Chapter 29 - Koenma is pissed. Apple of eternity.

"YOU IDIOTS!" Koenma shouts over the 2nd Tape that isn't actually a tape but a transceiver for communication.

"All of you are High B-class! The Toguro brothers are High B-class as well! You could have destroyed a threat Capable of Annihilating a small city in seconds in well, seconds if you had just not let them flee! Now they're probably going to train themselves and when the dark tournament comes around, We'll have a monster capable of destroying a country! There should never be an A-Class demon anywhere near Ningenkai due to the barrier, but you guys screwed up so bad that We may have a High A-class who's motivated to get stronger by the end of the six-month wait between now and the dark tournament!!"

Koenma takes deep long breaths, his pacifier out of his mouth for the first time ever. Finished with his rant, Koenma slumps in his seat.

I shrug "We have 6 months to train. I can dilate time up to 20 times, I think we can get to S-Class before the tournament." I grin, and Koenma looks terrified. He mechanically turns his head to Boton, "Is he kidding?"

"No sir, in fact-"

The transmission ends before Boton can scare him further.

I grin, "Let's get to training! To Genkai's!"

Arriving at Genkai's, we quickly enter her study, where she begins to speak. "The only thing I can still teach you five is the spirit wave, but I only have enough energy for one of you to receive it." She sighs, "So, which one will it be? If I were a bit younger I could probably help all five of you."

I grin, realizing I have an item just for the occasion. I got 7 of them in an ID and I think it's time to use it. "Genkai, I acquired an item that can Reduce your age to your prime and keep it there. This will give you an infinite life-span. Unless you are killed, you won't ever die." She shudders, "Does this item have a cost? Like losing one's soul?" I frown, "What? no! why the f.u.c.k would anyone accept something like that!? no! it just creates a core in your danchen that perpetually gives you revitalizing energy! Rem and I already ate one anyway!"

She frowns, "How many of these do you have left?" I pull out 7 shining golden apples. She grabs one, examines it, and gasps.

"This apple is made of the purest sacred energy! It shouldn't exist! It's literally an impossible object."

she takes deep breaths. "We must hide these! There will be nowhere safe for these objects. even

SS-class demons would destroy a world just to get a bite of one of these apples!"

"I'd rather you eat one. I'll put them in my gamer inventory, If I am killed, it will just be destroyed with it. No one will be able to get a hold of it."

She slumps, sighs and explains like she's talking to an idiotic child. "It doesn't matter if it's stored in your soul, They'll find a way to extract it if they ever find out about it."

Rem interrupts her. "They won't find out about it, then!" Genkai sighs, and hands 6 of them back to me, and takes a bite out of one of them, continuing to eat until it's gone.

"What are these called?" Genkai asks as she wipes her mouth with a napkin, and her body reverts from a short old hag to a 5-foot four-inch-tall woman with an impressive figure, Her hair going from grey pink to a vibrant pink.

"There was no core, and therefore it wasn't an apple, it needs a new name."

I shrug, "I guess so."

She smiles, "I haven't felt this good ever."
