My Life Jumping Worlds

"Simple, you must walk through that door, the deal will then be struck. Once you walk through that door, someone will explain the jump chain."

A door appears in front of us, behind where the witch is. Who is currently frozen in time.

"What happens when we leave?" Rem asks, worried, glancing at her frozen sister in the distance.

The voices reply, "Nothing, time will be frozen until you either fail the jump chain and are forced to return, gain your spark and are able to freely traverse worlds without assistance, or choose to return after a jump. Which you won't be able to survive if you do before gaining at least a speck of divinity. Divinity is not a spark though, a spark is something similar, but completely different."

"What are we waiting for then? The sooner we go through that door, the sooner we can save my sister!" Rem tugs me towards the door, and I follow her.

We enter what looks like a b.a.r.e warehouse. In front of us is a woman, she smiles at Rem and I.

I sense so much raw energy coming from her that she could probably snap her fingers and we would cease existing. She has hair that is colored red and white, like a candy cane she has it up in pigtails, her red eyes pierce my soul, it's as if she knows everything about me. She probably can.

She wears a gown that looks like shimmering stars and the constellations you can see above the world.

"Hello, my name would not be able to be comprehended by you, so you can just call me Jump-chan. Let's get started with the explanation. You will entertain us, and we will grant you the power to slowly become strong enough to come back and save your world."

I frown, "How are we- a couple of mortals, going to entertain what is clearly a being who is beyond a god?"

She grins, "Simple, you are going to go to worlds where we have little sway, and shake things up by simply existing there. You will have your standard lifetime to live as a being in that world and live it to the fullest. Take over the world, serve a country, fight for the people, save the world, destroy the world, be a pirate, be a demon, be someone hated by all- We don't care, as long as it's entertaining."

Her grin widens, "We'll be watching, so here's where you are going next."

She throws me a comic book, called Yu Yu Hakusho, and then hands me a booklet with names of abilities, origins and strengths I can have- for the price of CP, whatever CP is.

"You both have 1000 CP or choice points, to choose anything in the book, you will keep your jump abilities but will be given a new body based on what you choose, that bodies strengths at its prime will be added to your current bodies strength at the end of the jump. Please, choose quickly, and then enjoy your stay. You will not get to keep anything from the world you came from except for heavenly demon body, your skills, and The Gamer."

"At the end of each jump, you will get three options, which will expand to four to include quick-jump in the future, although you aren't powerful enough for a quick jump yet. the other three options are, Return to your original world, stay, or keep jumping. the first will be suicide at this point, the second I'm certain you wont be interested in. So, just keep jumping, and we'll keep giving you more powers."

She turns around, and starts walking away "Also, Remember that all boosts stack, and you can choose something up to two times!"

She stops walking, "Before I forget, The Gamer ability will be sealed until you are in danger."

She then pops out of existence and in her place is a machine where I can choose what I want to take to strengthen ourselves in our new bodies, our origins, and some drawbacks which are all greyed out with a big "Ignore these" placed in front of them.

every origin except for demon is crossed out, so I guess it's time to be reborn as a Heavenly demon child.

We both agree to choose 'spiritual physique boost' twice, and 'perception' twice, meaning we will basically be able to regain our strength as fast as possible. We are forced to take 'reputation', despite the fact I want to lay low at first. We can even buy it twice more to have a reputation of a former S or SS class demon instead of just a former A class Demon. We forgo that option due to the price and I inquire what class I would have been if I would have been able to incarnate as my original body.

We would have been S class.

I sigh, knowing that I can't have everything.

That leaves us with 600 choice points left, each.

Grinning, We both buy Sacred energy.

We then hit the big red button, and we lose consciousness.
