unknown.

He put her arms in his and led her outside the conference room. He had hardly entered the officer when he pinned her against the wall and kissed her deeply.

"God! I've been wanting to do this the whole morning." He m.o.a.n.e.d biting her lower lips. She pushed him away her Hands shaky on his c.h.e.s.t.

"Not here please someone may come in." She whispered. With that she pushed passed him and went to seat. Her heart beating all the while. What exactly is going on?

"I don't care." David sighed sitting down close to her on the sofa. He took her hands in his pressing against it in an assuring manner. "I don't care." He repeated. He was so close to saying how much he didn't care because he loved her but again he thought against it. "And besides no one can come in without me knowing."

"I think we should just go home so I can start parking that's if we are still going to leave tomorrow." Gloria said sharply.

She stood up adjusted her gown and left. She needed to clear her head. Everything was so confusing to her, everything. She didn't understand what was going on. Her life has always been a rollercoaster ride but it has never been this roller if that makes any sense.

David's heart ached as she left. He didn't know how he was going to win her heart more so when he knew it has already been shattered. He was going to try though. He was going to try hard.
