In the dark and humid warehouse, there was a window near where Ruan Zhiyin was standing. Across from her, sitting on a sofa backlit by the window, sat a sturdy middle-aged man.

The man held a black cellphone in his hand and would look down at it from time to time.

Feng Qian glanced over at her and although his voice was hoarse, his tone was still polite: "Miss Ruan, I'm sorry for inviting you here in this way. But she said that you were Qin Jue's fiancee?"

Ruan Zhiyin glanced at Lin Jingfei, whose mouth was sealed shut by a strip of tape and quietly thought about the current situation.

She obviously did not know that she could ask for help and she could not use gestures to convey her messages.
