"Who are you? And why are you attacking us?!"

The villain smiled sadistically and answered, "You can call me 'Muscular', and why I am attacking you?"

Muscular's smile grew even wider by the end, "Because I simply want to kill."

The hero duo's faces became extremely dark hearing his answer. The villain in front of them was a very dangerous individual. They couldn't let him get away, otherwise horrible things would happen to the villagers.

Coming to this conclusion, they fought with even more vigor. Regrettably, Muscular wasn't your usual run-of-the-mill villain.

His Quirk [Muscle Augmentation] was extremely formidable. It allowed him to augment his power and speed to the point where even his muscles fibers couldn't be contained by his skin anymore. It also granted him an incredible defense.

You wouldn't be exactly wrong if you called him a weaker version of All Might.

As such, the heroes had a really hard time fighting against him. Strangely though, Muscular seemed either not to be going all-out currently, or his control over his Quirk was still not perfect, yet.

The fight already went on for over twenty minutes and it was getting more and more disadvantageous for the heroes. Both sides already acc.u.mulated many injuries. Obviously, the hero duo received more injuries than Muscular due to his immense defensive capability.

*Pant* *Pant*

"We can't go on like this anymore.. We have to attack him with our strongest attack right now, otherwise it'll be too late.." the hero duo was already near exhaustion and decided to use their strongest attack to either defeat him or to injure him heavily enough to drive him away.

Muscular immediately saw through their intention and also decided to end it. His whole body started to get covered in augmented muscle fibers. His appearance became even more menacing to look at, and his strength and defense increased even further.

The Water Hose duo paled seeing this. Despair started to fill their hearts. They were sure that even with their strongest attack, it won't be enough to defeat him.

Realizing this, tears started to flow down their faces.

They thought of their only child and how he would be growing up parentless. He was only 3 years old. Guilt and sadness, that's what they felt at this moment.

But despite that, they were still heroes.

If they couldn't stop him here, the innocent villagers behind them will all be killed. They gritted their teeth and prepared their strongest attacks.

"WAHAHAHA!!!" Muscular was manically laughing at the sight of the despairing heroes.

He loved to see this kind of expression the most. It was thrilling for him and the reason he enjoyed killing so much. Laughing mockingly, he rushed towards the hero duo with the intention to kill.

The hero duo was ready to respond with their own attack, but they didn't have any expectation whatsoever that they could survive this clash. Tears were still pouring down their eyes.

'Sorry.. We are so sorry, Kota..'

Even before their impending doom, their thoughts were filled with their only child.

"WATER BLAST CANNON!!!"

"DIE!!!!"

The couple already closed their eyes. They knew that their attack would at best heavily injure him, but won't be enough to completely defeat him. On the other hand, the villain's attack would definitely connect and kill them.

All they could do was to wait for their death.

"HAA!"

However, suddenly, they heard a powerful unknown voice behind them and immediately shot their eyes open. The first thought in their minds was that a villager was still in the vicinity of this battlefield and tried to interfere in the fight.

However, when they actually opened their eyes, they were completely stunned.

All they could see was a ball of light flying towards the villain and blasting him away, therefore stopping his attack. Though, their last attack also didn't connect with Muscular due to the sudden interference.

They instantly turned around to see who had attacked the villain, and they were stunned to see a young handsome boy flying towards them and landing right next to them.

"Are you alright?" asked the newly emerged boy.

'Huu~, luckily, I made it in time. But damn, how coincidental is it that this village was where the hero duo, Water Hose, got killed by the future infamous A-rank villain Muscular. Fortunately, I was near the village, otherwise..'

Thinking about the kid who began to loathe heroes because of this incident, I sighed in relief that I got the opportunity to change it.

I landed right next to the two heroes and asked, "Are you alright?"

At first, they looked blankly at me without immediately replying back, but after a few seconds, they snapped out of their dazes and loudly yelled at me, "OI, LEAVE! W-what are you doing here?! *Cough* *Cough* There is a really dangerous villain here, r-run away!"

The corner of my mouth couldn't help but twitch a little bit hearing this, because they clearly forgot that I was the one who blasted Muscular away and rescued them a moment ago.

"Relax, I saw you were in danger and thought you needed some help. You are clearly on the verge of collapsing. Let me handle the villain." I said casually.

"..."

They couldn't respond at first but then they finally remembered the ball of light that blasted Muscular away and saved them. Their mouths opened wide and their eyes blinked repeatedly in sheer surprise.

"Y-you-.."

"Yes, I was the one who saved you. You're clearly not able to fight anymore, so let me take over."

"No! He is too dangerous.. *Cough*.. and too strong for you. Y-you seem like you're in high school, it's way too early for you to.. *Cough* *Cough* ..risk your life in this fight for us." the couple vehemently refused my help.

"I'm still in middle school, by the way, and don't worry, I'm strong. Either way, you're not really in the condition to refuse my help. You will clearly be killed if you still want to fight him. Just stand back and call the police or something, I'll take care of the villain."

After I said that, I didn't give them any chance to reply and rushed towards the villain. It would be my first real fight against a villain, and above all, it was the villain Muscular..

'I must admit that he seems very strong and dangerous, just from the aura he gives off, and I'm also not in top-shape right now after having fought the Wolf King. However, I still won't lose in my first unofficial hero debut.' I grinned at the end of my thoughts.

*Rumble*

Muscular stood up from all the debris around him with an extremely scary and angry expression on his face.

"WHO??!!" he thunderously roared in fury.

"That would be me, Bakugou's illegitimate father."

"What???"

"Nothing.."

His eyes became extremely scary and his bloodl.u.s.t rose even further when he laid his eyes on me.

'I should probably take this more seriously..'

Having been attacked by a brat, Muscular was naturally furious and immediately rushed towards me with madness clearly reflecting in his eyes, and threw a heavy punch at my face.

I quickly reacted and just ducked beneath it and immediately counterattacked with an uppercut, which managed to lift him a little bit off the ground. I then followed it up with a strong punch coated in Ki at his c.h.e.s.t, which managed to blow him a few meters away.

Though, it still wasn't near enough to knock him out, so I continued my assault at him. I instantly appeared behind him and blasted several energy balls at him.

Although I was kinda exhausted after everything that happened today, my stamina was still enough for this battle.

The muscle fibers, which were coating his body, tremendously boosted his defense, so it was quite hard for me to seriously injure him with just punches and energy balls.

The fight went on for several more minutes. Muscular acc.u.mulated more and more injuries while I came out nearly unscathed in almost all of the confrontations. This was largely due to my overwhelming speed which allowed me to evade the majority of his attacks at the last second.

Additionally, I played it smart and constantly switched between close combat and long-range attacks by shooting energy beams at him.

I still received some injuries though, even if they were only minor ones.

However, from the hero duo's point of view, it looked like I struggled a lot in the fight and received many injuries, even though the majority of my injuries stemmed from my earlier battle with the Wolf King..

They were screaming at me and urging me to escape. They were scared and felt guilty to let such a young boy fight in their stead. They tried to drag their exhausted and injured body to us, hoping to create an opportunity for me to escape.

*Sigh*

I really had to commend them for their bravery to sacrifice themselves just to allow me to live. Although, it wasn't really necessary but I still appreciated it very much, especially because I knew that they had a child waiting for them at home.

I decided not to drag this out anymore, just so they didn't have to worry about my safety any longer.

I powered up my power and decided to fight more seriously.

Previously, I still hesitated to use lethal attacks against another human, but I changed and steeled my mind now because I realized that I shouldn't show leniency towards that kind of human sc.u.m who enjoyed killing innocent people.

My aura rose sharply and although Muscular couldn't see or sense my aura, he still felt the change. He felt serious danger coming from me.

I just looked at him and raised my index finger at him.

"Death Beam."

A small, thin, very fast and concentrated laser-like beam of Ki shot out from my index finger, which barreled down and pierced through his body. It was one of my most lethal attacks and was also the signature technique of 'Frieza'.

I shot several Death Beams at him, piercing his arms and legs to render him unable to fight. Of course, I didn't aim at his vital points. I didn't want to be labeled as a murderer before I even became a Pro Hero.

"AHHHH" Muscular screamed loudly in pain.

His body was covered in blood and his own sweat. His eyes became bloodshot and, just like the beasts I previously fought, he lost the last bit of his rationality and only wanted to tear me apart.

Seeing this, I remained unperturbed.

I responded calmly at his attempt to attack me and simply dodged his attacks and kept my distance from him while also constantly shooting more beams at him.

He couldn't even seriously injure me before he was this heavily injured, so naturally he wasn't able to do it now, now that he was just a lamb waiting to be slaughtered..

Oops, wrong analogy..

With my superior movement speed, as well as my various strong attacks, I was easily able to keep him at bay while also aggravating his injuries the longer the battle went on.

And after several minutes of his mindless rampage, he finally couldn't take it anymore and collapsed on the ground.

Blood flowed down from all the wounds I had inflicted on him..
