My Life Jumping Worlds

We are passing by an alleyway when a chilling feeling covers the entire city. "My true love, I must regret to tell you that you must try again. In order to kill me, you will need to start over, from zero." a voice, chilling to the bone, informs anyone who can use telepathy in the area.

It was clearly a sloppy attempt to tell a single person that they have failed to defeat them.

This scent. It's the same scent that was on the people who killed our entire clan.

It's the scent of the witch.

We rush towards where the scent is coming from. We find an alley, and we see a man, decked out in mages robes, a sword at his hip, a staff in his hand with a golden ornamental Delta at the top of it. The wood of the staff is carved from something that looks like the world tree's root. Which is impossible, because the world tree is inaccessible due to ice encasing the entire area.

In his hand he carries. the hairpin I always wore, the one from my mother. He looks at it and says

"I failed you.

Rem."

He then looks up at us, and says, "Rem?! How are you a knight?!"

I look at William.

the man then says, "My name is Natsuki Subaru, The sage of the end. The thinker. The master strategist. The one who is cursed by the witch. Once killer of the archbishops of Greed, Gluttony, the white whale, and last and least importantly Sloth."

This Natsuki Subaru, Who reeks of the witch's scent, takes a breath, and continues."I think we need to have a talk. About the future? maybe? Based on the fact that you aren't that rotten Roswaal's maid, I'm guessing this timeline is different entirely. We'll have Crusch Karsten tell if i'm lying or not Via her divine blessing."

Rem says, "We'll trust you, for now, but if you do anything funny, we'll have to take you in and probably execute you."

He winces. "Wouldn't be the first time, he mutters."

Crusch Karsten, A person who cannot be fooled. Anyone who lies to her is immediately found out.

"First-class Knight William of the fastest sword, Requests an audience along with First-class Knight Rem The wind-clad blade and one Guest."

We are quickly Escorted to the office of a woman with forest green hair, wearing a blue formal suit.

Her name is Crusch Karsten. The person who is impossible to lie to.

"My name is Natsuki Subaru, The sage of the end. The thinker. The master strategist. The one who is cursed by the witch. Once killer of the archbishops of Greed, Gluttony, the white whale, and last and least importantly Sloth."

Crusch blinks. "My divine blessing is telling me you aren't lying, but everything you said is impossible. All of them are currently wanted and alive. The white whale is also still running amok."

Natsuiki Subaru, then continues. "I am from an alternate timeline. In my timeline I was unable to keep everyone on this world from dying to the witch. I do not plan on this happening again."

Crusch Karsten's mouth hung open.
