This chapter is a pov chapter, it happened one day before Niftalia went to the elven village.

Also, I reduced all the numbers of levels because working with a lot of big numbers was becoming a little annoying.

I know I reduced the levels a loooooooottttttttt but it's for a better understanding and story hope you don't hate me.

I changed the levels all over the story and changed the ranking system. This doesn't affect the power levels at all.

I made a mistake in the last chapter about the girls marks their Purple and not pink but I've already corrected it.

In a mid-sized forest, there is a mid-sized elven village and this village is pretty calm and peaceful, its inhabitants are happy to not have to deal with problems of the outside world that brings nothing but trouble.

Just like any other day the village was peaceful and full of joy.

In this village, there's a little girl that loves it with all her heart and wishes to one day become its leader just like her father. She's just like any other day trying to practice magic to show that she's strong and talented enough to be the great leader that she aspires to become, but just like any other day, she shows no results at all.

Dreamy girl: why can't I use even the simplest magic no matter how hard I try?!

She asked to the skies like she always does, she has tried harder than the others, she has trained more than the others, she has always been more devoted than the others... So why? Why can't she do it? Why can't she use magic like all the others? Those are questions that this little girl asks every day but never gets an answer. Will she give up? Of course not! She'll fight with all her strength and get to her dream with or without magic and that's something she had decided long ago.

This very determined girl is Lania. Today she was given the task of getting water with a lot of other children her age. While the others use water magic to fill the bucket and wind magic to help them carry them. Lania has to do it all herself since she has no friends to count on, the other kids avoid her because she can't use magic and call her cursed demon.

Lania: today ill beat my personal record of getting it done in 2 hours!!

She said very excited and happy.

Even tho she's excluded and mistreated, not even once did she cry or get sad Lania is very cheerful and happy person making many of those who make fun of or are simply scared of her actually think that maybe she's just a very nice person but that never lasts more than a day as people will mistreat her again in the next day... As time went by Lania got used to it, she doesn't fault it on the people or on herself she believes that this most have reason to be and that once she becomes the leader of her village everything will change. She also has no hate for nobody.

Usually, kids that 10-15 minutes to take the water because besides having magic they work together but Lania is excluded and has no magic so it's way harder for her.

Lania: it's like dad says those who don't give up will have a better tomorrow.

She says as she happily carries the bucket on her head to make it easier.

Bully elf kid(1): hey it's the no magic freak.

Bully elf kid(2): more like no use freak.

Bully elf kid(3): Nah she's obviously the sh* try devil. Hahaha!!

Bully elf kid(1):yh hahaha, why don't you just die?

Bully elf kid(2): yeah why do you even try?

The last bully to talk pushed her making her bucket of water fall to the ground and all over her.

Lania: hahaha!!! Well, it looks like I'll have to start again, it was very rude of you to do such a thing but I can't do anything if that's how you feel about me but remember the water is for everyone not just for me.

She said still as cheerful and happy as always, she picked up the bucket and went back to get more water.

After collecting the water once again she took it to the storage with all the other water buckets till she filled her part.

Lania: well I'm finally done and this time I was so close to beating my record but I'll do it next time definitely.

She was interrupted at least more 6 times after the first one making her have to start over 7 times, considering those buckets can take 15 liters of water and she has to fill them up at least 13 times it's a very hard work even for most of the low-level a.d.u.l.ts that is if they had to do it without magic so this girl named Lania is someone to respect. She's also the kid who fill more water buckets everytime in the whole village since elves hate labor work unlike Lania who always works hard.

Then she headed back home humming and skipping in happiness from another day where she had some fun, she doesn't mind all the people hating her right now and simply goes on living on her own world. While she was going home as happy as any other day suddenly she got hit by something in her head, she touched the hit area with her hands and it was mud, she started laughing while going on her path home but people, again and again, keep throwing mud balls at her once after the other.

Random elf villager(1): nobody needs a demon like you around!!

Random elf villager(2): why didn't the cheff get rid of you the moment you were born!?

Random elf villager(3): yeah, what's the point of this cursed trash on our village!?

Random elf villager(4): just leave you'll never ever be useful here!!!

Lania, as usual, didn't mind them and simply went on walking without even looking back all covered in mud but with a smile on her.

Lania: they sure hate me a lot don't they, hehehe.

Random elf villager(5): she's just as much of q sh*tty outsider as her mother was, only-.

Lania: SHUT UP!!! YOU CAN TALK WHATEVER ABOUT ME BUT ALL MY MOTHER DID WAS HELP YOU AND THIS VILLAGE!!! SO NEVER!! EVER!!! TALK THAT WAY ABOUT HER!!

It hit the nerve, Lania who's usually happy and excited not minding the hate around her just lost it because her mother is the best and most amazing person she ever knew, nobody not even her father ever did more the well being of this village and its inhabitants.

Everyone present was stupefied by what they heard, they had already tried to insult her in all ways they could think of but nothing worked, of course, they never did something too violent or even talked about her mother because they knew the cheff of the village her father would punish those who dared to severally actually the only reason he hasn't punished a soul is because of his wife's dying wish and that is also the reason Lania is usually so calm about their insults and mistreatment. But today the cheff is not in the village him and the strongest warriors of the village are outside hunting the strongest beasts of the area since lately they increased a lot because of all the 'natural disasters' happening lately, it seems these new and strong monsters come from a place called the vomit forest, that is not too far from the forest where they live.

Random elf villager(1): hahaha!! Did we touch a weak point?! Hahaha!!

Random elf villager(2): is the little useless demon missing mommy hahaha!!

Random elf village(3): that idiot knew we hated her but was still nice and worked hard for all of us, hahaha!!! Stupid mother equal to stupid daughter hahaha!!!

Random elf village(4): but I sure would have liked to taste that sl*t! Hahaha!

On the moment that elf said so his head took off flying with blood gushing out of his body none-stop and his body fell to the ground, everyone around was terrified looking at what just happened.

Lania: that guy was as disgusting as I thought he would be.

She said while l.i.c.k.i.n.g her fingers full of blood with a lot of the blood around her lips if one looked at her now they would say it's a different person her straight hair became spiky and changed color from blue to bloody red while her eyes become black with an orange iris, her teeth are now very sharp and slightly longer not forgetting her nails that are just as sharp and longer.

They all started screaming and running but Lania didn't care all she wanted was to get rid of those who bad mothed her mother. So in the midst of the public, she found them one by one and killed them mercilessly they did beg for their lives but that didn't get them anymore as all died a painless and fast death even tho Lania hated them she would never torture if she has to kill she'll do it fast.

Lania: mother, I beg your forgiveness but I wasn't able to keep my promise, worry not even if you don't forgive me I understand however I have already chosen this new path and can no longer follow that old one full of foolish dreams, now I will live for myself and nobody else, I'll leave dad and this village behind.

She said as she sent a prayer to her long-dead mother that she hopes can forgive her, but even if not the moment she killed that man she had already decided she wouldn't go back.

Lania was now tired from all this and was planning to leave so she went home to get her things.

-Lania's house-

Lania was now getting her things ready she in she didn't have too much time before the villagers tried to avenge the ones she killed, considering her father and the strongest hunters of the village could be back at any moment and that's not even the worst problem since the village's elders and other hunters are still there, Lania doesn't know against how many can she fair in her current state so she was in a hurry.

Lania: great I better get out of here before sh*t gets real.

She said way more cheerful and with a more believable smile than the one she wore before.

She went to the door to open it but the moment she tried to she got a shock wave all over her body.

Elder elf: YOU THINK YOU CAN ESCAPE YOU MONSTER!! WE WILL KEEP YOU THERE UNTIL THE CHEFF IS BACK!! HAHAHA!! WE FINALLY WILL GET RID OF THIS THING FOR GOOD!
