My Dear Lady Boss

"Hey! You two there, Can I ask you some questions?" An adventurer shouted loudly to two haggard men who are currently sitting under a big tree.

"Stop being so full of yourself, old man. Look at that face of yours, it is full of beard, no woman will want you." Rosa Diana joked with his appearance.

"Why do I need another woman to look at me? This life is already over because of a tomboy. I cannot bring myself to find another woman because in my brain there is only a woman with a graceful bearing as a man, don't you think so, Rosa?"

"Who is your tomboy? This old lady found out long ago that it was so convenience in fighting while wearing as a man. My movement won't be disturbed at all. This old lady has many men in pursuit just to get into my grace." Rosa's face quite blushed from William's compliment.

"Who dares to flirt you? When this old grandpa is here!" William looked around just to find out there is a middle-age with big muscle started to walk toward them.

"Hello! You two, I wanted to ask some questions."

"Hello!"

"Hello!" William and Rosa replied one after another.

"Oh! I forget to introduce myself, I am Nacorn Maque, an adventurer." the adventurer introduces himself first.

"I am William Max, and this is companion Barom Mos. We are also an adventurer." William gives whatever name that comes up into his head to Rosa Diana.

"What do you want to know?" William asked him.

"First of all, did you happen to hear something about the explosion in the inner area of the forest?" he asks with the expected expression as he can see how to distress these two men were in.

"Yes, of course. I also heard it, too." how can they didn't know about the exploded sound. It was his own work. During this 3 nights and 4 days' time, he always places his bombs surround their resting place at least 100 m long distant around them as a deterrent if there are some spirits' beasts happen to walk past by, they will explode up. It is a countered measure to save Rosa energy and have enough rest at night, so they can go out of the inner area faster. For those bombs that exploded after they left, it is all those beasts' unlucky fate.

"Did you happen to just leave the inner forest?" Nacorn Maque asks with expectation.

"Yes, we just left the inner forest shortly. We want to find a caravan to return to the city." William told Nacorn Maque his goal.

"From your exhausted appearance, you need to find a lodge to rest first. I can bring you to a caravan that will be left for the city tomorrow."

"But can you tell me more detail about what has happened inside the inner forest?" Nacorn Maque in his inquiry expression said.

"Okay! Let's go for a lodge first as my companion here needed some rest." William said with a caring expression toward Rosa Diana. He looked toward the inner area of the forest with determining expression that doesn't seem like William who just woke up inside the forest that always had a carefree smiling face.

"Hmm, let's go then. I happened to know a nearby lodge owner, we might get some discount." Nacorn Maque wanted to help Rosa Diana up, but just to meet William Max's cold glared eyes. He stopped his action immediately. Nacorn Maque thought to himself "Oh! I almost forget an important issue."

After arriving at the lodge and get a room for Rosa Diana to rest first. William Max and Nacorn Maque go out to the tavern as they are going to get some light drink and meal. The spirits beast meat is really a delicacy that catches William's taste bud. As the two enjoy the drink and meat, William told Nacorn Maque about how the explosion happened. At first Nacorn Maque does not believe William at all, but later on, after they finished their meal, William brought Nacorn Maque to find a lake in the outer layer forest just to demonstrate how the explosive bomb work.

The three people arrived at the caravan that is prepared to return to the city the next morning. On the way, William advertises many of his work toward Nacorn Maque and many other adventurers that return to the city to claim their reward for their mission or to resupply the materials for their mission. After roughly seven days long journey the team finally reach the one hundred long foot city wall, William was surprised to see such a high city wall. The adventurers entered one by one after giving some commission toward the city guards as a tax to enter the city.

"Why did you bring out so many of your stuff to show off in front of many people?"

"Don't you know you cannot show off like that. As something bad might happen what if they decided to robe you." Rosa asked with her usual cold face.

"Nope, not at all. As I also told them, that we are from a corporation to spread our products to the mass. They will gain more than stole me if they can at least think about the future. Only if their brain is damaged, that they would do something as stupid as that." William replied toward her, as he already is thinking how to earn more money after they return with the caravan adventurers' team.

"It has been nearly two weeks since I am missing. I don't know how my clan men and especially my grandfather is currently doing?" Rosa said in a low voice.

"Don't worry dear, everything will be fine. Now we have to find the real culprit behind your murder case." William consoles her with his soft and caring voice.

Four days ago, inside a dark room, there is currently a meeting between a big black man and a skinny youth.

"Have you completed the mission that I gave you?" the big black man asked toward the skinny youth with a cold voice.

"Yes, yes, boss. I have spread the rumor according to your plan." the skinny youth replied with a trembling body as if afraid of getting punishment from the big black man.

"Hmm! Well done, you can go now." after the skinny youth left the darkroom, he has a relief expression on his face as if he had just come out from the door of death.

"What do you think of the Diana clan current situation?" the big black man causal said alone in the darkroom. After a brief moment of silence, there seemed like a human fuzzy shadow appears out of thin air.

"If everything is going smoothly as planned, there will be no more Diana clan exist by the end of this month." the fuzzy shadow disappears again after having said that.

"Diana clan, did that old fellow become so senile after getting older?"

"You wanted to make a comeback. Don't even think about it, we Big Black Bear clan never leave the weed to grow. Our path has crossed, so you cannot exist." the big black man laughs to himself.

Currently, outside of Diana Clan's front door, there are many protested people and signs about many things.

"You have to give us an explanation, where is the young lady?"

"You cannot hide her forever."

"Let she comes out to meet us and explain to us."

"Where are our goods?"

"Pay our money back."

"Where is my salary?"

The loud sound of many protesters shouted toward the shut-tie front door of Diana Clan. The guards embrace themselves in front of the protesters like a stone statue.

Inside Diana Clan, in the main hall, there is an elderly old man with a calm expression who is currently sitting at the household head position. After Rosa Diana brought William throughout many blocks of roads, they finally arrived at Diana Clan's front door. At first, Rosa doesn't believe her eyes that after her missing for just two weeks, the clan is already closed its front door from the protesters that block the household exit place. How long has this problem occurred?

"Hey, brother! Why are you shouting in front of someone else houses?" William asked a protector to gain information about what is going on?

"There is rumor around that the young lady of Diana Clan is missing two weeks ago, I did not believe it at first, but after many and many of their client's goods cannot deliver to many of their client destinations, the chaos began."

"Also, I am a worker in the mineral lode at Amarilla forest, but we have never received any supply from the city for almost two weeks. I think it is definitely related to the young lady missing case."

After gained enough information from the protesters, William come to the conclusion that the assailant

has been cut the supply line in the middle way of the goods' delivery.

"Old master, there is a young man with a letter want to deliver it to you, he said that you are the only one to tear and read the letter. Here is the letter. I have checked for the poison already." A guard brought a letter from William Max forward.

After tearing the letter and look through the content, the old man stands up immediately.
