After sitting in the same spot of the past twenty minutes Teddy decided to call it a night, there was nothing he could do now but he would start all of his plans tomorrow after a good night's rest. Going into the room he looked at the little girl giving her a small smile even though he wasn't confident in being a dad he would try his best. That he Slept.

*It was a quiet night... A Cat died crossing the road..... a man successfully robbed a bank making him now known as 'The Silent Steps...*

In the morning Teddy woke up with a ticklish feeling on his face making him want to sneeze, opening his eyes he saw into a beautiful blue eyes with red hair near his nose. Beth was sitting on his stomach looking down at him while holding the brow teddy bear he got last night, one thumb in her mouth staring at him curiously which was reasonable since he has only asked her three questions a day. Are you hungry? Bathroom? Sleepy?

After a few moments Teddy put on a gentle smile and rubbed her head, "Hey there pretty girl, are you hungry?"

Her baby blues went wide staring down at him with amazement since this was the most she has heard him speak, "Daddy talk to me?" she asked tilting her head.

"Well who else if not for you chipmunk?" Teddy laughed lifting her up while walking towards the bathroom. He helped her brush her teeth and was her face before setting her in front of the TV with some cartoons, while she was settled he walked into the kitchen.

Beth was stunned seeing changes in the dad who until now didn't ask her opinion on anything this was even the first time he had let her watch cartoons since she has been here. She was surprised but a small smile could be seen on her face as she watched a TV show about an octopus and a lion working to solve crimes.

Teddy sighed looking over the contents of his kitchen there wasn't really anything in here to fix for breakfast, at first he was going to make the eggs he found only to realize they were three weeks past due. now he was staring at his last option bread, cheese, and butter he was just going to make simple grilled cheese. He made quick work of the food before cutting it into triangles bringing it over to Beth who was singing along to the opening theme of a show.

"oh oh oh... where did the puppy go... oh oh oh... nobody knows ..... oh oh oh...where did the puppy go...."

Teddy had to control himself not to screech at such cuteness and smiled while setting the food in front of her. She gave him a quick smile before going to work on the food but it wasn't long until she stopped and stared at Teddy in shock, "Daddy what is this?"

Teddy tilted his head in confusion, "What do you mean it's a grilled cheese."

"B-but it taste so gooooood!" she said taking bigger bites her cheeks now really looked like she was a chipmunk.

Teddy only laughed and made himself some to nodding at the taste he was shocked at first but it wasn't the most alarming thing to happen to him in the past couple of hours. Walking to the couch he pulled up his phone and found all the useful information he needed for today.

his bank account had about $1,300 dollars, plus the six hundred from his wallet he could make rent this month but he wasn't planning on staying here. Sure the rent was cheap but it was in the middle of a small town that he didn't really like, added bonus his parents didn't live here. His parents had a house in New, York in the Hamptons that had plenty of space for him and he wouldn't need to pay for anything.

While he was contemplating his next steps Beth walked up to him with puppy dog eyes, "Daddy can I have another?" she pleaded looking as if she would cry if he said no.
