Teddy and Beth spent the rest of the morning singing before he called for and Tuber to take them to the airport, he had a car but it was a broke down piece of junk he couldn't drive anymore. He came from a wealthy family but the past him didn't want to deal with being in his families shadow so he moved to the middle of no where got a job at a store and spent his life how he liked.

Anyway him and Beth were now at the airport sitting in first class getting ready to take off, what he didn't expect was the reaction of the flight attendants. They were all smitten with Beth and started giving her things on the house she was now eating her second ice cream, of course he could stop it but he always believed kids should be spoiled and have a happy childhood. Seeing her smile was now his only wish so he didn't even care.

Before the flight was fully boarded he got a call from DV or Ivy whatever he still hasn't decided since they really haven't met or have a relationship. "Yellow!" Teddy said answering in a neutral voice.

"Where are you why is it so noisy? and where is Beth I would like to speak to her before I get busy again." She said in a clipped voice not even bothering to be polite with him.

He knew the reason why though 'he' did call her a 'limelight fame hungry monster' last time they talked, so it wasn't entirely her fault for being rude. "Ahh well we are currently in a plane getting ready to go see my parents." Not wanting to hear nagging again he looked at his daughter who was now covered in chocolate and pouring cutely before handing her the phone, "here you go chipmunk it's your mom."

"Mommy!" She squealed into the phone, this was the longest she had ever been separated from her but today's turning point of her dad she was happy to spend time with him. They spent the next twenty minutes talking before hanging up surprisingly or not when Beth was about to cry when Ivy said she couldn't go see his parents she relented but said they need to be back in time for her to pick Beth up.

The whole reason Teddy chose for them to move out to the Hamptons other than the free house and his parents helping, it was that Ivy's record company was in New York so they lived there. Considering he didn't want to be apart from his daughter he chose this place that way when her mother was busy she could easily spend time with him, but it was more like he was going to try and get them both to move in.

After a four hour flight at 8pm they arrived at the airport in Coco Bay, California where his parents had settled down to retire, after getting their bags they saw two people standing out front shaking with excitement. One was a man in his fifty's with pepper gray hair that had tent of red, he was standing at six foot six with a great body and still refined and masculine face. The woman next to him was petite standing at five foot four she was more youthful she could pass for a woman in her thirties, she had hazel eyes with long flowing blood red hair her smile was currently lighting up the place.

Usually when his parents saw him he was the only thing in their eyes but this time the attention was all taken by the little girl who was currently pulling his cheeks and laughing, "Hehe Daddy has big cheeks." Beth said grinning and laughing. Of course Teddy wasn't fat he was actually in very good shape with a four pack heading to a six pack he had a swimmers body.

"Ahh Beth if you pull anymore daddy will not be handsome anymore." Teddy lightly said but didn't stop her actions at all.

"It's okay daddy will always be the most handsome so I will play m--" Before she could finish her statement she was pulled from her father's arms and put in a tight hug by his mom who couldn't stand being ignored.

"ahhh! she is so cute my grandbaby is the most beautiful in the world." his mother said squeezing her close rubbing their cheeks together. Teddy had two other siblings who were older than him but they had yet to give his parents grandchildren but now with Beth they had one to spoil to death.

"Grammy it hurts! Daddy carry!" Beth complained reaching out for her father and even with his mother's stare that said 'I will kill you if you take her' he still held her in her arms making her instantly happy. She stared down at her Grammy with a little unease thinking she would be safer if she stayed in her dad's arms from now on.

All this time Teddy's dad Theodore stood in the back but seeing his chance to be better than his wife Mary he reached out for his little grandchild with a lollipop on hand, "Come here cutie look I have candy for you."

Beth turned to look at him but her eyes soon had tears at the sides from his creepy expression, "No stay away, Stranger danger mom said I couldn't go with people who offer me candy."

Like a knife had stabbed him Theo dropped to his knees holding his head trying to controls the tears from sliding down his face making him look hysterical, today him and his wife just took a huge blow. One was on the side trying to figure out where she had gone wrong while the other was on his knees banging his fist on the ground crying about not being cute enough for his granddaughter.

Teddy had nothing to say about any of this.
