My Life In Blue Exorcist

-Noriko's Pov-

Rin really is full of surprises, being able to find out why Izumo was in such a bad mood, arrange a study session to help me with the course and he even adopted a familiar as his son! He's so cute as well!

(Izumo): "I can't believe that Rin, bringing a kid to Cram School and saying its his son. What does he think this is? A place to flirt around and bring kids to play?"

We left the classroom after Rin ran in a hurry, in which Izumo started the conversation immediately afterwards.

(Noriko): "Oh? But weren't you happy when Rin called you by your first name? I think he's the first boy that talks to you casually and friendly."

Izumo becomes shaken when I said that. I'm aware that Izumo gives off a bad first impression but she's actually a really nice person. I only wish that she can lose the stubborn personality of hers and enjoys her life a little bit more.

(Izumo): "I-it's not like that! I've definitely been able to hold a conversation with boys before."

Izumo pretends to be composed again but I can still see her red face. Hehe, she's cute as well.

(Shiemi): "Umm... Where exactly are we going?"

Shiemi came with us after I convinced Izumo to let her join. Right now we're going to a cafeteria to get a drink.

Izumo doesn't seem to like her but Shiemi doesn't seem to mind. Oh dear, I hope this isn't due to jealousy.

(Noriko): "We're going to a cafeteria to get a drink. You don't have anywhere to go, do you?"

(Shiemi): "No, I-i don't!"

Even shiemi is cute with her stuttering. It made me remember when we first met Rin. He was so nervous when he first introduced himself. He's kinda cute as well. Like a child.

(Noriko): "Shiemi, what do you think about Rin? You seem close to him."

I'm curious of their relationship. When he's dealing with Shiemi or Izumo he speaks with familiarity but with me it's a bit different. I guess its my imagination.

(Shiemi): "I-i want to be friends with Rin. He saved me when I was possessed by a Demon. I wasn't able to walk due to the demon possessing my legs. They kept on getting worse to the point where I couldn't move them at all. Rin saved me and made me remember my old dream of searching for the Garden of Amahara and since then I've wanted to get close to him."

Shiemi says that with enthusiasm and with star struck eyes. I guess she adores Rin but like Izumo she doesn't know of it. What a handful. Oh Well, the only thing I can do is support them and console them if things don't work out.

(Noriko): "Isn't the Garden of Amahara a place where God gathered all the Flora of the world? You sure like to aim high don't you."

I laugh a little at high her dreams are. I wish i had something to aim for like her.

(Izumo): "Pfft, you for real? The Garden of Amahara doesn't exist, it's just a fairytale to get kids leaving the house."

Izumo laughs at what Shiemi says. Even if it doesn't exist, there's no reason to shut her down like that.

(Shiemi): "I'm aware it's a fairytale but I can only hope, can't I? I'm sure it'll be a lot of fun to go around the world with Rin."

Shiemi says that with a big smile on her face. Yare yare, is she aware that what she says sounds like she wants to be with Rin even after schools finished.

Oh well, she's still cute even though she's a bit ditzy.

(Noriko): "Izumo, why don't you give Shiemi that manga you wanted me to read? You know I'm not a big fan of shoujo romance manga's but why don't you give Shiemi some to read?"

(Izumo): "Uh... sure."

I enjoy romance and comedy series rather than shoujo. I dunno, i find it interesting to see the story from a boy's perspective rather than a girls perspective.

I hope this'll be enough for them to start having a normal conversation with each other.

I wonder how Rin is gonna deal with these two. He better not play with their emotions.

(Izumo): "What drinks do you want?"

We finally made it to the cafe after talking for a while. It's a little packed but there's still enough space for the three of us.

(Noriko): "I think I'll have Passion Fruit Bubble Tea."

We found out yesterday that this place sells Bubble Tea. When we tried it yesterday, we immediately fell in love, we both tried strawberry and it was good.

(Izumo): "I think I'll have mango this time, what about you Shiemi?"

Shiemi wasn't expecting to get asked by Izumo so she stutters what she says.

(Shiemi): "I-I couldn't, I don't have any money on me."

(Izumo): "Stop being such a stick in the mud. I'm paying this one time, okay? So what drink do you want?"

Izumo seems to be warming up to Shiemi a little. Good. Looks like talking about that manga helped improved Izumo impression on Shiemi.

(Shiemi): "Then I'll have what you're getting... If that's fine with you?"

(Izumo): "One passion fruit and two mango bubble tea please!"

Izumo quickly goes up to the lady and gives our orders before the que increases. We chat a bit more of our favourite manga's and hobbies before calling it a day. Phew, today was so much fun! Izumo doesn't like to admit it but she's happy as well.

I guess I owe Rin another thank you.

-Suguro Pov-

(Suguro): "Seriously, what's with that Okumura guy? He comes to Cram School and talks with the only female students on the first day of school and flirts with them since then. He then brings a kid to him to school and tells everyone he adopted him."

Tsk, why's a spoiled kid like that in the Cram School? If he wants to flirt around with girls, the normal school is a better place then there. Is he even serious with course? All I ever see him do is either talk to Kamiki and Paku or sleep in lessons.

(Shima): "Now, now, you need to relax a bit, bon. I think Okumura is a chill guy. We all can't keep up with someone like you who's such a m.a.s.o.c.h.i.s.t."

Shima, My childhood friend who dyed his hair pink after I dyed my hair blonde, spoke in the defense of Okumura. This guy...

(Suguro): "Yeah and your not any better. You haven't even opened you textbook nor have you even started memorising any of the sutras. Your aiming for aria aren't ya, so you need to start taking things seriously! And stop collecting contacts of every girl you see!"

Honestly it's bad enough that there's one Shima around, now I have to go to school with two? Luckily he seems less perverted than Shima who struggles to keep it in sometimes.

(Konekomaru): "Bon, you shouldn't think everyone is dedicated as you. I'm sure Okumura-san has a side he doesn't show at the Cram School so there's no point in complaining about it."

Konekomaru, my other childhood friend, defends Okumura as well. Both you too make it sound like he's the victim and I'm the bully.

(Suguro): "What do you mean? Weren't you the one who broke eye contact with Okumura when he looked at you?"

Don't think I didn't notice. You may try to reason with me but you're scared of him. Even if he seems like a nice person, he's a demon.

(Shima): "Still though, it's still comes as a surprise that Okumura and Sensei are related. Not only that, they're twins! They don't act or look like it though."

(Suguro): "Yeah, it's surprising to hear that as well...."

We heard Kamiki and Paku talk about it on Saturday, after class was over. No matter how I look at them I can't believe that they're related. wait...

(Suguro): "Wait, if they're related than does that mean Yukio's also a half Demon?"

(Shima): "I've been thinking of that as well. But come on, Bon, you can't judge a book by its cover. Both the Okumura's don't seem like bad people. You need to learn not all Demon's are bad. Prejudice is a bad thing and all."

Shima surprised me with his little speech. I guess I should stop thinking about this. Maybe he's actually a good guy that just happens to act like Shima.

(Shima): "Plus you got hot Demons with big racks showing up every once in a while. I'd love to meet a S.u.c.c.u.b.u.s or a lamia and smuggle between their jugs."

I change my mind. Hopefully he's better than Shima.

-Rin Pov-

Phew, that was a good spar.

Chelsea and I finished our spar and we made our way to Kuro and Midori.

(Yoru): "I gotta say, they ain't half bad, these kids. They can faintly sense they're Aura's. Looks like it's gonna take about a week for them to master it."

(Rin): "Well of course they're good. They're my kids after all. By the way, is this how you got a human form as well?"

I joke around a bit at the beginning but quickly go to my question since I'm a bit curious about Yoru. Everyone has a backstory I don't know and it's making me curious.

(Yoru): "... I was once a low level Demon, similar to a cat-sidhe but I had the ability to fly. Things happened and I became Mephisto's familiar and made a servant pact with him. I got stronger and finally got my human form. Though..."

Yoru starts talking about his past. He had the ability to fly? Similar to a Cat-sidhe? Mephisto's familiar and servant? I didn't think he had a past like that but his last words intrigued me.

(Yoru): "...nevermind. No reason to dwell on the past."

What was his reason to get stronger? To the point of gaining a human form?

(Rin): "So how do you two feel? You feel like you got any stronger?"

I tried changing the subject after seeing his face like that. I guess he's having bad memories.

(Kuro): "Yep, I can finally sense my own Aura now!"

(Midori): "Me too! I can finally become human soon!"

Seems like these two like this kind of training.

(Rin): "Lets head back to the dorm. Ukobach isn't there today so I need to make dinner. Hmm, it's already getting late, so lets run there."

Kuro seems to be getting better at walking but he prefers to walk on all fours instead. Doesn't that hurt his bones? When I asked, he said it feels more comfortable than painful so I just left him like that.

(Rin): "See you two later."

(Chelsea): "Take care and don't forget to make me something for tomorrow. The apple crumble was good."

(Rin): "Sure I'll make something for the club members again."

Seems like shes a fan of a cooking. Oh well, it's fun cooking and I don't mind the praises.

(Kuro and Midori): "Good bye, Uncle Yoru!"

Kuro and Midori say their good bye to Yoru. Pfft, uncle Yoru, the person in question is stunned by their way of calling him.

(Yoru): "You have some good kids...make sure you take good care of them..."

He gave a small smile before giving them both head pats and leaves the room. I guess I touched a s.e.n.s.i.t.i.v.e spot thanks to my curiosity.

(Rin): "Lets go, else dinner is going to be late today."

(Midori and Kuro): "Okay!"

They don't complain, probably because they noticed Yoru-sensei's mood. I wonder what I can do to make it up with him?

After we got out of the building we ran to the dorm room. Kuro had some difficulties at the beginning but slowly made improvements, Midori, on the other hand, seems to have gotten faster.

(Rin): "You two train some more in the training room and I'll call you two later once dinner is ready."

We got to the dormitory at 7:45 and I sent the two to the training room to work on their Demon Aura training.

After closing the door, I went to the kitchen and started making dinner. After a while Yukio show'd up and sat at one of the tables.

(Rin): "Hey, Yukio, how was work today?"

I started the conversation after a few minutes of silence. We haven't spoken since yesterday and I want to know what's been on his mind.

(Yukio): "I've been a bit busy lately. I've been going to missions dealing with some demons or requests from the civilians. After this I need to fill in a report to Sir Pheles and prepare for our class tomorrow."

I'm surprised Yukio is actually speaking to me about his work. In the manga he didn't seem to speak to like talking to Rin about his job or problems. I guess this is an improvement.

(Rin): "Man, works must suck. Oh I never told you that I made a little business in School. Yeah, it's mainly me making boxed lunches."

(Yukio): "Nii-san actually made a business? How you manage?"

Yukio's surprised at me, as his eyes become wider. He looks hilarious like that but I shouldn't say anything.

(Rin): "I got Yanno helping me whenever I need to go out. I've made quite a sum of money."

And if it wasn't for Mephisto than I would've made more. Oh well.

(Yukio): "I see you've been busy these last few days... How did you find the time to use your flames?"

Oh so he brought up my flames, huh. I thought I had to bring it up. Oh well, I guess it makes things easier on my behalf.

(Rin): "Mephisto got me a place to practise my flames and I got instructors to teach me how to use my swords and my Demon Aura."

I give my answer to Yukio as I put mixed vegetables with seasoning and rice in a non-stick pan with chopped onions and chicken already in. I'm making Omelette rice since I was in the mood for it. Since I'm making for four people I had to make for times the amount with four pans.

(Yukio): "Haah, what else have you been doing? You've been studying as well and going to Cram school. You're also going to start working at the supply shop. What else have you been hiding."

(Rin): "Well I'm aiming for all for all five meisters, I joined the culture club so I need to think of an idea for an art project and I adopted Kuro and Midori as my kids."

It never dawned on me how busy my schedule is. I guess it's because I'm a Demon that I can manage without too much fatigue.

(Yukio): "How is that you're actually more busy than I am."

Yukio takes off his glasses as he rubs his temples. I guess I just want to experience a 'normal' and relax. Unfortunately, those plans for relaxation are for next year since this years gonna be hectic.

(Rin): "Beats me. I guess it's because of my flames. I'm not going to hide the fact I'm Satan's son but I will hide it from everyone until I'm strong enough."

Yukio becomes silent after I said that. Shit, i forgot he has a strength complex.

(Yukio): "Than I'll have to make sure your safe when that happens. Should I help you with interacting with your other classmates? I can sense that Suguro has something against you."

So you noticed as well, huh. I honestly don't remember him having anything against demons but i guess manga and real life are two different things.

(Rin): "That'll be a big help. Here have it whilst its warm. I'll call Kuro and Midori."

(Yukio): "Thanks... Aniki."

I give yukio his food once I'm finished and made my way to the training room. As I entered the key I barely heard him call me Aniki. I guess this is what it's like to have a brother. Have a fight than forgive each other. Too bad things don't work out well for Rin and Yukio, at least where I stopped reading that is.

(Rin): "Foods ready!"

(Midori and Kuro): "Food!"

They charge to my gut as they give me a hug. These two have become a bit spoiled, haven't they?

(Rin): "Well let's go eat before the food gets cold."

(Kuro and Midori): "Sure!"

We quickly went to the cafeteria and had our dinner. If there's one thing I'm grateful for, its eating my food in silence. I've never liked eating in loud places since I like to think during these times.

After eating, I washed the dishes and I got an email. Great, its from Mephisto. Is it about the mission?

(Mephisto): 'Good evening, Okumura-kun. Sorry for earlier, my behaviour was not appropriate as I was dealing with some important paperwork. Anyway, the reason I'm messaging you is due to the mission I gave you this afternoon. I'd like you to go there right now and deal with the remnants as soon as possible. The location is xxxx. I wish you the best for your mission.

P.S you may want to borrow Okumura's sensei's key, though he might complain to you for taking the mission.

Any way, good luck from yours truly.'

Great. Why is this so last minute?!? He could've at least given me a day to prepare!

(Rin): "Oh well, better go now than later. F.u.c.k sake its 2 hours away by train!"

Is this Mephisto trying to annoy me? Haaah, better tell Yukio then.

(Rin): "Yo, Yukio, can I borrow your key to the dorm? Mephisto is sending me to a mission and it's quite far away."

(Yukio): "Mephisto sending you on a mission? Why's that?"

(Rin): "Because I asked him to do me a favour about Kuri and Midori. So can I borrow the key or not? I need to wake up early to make the lunch boxes."

(Yukio): "Haah, fine. Just be careful out there."

(Rin): "Sure, no problem."

I told Kuri and Midori that I'm going for the mission and for them to be on their best behaviour. I'd like to take them on the mission but they'll sorta get in the way since they can't hide their aura's yet. But in case of emergency I told Midori I might summon him if necessary.

I changed into an attire i think is suitable for the mission: A black hoodie, black trousers and black shoes.

The address is at the northernmost part of the city. I have to take a train since taking a bus would be painful. Might as well bring a book to keep me company.

-2 hours later-

Finally! I'm alive! Its already past 10. I could probably make it back to the dorm if I finish this quick.

I leave the station and make my way to the abandoned warehouse. It's a typical looking warehouse you'd see in certain anime, surrounded by fences with barbed wire

I jump over the fence and did a flip before landing. Hmm, maybe I should focus on acrobatics in the future?

Having thoughts like these I silently enter the warehouse. I'm not using my aura since others will be able to sense me, which will make hiding my aura useless.

Another benefit of being a demon is that I can see quite well in the dark.

(Incubus guard): "Man guard duty sucks. I wish we can get this over with and join in on the fun inside."

I get closer to the building and find two male demons with bluish skin who are topless, wearing jeans and drinking alcohol. They have bat like wings, handsome faces, six packs and gives off the impression of vampires if it weren't for their blue skin. Looks like two Incubus's for guards.

I wonder how I'll get inside?

This is just a recon mission so I need to look at the inside as well and then give my report to Mephisto.

I look around and find a broken window on the first floor. I easily jumped towards it and entered after banging my head to the roof. Luckily the guards are too drunk to hear that

The place smells with alcohol and other vile smells. What were they doing here?

(???): "Ahh~! Ahh~!"

I hear m.o.a.ns of p.l.e.a.s.u.r.e coming from one of the rooms. Wait a minute... Incubus... mentioning about 'fun'... and m.o.a.ns... Haah, what did Mephisto make me take part of?

I slowly got closer to the m.o.a.ns as I make sure to keep my footsteps silent.

(Incubus): "Hehe, l.u.s.t will love these kids, won't she?:

(S.u.c.c.u.b.u.s): "How dare you call the emperor by her name! You think a maggot like you is worthy enough to even like the emperors feet?"

I hear bickering coming from one of the rooms. I entered and it's a typical empty warehouse with pillars everywhere.

I look around whilst crouching and see a few more Demons: Incubus and S.u.c.c.u.b.u.s.

Both high level demons that have the ability to make humans in demons. What are they doing hanging around here? They're usually Demons that work solo and hunt down their prey in silence either at the pub or brothels when they were a thing.

It wasn't until I looked over one of the Incubus that I saw them. Children. Blindfolded and gagged on some kind of circle. Shit, are they performing the ceremony? Luckily the ceremony can only happen on a full moon… I looked up, noticing the gaping hole and the moon above... great it just happens to be today... At least I have time till it's midnight but if I call Mephisto for backup I'll be too late.

Aw, f.u.c.k it! I need to be careful of the S.u.c.c.u.b.u.s's charm. Luckily it takes time to chant.

I jumped over one of the railings and make my way towards the nearest Incubus below me. There's 5 incubus excluding the two outside and 4 S.u.c.c.u.b.u.s.

(Incubus): "What the-!"

I kill him instantly as I wedge my sword in his skull. The remaining Demons react to the sudden event and I slit the throat of one of the Incubus. My head feels a bit heavy from killing a humanoid Demon but I force myself to focus on the remaining Demons.

(S.u.c.c.u.b.u.s): "Shit! We've been found out! Quickly shoot this shit!"

The remaining incubus quickly react to her orders as they bring out their hand guns and unc.o.c.k them. I quickly take cover to one of the pillars after dragging one of the dead bodies. Found it a handgun. This is gonna be a bit risky.

use a small amount of my flames and use it to burn the floor beneath me. When I did that my idea worked, well sorta, I see the bullets move in slow motion but only to the level of a fastball. I used my katana in my right hand to deflect the bullets coming towards me and use my gun to aim and kill a s.u.c.c.u.b.u.s, they look like they're chanting their charm spell. Shit.

(Incubus): "Shit! Reload!"

Hearing that I used it as a chance to run up to the demon and slice him from shoulder to waist. I miss him slightly as he's still alive but he'll soon be asleep due to his blue blood spilling.

(S.u.c.c.u.b.u.s): "You bastard!"

The s.u.c.c.u.b.u.s uses her charms and stuns me. I feel my blood boiling as I'm starting to lose rationality. F.u.c.k this skills's annoying!

I quickly dodge another barrage of bullets as I make my way away from the hostages. The Demons seem to have forgotten about them. Lucky me.

(Incubus): "You piece of shit!"

(Rin): "You talk too much."

I quickly made my way to the last two incubus's that ran out of bullets. I got hit by some bullets but I'm already healing. I behead them as I make my way to the S.u.c.c.u.b.u.s.

(S.u.c.c.u.b.u.s): "Wow you're actually pretty cute! And you're cold eyes are such a heart throb! I wouldn't mind if you make me yours~!"

The remaining S.u.c.c.u.b.u.s tried using their Charm on me as I resist. My heads pounding as I feel like all my urges are about to be released.

(Rin): "F.u.c.k off!"

I unconsciously use my blue flames as they swarm around me and go towards the s.u.c.c.u.b.u.s like snakes.

(S.u.c.c.u.b.u.s): "S-satan! We, the followers of L-!"

The S.u.c.c.u.b.u.s try to say something in their last breath but couldn't. The flames started to approach the kids so I used to last bit of strength in me to control them and calm them down.

(Rin): "I need to call Mephisto to deal with this mess..."

I close my eyes for a bit to relax my head.

Pathetic. The s.u.c.c.u.b.u.s are weak by themselves but are a nightmare when they join up. Guess this'll teach me to overestimate myself and not rely on my flames more often.

(Incubus guards): "What happened here?"

Great, I hear two more voices coming inside and I remember hearing m.o.a.ns earlier. I ignore my pounding head as I walk my way toward the two ignorant guards. Not knowing that their deaths are about to come.

(Incubus guards): "Ahhh!"

I burn them with my flames as they swarm around them before melting their skin and organs, all the way to their bones into nothing.

I went to the room i heard m.o.a.ns from earlier and see a n.a.k.e.d S.u.c.c.u.b.u.s f.u.c.k.i.n.g a man to the point of becoming bones with the look of death in his eyes.

I quickly end his suffering by beheading the S.u.c.c.u.b.u.s mounting him on the bed. To bad I couldn't save him.

(Rin): "In the next life, I pray you stay away from the supernatural and live a fulfilling life."

I give a short prayer to him before closing his life. He's long since past away but the S.u.c.c.u.b.u.s delayed his death by absorbing his essence from his limbs to his brain.

F.u.c.k.i.n.g filthy creatures!

(Rin): "Rin here. Sorry but I took them all out. I want backup to clear this place up and look after the people they kidnapped here."

I want to sleep. I've never wanted to kill someone so badly before and the feelings I've been ignoring are starting to come back again. F.u.c.k this world!

-Somewhere near the warehouse-

(Sae): "Looks like Mephisto was right. That Okumura kid is real interesting."

At the top of a roof near the warehouse stood Sae, the one-eyed, white haired student of True Cross Academy and the club member of the Culture Club, watching the events of Rin's battle from start to finish including the usage of his blue flames.

(???): "Careful partner, he may be inexperienced but he's much stronger than you. Well in terms of strength that is."

If anyone heard that voice, they'd scared out of their minds to hear a sudden voice coming from nowhere, but to Sae it's very comforting. Afterall he's been living with him since his birth. Or should the better word be 'living inside him' since birth.

(Sae): "Don't worry, Dark. There's no point in having a fight to the death against him. I still value my life more than the missions Mephisto give me."

Saying that, he sinks down to the darkness. Blending in as if he wasn't there to begin with.

(Dark): "Whatever you say, partner."

The Demon inside of him rolls his eye at his host as he knows his temper the best out of everyone around him. Afterall he chose him as his contractor.
