Lena then said to him: "So that's why you reminded us from time to time that when we grew up and could look after ourselves, you would leave because other people still needed you... You never had any intention of taking us with you."

Peter sighed and said: "Indeed, I never intended to bring you here. Our world is threatened by Gods and war rages on, knowing you were both safe all those years helped your mother and I to fight to stay alive.

Because as long as we stayed alive, we were hoping that one day our family would be reunited again."

While Kevin was using his own Soul force to make the Divine grade healing potion spreading all over Maya's body, and as he was using the power of this potion plus the golden particles to get rid of the Corium that was in her bloodstream, he asked Peter to tell them what happened to their world.

Peter then told them that after Miguel and Elias left, the elders of their world chose to keep the shield in place around their world as they were still too scared that a God would come and destroy the harmony that they had been able to keep all those years.

And they preciously kept the transdimensional communication stone that Miguel gave them in case of another accident happened.

Kevin frowned hearing this but he let Peter continue telling them his story.

He said that nothing happened to them during millenia and that the threat that the Gods could represent were almost forgotten by all.

He told them that Maya was an Immortal she was already the Guardian of the shield's generator back when Miguel and Elias came and that she was still guarding it when himself, as a promising Paladin was appointed to look after it.

It was a tradition that the evil beings and the human community joined hands to guard the shield's generator and only their best soldiers were allowed to guard it.

Peter then told them that it was a great honor to be assigned to this mission but that it also meant that they were trapped in this cave for 20 years.

When he first met Maya, he was 18 and she was already more than 6,000 years old, he fell in love at first sight and as they were trapped here together for at least 20 years, after a lot of effort he finally succeed in seducing her.

The Black Elves had all fair skin, they were all beautiful creatures, tall and slender, and the only difference they had with humans were their ears that were longer than them and that were shaped into points.

Maya was no exception but her particularly came from the fact that her father was a human and her mother was a Black Elf and that she had developed the power of her Clan plus that of the Mages.

That was why Maya was undeniable the strongest of her Clan and that was also why she had been guarding the shield's generator for so long.

Lena then asked him, hesitating: "Is that why I am a simply human while Sora had always been able to use so much power… Because there is a part of human in our mother?"

Peter then told her affectionately and proudly: "How come you are a simple human, aren't you an Angel, my dear daughter. As soon as you were born, a white light enveloped you, so you have never been a simple human, since your birth you have been an Angel."

He then explained to them that Angels were still very rare and that generally they weren't born from ordinary people even though it could happen, but that they were mainly born from two powerful humans, Mages, fighters or Angels.

Peter then resume his story and he explained to them that 40 years ago two Gods collude together and that they were powerful enough to break through their shield.

At that time Sora and Lena were only babies and they were kept by Peter's family in the human territory.

Maya had finally gotten the permission to leave this cave at the same time as Peter and others were already ready to take their place to secure the shield's generator.

But unfortunately, just before they coud have their happy ending, these two Gods, one woman and one man, suddenly appeared in this cave and after a fierce fight they didn't kill them because they wanted them to go find the elders of their world to tell them to surrender without a fight or else they would all be executed.

Peter then told them that they hurried to find the Angels and they report to them the situation.

The elders immediately tried to contact the God of War and his powerful husband but somehow the communication stone never worked and they had been unable to seek help from them.

Kevin who was almost done getting rid of the Corium in Maya's body, then asked him: "How come it didn't work… It's impossible! Miguel and Elias are my adoptive dads, and they told me themselves that they left you a means of communication that could pass through your shield if you needed any assistance, so it should have worked."

Peter shook his head and told him: "Trust me it didn't work…"

Since Peter could feel that the boy that was saving his wife didn't seem convinced by what he just told him, he conjured up the transdimensional communication stone in his hand that the elders gave him before sending him to another world to try to find reinforcements, and he gave it to him.

Kevin who was almost done took the stone in his hand and he said to Peter without any doubt: "It's a fake one, the rune is the good one but it had been drawn without adding Divine energy, so this stone can't be the one that my dads gave to you back then… Someone exchanged it with this fake one."
