My Life In Blue Exorcist

(Sorry for uploading a day late. Man I really suck at following a schedule but there's a reason for my tardiness. If you consider this as a reason.

So Sunday night my parents were like 'You know what would be a great idea? Going to the beach' even though they're aware that their children are busy finishing off their homework, are revising or are just busy (haven't told them about being a webauthor, not that they care much about it.

So we went to the beach yesterday, left the house at 12:30, (i may have woken up late) got to the beach at 2 something but had to wait about an hour in a que to park the car since the parking lot was packed.

We got their and my 3 years old sister needed to go to the toilet and there was another que. That lasted for like 30 minutes and my parents are already pissed (And if you haven't seen asian parents, when they get pissed just be prepared for swearing cursing and yourself probably being included in the crossfire.

luckily they had a short argument since they were wary of the public and we went to the beach. Finally!

Well, I got disappointed. The beaches in anime look so much better. Damn 2D worlds, why don't you exist irl!. I swear there was more rocks than sand there! Since everything was last minute, we didn't even get any swimming trunks or anything so we went to the ocean in normal, expandable clothes.

That was all fun and all, swimming for bit and throwing water at my brother, but the journey back was a nightmare. The water rose so we couldn't see the floor properly which was full of broken shells and rocks. We somehow walked about a mile? Well, it was like an hour away from the beach or something. Anyway, the journey back was painful. the floor was covered in fist sized rocks that hurt like a mother f.u.c.ker. Since my clothes were wet, I kept on falling over, often onto rocks.

When I finally got out, after an hour, and I examined my body to see blood and cuts on both my feet and hands. Luckily I didn't wear any shorts else my knees would have been f.u.c.k.e.d as well.

When we got home at 8, I took a shower and fell asleep for 12 hours.

Looking at the bright size, I guess I know what to have in the beach scene of the fanfic but f.u.c.k me that lesson was painful to learn.

Sorry to you preoccupied with my story, now onto the main story.)

Well, we have a small issue now.

The beds a bit small to house the three of us. We can still carry on sleeping on the same bed but I have a strange feeling that the number of familiars are gonna grow.

Oh well, if they grow then I'll just have to move out to another room with them. Maybe I can get Mephisto to renovate one of the room?

(Rin): "Well it's getting late, let's sleep."

(Kuro and Midori): "Suure!"

The two of them are really tired. It's only past 10 but I guess kids get tired easily.

We get to bed after changing and go to sleep. I have Kuro sleeping at the right of me and Midori sleeping in between me and Kuro.

(Rin): "Don't get squished, okay?"

I smile at Midori before turning the lights off and we sleep.

-The next day-

I wake up at 6 and get rid of my morning breath with my flames. Looks like theres no strange dream this time.

I look at Yukio's bed and see that its neat and tidy. Haah, he's already giving me a headache.

I make sure not to wake up Midori and Kuro and head to the toilet. After doing my business I headed to the kitchen where I make the lunch boxes.

But when I went to the kitchen, I couldn't see nor sense Ukobach. Hmm, a day off?

I look around the kitchen and stop when I see a letter. It says:

(Ukobach): "Sorry rin but i can't make you any breakfast for today. My wife is going to labour soon so I'm taking a short break from work. Sorry for the inconvenience but this is really important. your friend, Ukobach."

Wait this guy has a wife?! And she's in labour?! I think I need a real good talk to Ukobach when he gets back. Like seriously, the guy has a wife and is gonna be a father! But he didn't even mention this till now. I feel heart broken.

Okay, all jokes aside, I wish the guy talked to me about this, face to face, instead of just leaving a letter. I mean, It looks like some kind of resignation form afterall.

(Rin): "Morning Kasamugi-senpai, is it possible to meet you at the club this morning?"

(Kasamugi): "Haaahhh, morning Rin. Sure."

I call Kasamugi to meet up and he sleepily yawns his answer. I hope he doesn't forget.

I begin to make breakfast and the lunch boxes by myself. When I finished I stored the lunch boxes at the corner of the room before going to wake up Midori and Kuro. It's almost half past 7 and lessons starts at half past 8.

(Rin): "Wake up sleepy heads."

(Midori and Kuro): "Mornniiing."

I gently patted their heads as I stir them awake. They both have drool on their faces and Kuro's bed hair makes them look so cute!

(Rin): "Come on get up, the food will get cold the longer you guys take and make sure to brush your teeth properly."

They finally wake up once I entice them with food. These guys love food, huh. I guess that's one thing we have in common.

I helped Kuro get changed out of his Pj's and into some casual clothes.

Too bad I couldn't train today but cooking for once isn't that bad. I should really gets some more cooking books.

(Rin): "Once you guys are done, get ready, we're going out."

(Midori): "But don't we have to go to School?"

(Rin): "Yeah but with Ukobach going home for a few days, we need to have a place for Kuro to stay and I want you to keep him company."

I could let them stay here, but I feel like they'll be bored to death. I guess I could get them to watch anime but I don't want them to become a NEET. I guess this is a worry a single father must struggle with.

(Rin): "Don't worry, I'm dropping you guys in the Club room. I'm sure Kasamugi-senpai will allow it."

I get the feeling that he's similar to Mephisto, in terms of finding someone or something interesting. If that's the case he might allow us using the clubroom for them to temporarily stay if I mention the servant pact or something.

We walked out of the dorm after getting ready. Kuro's getting better at walking but prefers to hold my hand and Midori is still the same, sitting on my head.

we had a peaceful walk to the School where we saw the other students in the campus. They see me walking with Kuro but don't say anything since they're not familiar with me.

My cliche senses are telling me rumours are gonna come out of this. Oh boy.

We got to the school buildings entrance, under the stares of the other students. I'm getting better at ignoring them, but seriously? This is too much.

(Yanno): "Hey Rin, what's up?"

(Rin): "Nothing much."

Yanno greets me as he sees me enter the academy. He then turns to Kuro and questions.

(Yanno): "Who's the kid?"

(Rin): "I'll tell you later. Let's head to the club room first."

We headed to the clubroom and met Kasamugi-senpai there.

(Kasamugi): "Hey Rin, Yanno, what's up?"

Kasamugi-senpai greets us with his hair messier than normal. Hmm, I wonder if he sleeps in the clubroom? This is an anime world so i guess stuff like that happens?

(Rin): "Nothing much, but I have a favour to ask. Do you think i can leave these two in the clubroom for a while?"

Since the clubroom is full of entertainment stuff, I thought it'd be a good idea to let the two enjoy themselves here for a while.

(Kasamugi): "Oh? And who's the kid? While I'm at it what's your goblins name?"

I guess Midori's never introduced himself to the club members, huh. Well I guess he usually just sleeps when its after school hours.

(Rin): "The kid holding me is Kuro Okumura and the goblin on my head is Midori Okumura. They're my kids."

(Kasamugi and Yanno): "Huh?"

(Rin): "Relax. They're my familiars that I want to adopt."

They both look flabbergasted when I said that, but kasamugi-senpai recovers quick and laughs it off.

(Kasamugi): "Hahaha, you're always full of surprises aren't cha? Well both you guys can call me Uncle Kasamugi. I hope we get along."

He gives them a warm smile before allowing them to stay in the clubroom. looks like this is a success.

(Kuro and Midori): "Yes!"

(Yanno): "But who's Midori Okumura?"

Yanno looks at me in doubt as he says that. Which reminds me.

(Rin): "Before that, Yanno, have you been taking those eye drops you got from your parents?"

It's been on my mind on what Yanno's parents are hiding. Is Yanno actually a human or is his parents hiding something else from him like how father fujimoto and the priest hid the existence of Demons from Rin.

(Yanno): "Since you've mentioned that you're a Demon and the amazing display you gave during PE, I've been dying to see what Demons actually look like! So I haven't been taking the eyedrops, although I'm a bit afraid on how my parents will react."

Hmm, If that's the case I need to monitor Yanno in case something happens. I don't want my friend to be endangered just by being curious of Demons. If he's like me, then he will be hunted down by both Demons and Exorcist. Haaah, why can't this world be as simple as the original?

(Rin): "Midori's my familiar. A tamed Demon in nature but I treat him like my kid"

I give the brief information to Yanno. If the world ends up like how it was in the manga, then everyone in the world will be able see Demons. If that's the case then I might as well start recruiting the normal students that seem alright to help against the chaos.

(Rin): "Well, we'll be heading to the class now. You two make sure you behave yourselves and if you play on the consoles than pick a game thats pg-12 or lower."

Although they're much older than me, their mental age says otherwise so i don't want them to play some kind rated 18 games like GTA

I have some other problems with having them sit in the clubroom and play games for hours but I don't want them to stay in the dormroom and be bored to death. Haah, I guess I need to find the right balance for this kind of stuff.

(Rin): "When its lunch, I'll grab some food and we'll eat together. After that, I'll be back once schools finished for club activities. Then the three of us will go to the Cram School, okay?"

(Midori and Kuro): "Okay!"

I head patted both their heads and smiled at them before Kasamugi gives them two controllers and started talking.

(Kasamugi): "Wow! He does seem like a father figure. Well anyway, let's get you two a game you can play. How about minecraft?"

minecraft huh. I guess it's another game from mephy studios.

Yanno and I leave Kuro and Midori and head to the classroom.

(Yanno): "You finished the maths homework?"

(Rin): "Yeah yesterday. you?"

We had a short chat before our lesson started. We had Biology in the morning followed by home Economics and Maths.

Biology and Maths weren't that difficult to understand, just need to get used to the new words and equations that pops up every once in a while. Home Economics though, we had to make Apple Crumble. Looks like I got a treat for Kuro and Midori but I somehow convinced the teacher to make some more for the Club.

We had a break in between Home Economics and Maths so it's now lunch. I left Yanno in charge of the business once again and head back to the clubroom with the lunch boxes and the Apple Crumble.

When I entered the clubroom I see all the senior club members there, playing with Kuro and Midori, with Kuro sitting on Naneko's l.a.p and Midori on chelsea's l.a.p.

(Rin): "What's going on?"

I say that and quickly rotate me body to the left as I avoid a diagonal swing from akane. Seeing an opportunity, i i rotated my body and gave her a roundhouse kick which she blocks with the Bokken. I was ready for another attack but she breaks her stance and greets me with a smile.

(Akane): "Good afternoon! You're getting much better!"

Since she keeps on greeting me like this for the past week, I've been seeing some improvements on my control over the swords and close combat skills

(Rin): "You could at least let me put the food down before attacking me! You don't have to be so impatient for a fight."

(Akane): "Sorry Okurin."

(Rin): "Okurin?"

Huh? is that meant to be a combination of Okumura and Rin?

(Chelsea): "It's one of her habits. She has a liking to call people by nicknames with the combination of their names. She often calls me 'Apple-che'."

Chelsea greets me with a smile before telling me about Akane's habits, the person we're talking about seems to be squirming around in embarrassment from having her habit explained. She's cute when she's like this.

When I look around in the clubroom, I notice everyones eating their lunch with Kuro and Midori being fed by Naneko and Chelsea.

(Rin): "Do you guys always eat here for lunch?"

(Sorano): "Yeah since we keep on attracting attention wherever we go."

Sorano says that as she munches down on some ramen.

(Chelsea): "Aren't you the one who makes the biggest commotion? I mean your legacy is something every third year sports club members still fear to this day."

Chelsea goes on about Sorano's 'club wrecking' legacy which makes her red and slightly choke on her raman.

(Sorano): "Oh come on already! That was over a year ago and I just wanted to have some fun! It's not my fault I love sports."

She seems embarrassed at having such a dangerous nickname but she seems to enjoy sports a lot, huh.

(Rin): "Do you mind if you can help me out in that department? I suck at sports."

I've never been a sports person in my past life. In fact I was just a skinny bag of bones with nothing I excel at. This body, though, is much stronger than my old body but I can't control my physical strengths yet.

(Sorano): "Sure thing! I guess we'll start training for the upcoming sports day."

(Kuro and Midori): "What's Sports Day?"

(Rin): "Sports Day is an event where people in our school have a competition in a specific sports related activity."

I was in the process of handing out the food when I said that. They seem comfortable on the l.a.p.s of my senpai's so I didn't pick them up and eat my food whilst asking some questions about their day.

(Rin): "So what have you two been doing today?"

(Kuro): "We tried to build a house and mine in a cave but a Midori got killed by a creeper and I got shot to death by skeletons."

Kuro gives a blaming look to Midori and Midori responds

(Midori): "It's not my fault! I can't get used to the control's, okay?"

Seeing as these two might have a fight i gave them head pats.

(Rin): "Now, now, calm down, okay? Remember it's just a game and a game is meant to be for fun. You two can't blame each other for mistakes, just learn to grow from learning your lesson. Let's eat quick and i'll try and help you."

I calm the two down and we continued eating our food

(Naneko): "Wow, rIn, you really sound m.a.t.u.r.e when you said that. So spill the beans how did you get this cute furball."

As soon as we were finished with our lunch, Naneko-senpai asks me a question. it seems like she likes Kuro a lot as she's continuously hugging him. Hmm, why do I feel a little jealous about that?

(Rin): "You jealous? Well guess what? He's my son!."

(Naneko): "No! I want him to be my kid brother!"

We joke around a bit with our 'we love kuro' play until we got interrupted by Kirhime.

(Kirihime): "Excuse me, but is it true that you adopted these two as your kids."

Surprisingly, the one who breaks our little joke is Natsuno kirihime, The 'Ice Queen'. She gives me the expressionless look as she asks the question but her eyes looks at me with intrigue. I'd say out of everyone in the club, she's the one I don't talk to at all.

(Rin): "Yep, I adopted them yesterday. Well… it hasn't been official yet but I'll make it happen somehow."

(Kirihime): "That's good."

She gives me a small nod and a little smile when she turned her head. I wonder why she's happy about that?

(Rin): "Well let's play minecraft!."

We connected another controller to the playstation and I helped build the wooden house. But when it comes to the mobs, I'm not any better than Kuro and Midori. So we died quite a lot.

(Rin): "It's getting late, we need to head back to class else we'll get in trouble.

I headed to the changing room since my next lesson is P.E

-Sorano's Pov-

(Sorano): "Hey, Tsuno, what do you think of Rin? I've never seen you talk to someone on your own accord before."

I've been with Tsuno for a year now and I've never seen her interact with anyone unless they're the one who started the conversation. Wait. Don't tell me my cute Tsuno has fallen in love! I don't know what to do, as her friend, I have to support her but I don't want to give my Tsuno to Rin, even if he seems like a nice kid..

(Kirihime): "He gives off a unique aura. I can sense something like two aura's coming from his body, but only briefly."

(Sorano): "You sure you're not interested in him~."

I poked of Tsuno's cheeks and received a cold "hmph". I guess she doesn't deny being interested, just not the way I think. Interesting...

-Rin's Pov-

Its P.E right now and I think it's my least favourite subject. Not that I'm bad athletically, it's just... I can't control my physical strength.

(Yanno): "Rin, pass the ball!"

(Male Student): "Oh boy. Can't wait to see this again."

Comments like that always happen whenever I do something. The reason for that is because i either send the ball flying back to the school or I put not enough power and it gets easily taken.

When i was trying to dribble, a guy tried to play dirty and kicked my legs. I didn't get hurt or anything but he crying on the floor holding his leg. I guess he got what he deserves but it made me remember that I can't really enjoy sports unless I can control my physical strength properly.

(RIn): "Here it comes!"

I kick the ball to Yanno and once again it gets sent straight to the campus. Great.

(Rin): "Sorry, sir, but could I do some keepy ups or something? I can't control how hard i can kick the ball."

(Teacher): "S-sure."

Seeing as I can't even do anything without injuring the students or sending the ball to mars, the teacher allows me to practise by myself. Haaah, another thing in need to get used to.

(Yanno): "Come on Rin, why the sad face?"

(Rin): "Don't act like you didn't witness the ball flying. I'm still not used to, well, controlling my strength and it's really putting me down."

Unless I can perfectly control my strength, this will serve me as a reminder that I'm a Demon. Haah, why does anime have to make the protagonist have such a troubled life! I want to use School as a way to get away from, well, the Exorcist world but now that doesn't seem that easy to do.

(Yanno): "Really? But I think it's amazing how you have so much energy in your body. We ran l.a.p.s on the first P.E lesson for an hour and you were the only one who was running ahead without sweating."

Hey I'm not a show off. I just really liked how i can run without feeling tired or have c.h.e.s.t pains, okay?

(Rin): "I guess you're right... but I don't want anyone breaking a bone if they accidentally hits me."

I guess I need to do some physically control training from now on.

(Teacher): "Okay that's it! Get changed before your next lesson starts!"

After we changed we had english. Great a boring subject. It's not that I'm bad at it that makes it boring, it's just that it's so annoying to learn basic english!

(Yanno):"Wake up Rin. Lessons over."

Yanno shakes my shoulder making me wake up. I dozed off again, huh.

(Yanno): "Seriously, it amazes how you're good at english but suck at japanese."

(Rin): "Hey, I suck at remembering symbols, okay? I guess I just have a natural calling for english or something."

There's no point in telling anyone I'm a reincarnator from england, plus I want to forget that life.

We headed to the clubroom talking about minor stuff about our teachers or what we learned until..

(Kuro and Midori): "Dad!"

... I got tackled by both Kuro and Midori, who both greeted me with their smiles.

(Rin): "I'm back again. You two been behaving?"

(Kuro and Midori): "Yes!"

(Yanno): "It's still surprises me that you adopted kids."

(Rin): "Well get used to it. Something tells me that the numbers are going to grow."

(Kasamugi): "Have you considered taking them to the True Cross Elementary School? If you talk to the Principal I'm sure you can make the arrangements"

Elementary school, huh. Sounds like a good idea.

(Rin): "what's wrong Midori? You seem down."

I noticed a small frown on Midori's face when Kasamugi-senpai talked about Elementary School. I wonder what's up?

(Midori): "It's not fair! Kuro gets to have a human form and gets to enjoy a normal life! I can't even hold my controller properly nor can I see the screen properly because of my height. It's not fair!"

Midori has a small tantrum as he says that. I give him a head pat and calm him down.

(Rin): "Don't worry about that, little guy. If you want to have a human form, I think we can ask Yoru-sensei for help. After all he's a demon as well."

(Midori): "Okay."

Midori is still a bit down but it looks like he's calmed down. Alright this might give him motivation to take training seriously.

I've read that it's possible for low level Demons to rank up high level Demons and gain a human form, though using my knowledge of the manga, that rule doesn't seem to be the case for the demon kings since they were born with immense powers that their bodies can't handle or get used to the strain and eventually crumbles under the pressure.

(Kasamugi): "Ok, enough of your father-son moment, let's get the Culture Club on road now."

Kasamugi interrupts my train of thoughts with his sudden talk of the Culture Club. Looks like we're doing something different.

(Kasamugi): "So as this is the Culture Club, I, the Club President, will tell you of our new activity. From now on each individual will be making an Art Piece and the winner gets tickets the next Plus Ultra Concert."

Kasamugi tells us the activity is about Art. Hmm, like anything we deem fit? But as soon as he mentioned the tickets the Plus Ultra Concert the entire clubroom suddenly got serious.

(Rin): "What's Plus Ultra?"

Someone seems to be a My Hero Academia fan.

(Yanno): "Have you been under a rock? They're an uprising rock band that's been popular with the people in school lately. How did you get these tickets Kasamugi-senpai? The tickets were sold out in under an hour."

(Kasamugi): "The club president has his ways. Anyway, let's start our art projects now! The deadline is at the end of the week. Good luck everyone!"

Hearing Kasamugi-senpai sudden declaration, the senior club members except for Kirihime left the room running somewhere, probably getting supplies, leaving the first years, Kuro and Midori behind.

(Rin): "Are they always this energetic?"

Seriously, they don't sound like any of the rumours. I guess rumours take things out of context to the extremes, huh.

(Kirihime): "When rewards like those are at stake, they'll even climb Mount Fuji, let alone have an art competition."

I wasn't expecting an answer but surprisingly Kirihime answered my question. Seriously? I wonder if it's worth it though.

(Rin): "Do you guys have any idea on what you're gonna make?"

(Yanno): "I think I have an idea."

(Amethyst): "I'm not really interested but I'll think of something."

(Kirihime): "I'll manage."

They all give me their individual answers. Question is: what am i gonna make? I've done art in the first year of secondary but that was years ago and I was never good at it.

(Rin): "I'll think of something to at least make an effort. I'll probably need you two''s help when it's needed."

I head patted Kuro and Midori but stop when I noticed Kirihime's strange stare. When I made eye contact with her, she casually looks away. I wonder what's going on in her head?

(Rin): "I'll be back in a while. I gotta deal with some stuff."

I was hoping to hang out in the clubroom but since the club members are out and they don't look like they're coming back, I decided to head to Mephisto's office for enrolling Kuro and potentially Midori.

(Door-kun): Knock* knock*

(Mephisto): "Enter~!"

I entered Mephisto's office after knocking on it twice. For once it seems like he's doing work.

(Mephisto): "And to what do I owe the p.l.e.a.s.u.r.e, Rin?"

(Rin): "Question: Is it possible for Midori, my Familiar, to have a human form?"

I get straight to the point since I don't want to be here for too long.

(Mephisto): "Straight to the point as always. Yes it's possible for a low level like your goblin to have a human form but it requires both a big stimulus and discipline for that to happen. Ask Yoru and he'll probably help."

(Rin): "And is it possible for you to enroll both Midori and Kuro once Midori has a human form? I want the two of them to have a regular life."

Honestly, seeing Midori's sad face really affected me. I don't want to see that again.

(Mephisto): "Of course it's possible~! However creating the false doc.u.ments for your familiars are gonna take some effort. Because of that I want to send you to your first mission. Even though you don't have the Exorcist Qualification for a mission, you're current strength is stronger than the average Exorcist. Put your flames in the mixture and you'd be a challenge for upper 1st class exorcist and even the arc knights. That is if you aim to kill them."

Mepshito gives me a disgusting smile at the end of his sentence. What do you have in mind you filthy snake?

(Rin): "Brief me on the mission. Then we talk."

I really hate manipulative people, even though I realise that I'm slowly becoming one when I wanted to use shiemi against the order and eventually rope Yanno into my organisation. Haah, I hope I don't get used to it.

(Mephisto): "Glad to see you're on board~! The mission entails on you checking out on any remnants of a terrorist group that attacked the academy a few weeks ago. I've received a report that a few remnants of the group are hiding in an abandoned house at the north side of the city. The remnants are assumed to consist of Humans and Demons. If they approach you or if you deem it fit, you have permission to subdue them or kill them."

A terrorist group, huh. Ok, what's this situation! You telling me I need to be wary of another group that probably isn't related to the Illuminati. Great...

(Rin): "What the groups name?"

I need to at least know what I'm dealing with.

(Mephisto): "The group calls themselves 'Glps Ewg'. A strange name if you ask me but it was left behind by its members before they committed their suicidal attacks."

(Rin): "Don't you think this might be too much for a 15 year old?"

(Mephisto): "Yes but that's only if you were an ordinary 15 year old, Son of Satan. If you want what you want then you must do what I say. Don't get c.o.c.ky now that you're able to control a small part of your power. How you are right now, any of the Kings are able to kill you, albeit some with more difficulty than others."

Mephisto seems to be in an impatient mood today, I guess even he has some stressful days. A terrorist group, huh… Just how different is this world than the original?
