The elders looked at each other and then one of them said to Raven : “The power of both of them is far beyond our knowledge, so we really don’t know what they are capable of, but our King said that he is coming back so we should still wait for him.”

Raven nodded, he didn’t want their King’s fury to turn against them and he really only realized now that Kevin had spared him earlier.

He could have won this fight easily but he had let him keep his dignity and that was something he was grateful for.

While waiting for Axel and Kevin to come back, Raven let the elders talk among them and he went to talk to his men to convince them to give the humans a chance.

And his men were easily convinced because after having felt Axel’s power, they knew that they could trust him and that the injustice they had suffered for 17 years would soon be history.

Whether it was his men or the Shapeshifters in general, they were all anxious for their King to return, and the elders, after speaking with their respective clans, realized that a council was unnecessary and that the Shapeshifters were unanimous.

Many of them wanted to participate in the creation of the Sect that Axel had mentioned when he was trying to convince them to join them, and they were very enthusiastic in thinking that they could create a name for themselves and be recognized by all humans.

Some of them who had kept in touch with Evy or Tony wanted to continue doing business with them and the elders promised to talk to their King about it.

Others had always admired Master Liam and many of the wolves here wanted to wait to talk to him before making a decision, because their King had proposed them to join either the humans or the demons and they were all curious about the demon territory.

Almost an hour later Kevin and Axel magically reappeared in front of them, and Axel was back in his human form and his golden tattoos and powerful aura were gone.

Kevin had also deactivated his Warrior Spirit Stage 2 and he was carrying a bird with unusual feathers in his arms.

After everyone saw that their King didn’t seem to be angry anymore and that he even seemed to be in a very good mood, everyone was relieved and their attention was soon drawn to the bird he was carrying in his arms that was slowly starting to wake up.

The elder of the Dragon clan, when he saw Willow’s head and her red eyes with golden pupils, exclaimed suddenly : “It’s a phoenix… A baby phoenix… But that’s impossible…”

He took a few steps forward unconsciously but Raven held him back by the arm when he saw the golden glow in Axel’s pupils.

His reaction had been a bit extreme and Axel didn’t want him to scare their daughter, but Kevin then smiled at them reassuringly, before saying to his overprotective husband : “Axel, it’s normal that he was surprised and curious, after all phoenixes disappeared from our world almost 2,000 years ago.”

Willow then rubbed her head against Axel’s hand to reassure him because she had felt her father’s aura stir when this man had wanted to approach her a little too abruptly and as she looked around, she saw that there were a lot of people in front of them and that they all had an animal smell on them.

‘Shapeshifters !’, she exclaimed immediately delighted.

Axel finally relaxed when he felt that she was really happy and Kevin smiled at him before handing her to him.

Axel took his precious daughter in his arms to formally introduce her to everyone : “Everyone, this is Willow, our adopted daughter, and she comes from a world that no longer exists.

She was born here with us in our Sun Sect pavilion and although she is the first divine phoenix of all her race, she is still not able to take human form.

At the moment she needs physical contact to be able to communicate with you but soon she will be able to communicate with everyone just by telepathy.

You will see her with us often so we wanted to introduce her to you.”

Kevin then added : “She is really thrilled because she could tell after only one glance that you were all Shapeshifters.

Willow being a divine creature, her animal side is stronger than her human side, at least until she grows up enough to take her human form, so I hope you won’t mind letting her play with your children.

She won’t hurt them and even though she is still a baby, Willow has inherited the knowledge that was in her bloodline so you can rest assured, she will listen to the instructions you give her as her mind at the moment is a mixture of innocence and wisdom.”

Willow then looked curiously at the man who had tried to approach her and she could see that the fire particles were more numerous around him and when she concentrated on the man who had stopped him, she saw that the fire particles and even the golden ones seemed attracted to him.

When she told that to her daddies she even compared him to Ian who could attract fire and darkness particles like a magnet.

Kevin and Axel who were already connected with her then looked at Raven rather intrigued and when Axel asked to Kevin if it was true, Kevin told him that he didn’t know because when he had activated his Stage 2 he hadn’t used his Mage side at all, except when he had created the energy balls, and so he hadn’t paid attention to the particles that seemed to stay around Raven.

Willow then told them that he was by far the most powerful Dragon here, and she said that there were also 3 wolves who should be able to become Divine wolves soon because golden particles were staying around them too.
