“Brother-in-law, why are you so agitated?”

Ji Yijun calmly looked at Lin Cheng and called him with the rarely used term “Brother in law.”

“This can be considered my fault. When Grandpa Ruan talked about the will with me, I felt that us, as elders, should not take things from the younger generation.”

“So I simply suggested to Uncle Ruan, the inheritance should not consider the two of us. We are old, we can survive with our own powers, right?”

This was the first time that Ruan Zhiyin had seen Ji Yijun say words that could pierce people’s hearts like this. If they were talking about age. Then Ji Yijun was not yet 40 and Lin Cheng who was already over 50 could not be considered the same.

As for his decision to give up his inheritance, Ruan Zhiyin was not surprised. Ji Yijun had moved out of the Ruan family after he came of age. Even after Ruan Shengwen’s death, he did not interfere with the Ruan Company’s affairs and did not appear to have much interest in the Ruan Company.

Lin Cheng clenched his first. His face was flushed, he frowned and retorted. “But Jingfei is also his granddaughter. How can he leave 30% of his shares to that girl.”

Ji Yijun smiled and laughed gently: “Lin Cheng, did you forget? Out of Grandpa Ruan’s 40% of shares 25% were left by Brother Shengwen, they were supposed to go to Yinyin anyways.”

This was the same reasoning as Ruan Lingfang, who had left her 10% of shares to her daughter Lin Jingfei.

The Ruan Company was grown by Ruan Shengwen when he was alive. When Grandpa Ruan wanted to handover his company to his son, he also transferred a set of shares to his daughters as well.

However, because Ruan Shengwen and his wife passed away before Ruan Zhiyin had returned to the Ruan family, the person who could inherit it was Grandpa Ruan.

So other than the 25% from Ruan Shengwen, Grandpa Ruan had divided the remaining 15% between Ruan Zhiyin and the people in her generation. You could not say he was being biased.

Lin Cheng was still unwilling to acknowledge the will and pointed at Cheng Yuelin and frowned. “He is just an outsider though, how can Grandpa Ruan…”

“Lin Cheng, Cheng Yuelin is my husband, he is not an outsider.” Ruan Zhiyin opened her mouth to cut off Lin Cheng’s words. She laughed coldly. “If he is an outsider, then what do you, the one who had an illegitimate son while you were still married count as?”

“If you have the time to throw a tantrum here, why don’t you find a retreat path for the Lin family. Do you really think that you would always be able to sit peacefully in that CEO position?”

Lin Cheng silently snorted. “Ruan Zhiyin don’t forget, I still have 10% nominee shares. Even if you want to drag me down, you still need the other stockholders to agree.”

Even if he was not about to get any shares, it was not as though he had nothing. Lin Cheng had been deeply involved with the other shareholders for many years and these people would not be easily swayed to Ruan Zhiyin’s side.

If he could provide enough benefits, he would be able to privately come to a deal with the other shareholders. Than he would be able to get back on top.

“Bring you down?” Ruan Zhiyin laughed and shook her head. “Lin Cheng, if you did not have the option to be the CEO, then would I even need to waste any energy into dragging you down?”

“What do you mean?” Lin Cheng frowned and looked at her.

“What I mean is that you have been misappropriating the company’s funds and damaging the company’s interests. I have the right to file a lawsuit against you.”

Lin Cheng looked as though he finally calmed down and laughed lightly before calmly looking at her: “Ruan Zhiyin, if you want to threaten me, you need to have evidence.”

“Yinyin, Uncle did not do anything that would harm the company’s interests.”

Anything that had to do with him would have all been washed clean by the internal financial statements in the Ruan company.

Ruan Zhiyin would not be able to dig anything out.

This was something Lin Cheng was not afraid of.

“Really?” Ruan Zhiyin lowered her gaze and took a set of documents out of her bag and passed it to Lin Cheng. “Then how about you take a look. Would these be enough?”

“You violated the restriction clause in the overseas medical cooperation project with T&D and transferred funds from the cooperation project into an overseas account. This is a breach of contract. And I, in the capacity of a shareholder of T&D will formally file a lawsuit against you.”

If he was convicted, Lin Cheng would spend at least five years in jail.

Even if he planned to strike deals with the other shareholders, he would not be able to do it. This was her long reserved backup plan.

Realising this, Lin Cheng raised his head in shock. “The previous medical cooperation case, did you deliberately lead me into this trap?”

Even though Ruan Zhiyin had participated in T&D’s affairs when it was founded, she had withdrawn from it later.

Lin Cheng did not think that Qin Jue would actually give 30% of shares to Ruan Zhiyin. With this amount of shares, Qin Jue was just a substitute standing at the front of the company!

“Lin Cheng, you can’t always blame others. You are too greedy.”

“Fine, Qin Jue actually gave 30% of the shares to you. He must have a deep love you you.” Lin Cheng grit his teeth and suddenly turned to look at Cheng Yuelin and said. “Is President Cheng not afraid that he will be cheated on?”

Cheng Yuelin looked at the materials in Lin Cheng’s hand and slowly raised an eyebrow.

“Oh?” He laughed and refuted. “What would I be scared of? These shares…”

Halfway through his words, Cheng Yuelin looked at Ruan Zhiyin and his voice was calm. “Are just the common property of us husband and wife.”

“Don’t you think so, Yinyin?”

Lin Cheng: “…”
