Darkios: "Well, there goes one of our chances of getting this solved the easy way"

Darkios says as if to complain and Ingenuus looks at him with Killer eyes, even though Darkios obviously had seen much worse in all his life experiences he couldn't help but feel pressured for different reasons then the usual ones.

Ingenuus: "Do you really want to go that route? Is it really worth it?"

Ingenuus asked with a completely different aura to his usual one as if he was someone different and that made Darkios rethink his words with slight cold sweat on his forehead.

Kurama who was observing their interaction was laughing internally none-stop seeing how easily the kid handled Darkios.

Darkios: "Ok, now that you've got your thoughts out, I want to know just how much do you know about the functioning of Realities and multi-verses."

Ingenuus: "Not much really, I know we are in the multiverse and that it's composed of multiple realities, universes and dimensions."

Darkios: "Wrong."

Ingenuus: "Really? What did I say wrong?"

Darkios: "Well, the basic components are correct. What's wrong is the order in which you placed them"

Ingenuus: "So, you're saying multi-verses aren't the biggest order here?"

Darkios: "Exactly! You see, multi-verses are parts of realities. There are tons of realities and each of them is composed of many multi-verses, those multi-verses being made up of Worlds and those worlds made of dimensions and those dimensions full of universes and so on... Basically, realities are the 'biggest' at least for now."

Ingenuus hearing this information was slightly surprised since he had a different organization set in his mind, but it seems he'll have to adjust to the changes.

Ingenuus: "That is helpful and I would like to ask you more but we have to get out of here, there's no time to lose."

Darkios: "I would love to but this chakra thing is so inefficient, that's why I prefer magical worlds. They usually have optimized types of energy, this one is so brute and unnecessarily wasteful."

Darkios was once again complaining about how bad chakra is.

Kurama at this point is just eyeing the weird man, no matter what it thinks of the man he has useful knowledge and doesn't seem to be all talk, so Kurama will learn as much as it can to make use of it once it's free.

Ingenuus: "Just answer me, is there a way out of this place before it's too late?"

Darkios: "Of course there is, I just need Foxy here to give me a power-up since I'll need a lot of this chakra cr*p"

Kurama: "Are you a moron? Or you must be tripping if you think I'll help a stupid arrogant prick, like yourself."

Darkios: "Arrogant prick you say? Are you kidding me? Great nine-tail fox Lord of all, the superior beast, is calling me arrogant?! You fit that description better... from what I saw while half-dormant inside the kid, you are way worse than me."

Ingenuus is paying attention to their conversation since he still doesn't trust this Darkios guy, even if he is helping there is no guarantee he has no ill intent or that everything he said is true. Ingenuus will keep it in mind as a reference but be careful with Darkios. 'You're never too safe.' is what Ingenuus thinks of this situation, as one of the first lessons taught to him by his mother and reinforced by his father.

Kurama wants to refute what Darkios just said but it would be too much of a risk as it doesn't know what kind of guy this Darkios is, and no matter how much of what he said is bluff he's obviously a dangerous man, no man with no means of defending himself would be so calm close to the nine-tailed beast, Kurama knows this because it can feel emotions and the man is as calm as it gets, even the kid has feelings of uneasiness coming from him but nothing from the man. That makes Kurama take an extra cautious way of acting towards such a man.

Ingenuus: "Can you just help him, please? I need to get out of here. Not only do I not know what's going on in the outside as I'm also not aware of what's going on in the rest of my spiritual inside, but this situation also can't go on or we all might die. Besides I'm worried about the girls especially Rikune and Kushina."

Ingenuus having received such a warning about Rikune knows she's facing the 'wrath of the souls' and Kushina might be dead considering Kurama is now inside of him.

Darkios: "I understand your worries with your harem or whatever but I'm having to work with this chakra thing as base for compression transformation"

Ingenuus: "What?!"

Ingenuus decided to ignore the harem comment and focused on what's important.

Darkios: "Oh yeah, I keep forgetting you don't have my knowledge. I'm compressing and refining chakra into Inner Qi, the most basic form of Qi that is born in all of us. It's usually impossible to use it unless you have great mastery but it's of no use to use it before you nurture it into finner forms. I'll explain in more detail later now let me concentrate."

Ingenuus wanted to question why he doesn't simply use chakra instead of going through the efforts of refining it into something else, but he decided to simply convince Kurama to help instead since he doesn't have too much time left.

After finally convincing Kurama and having it Work with Darkios Ingenuus focused on getting familiar with chakra before getting to Kurama's chakra or nature chakra.

Working together pretty well Kurama and Darkios finish it not too long after and they find Ingenuus practicing chakra control.

Kurama: "Hahaha! This kid wants my chakra with such a sh*tty level of chakra control! Hahaha!"

Darkios: *sigh* "This is kind of disappointing... "

Both of them get a bad reaction to Ingenuus very low level of CC(chakra control).

Ingenuus: "I'll get it back at you two later, now how is the process. Can I leave this place?"

Both(Kurama and Darkios) looked at each other and simply nodded at Ingenuus words.

Ingenuus: "Good, now take me to where Rikune is now"

Darkios: "Before that, what do you plan to do once there?"

Ingenuus: "I'll make a deal with the system in which I'll borrow AP and I'll have a limited time to pay it back. Once I have the AP I'll use it to buy items that are appropriate to fight or seal soul depending on how much the system is allowed to give me in this situation. And in case of emergency, I'll borrow Kurama's chakra to help me, even though I won't be able to control it properly I'll be able to handle it if you both help me."

So Ingenuus explained his rushed up plan that seems to have several failing chances and holes.

Darkios: "is that it? You're just gonna jump outside with that very unplanned strategy..."

Ingenuus: "If something goes wrong I'll find a solution"

Both Kurama and Darkios could only sigh at the young people's hurried way of acting and agree to his 'plan' even though they think he's going to his own doom with such a 'strategy'.

Darkios: "I still think you should make a better plan or try to activate the system here but it's your choice"

Ingenuus: "I don't have much time and I tried many times, the warning is something like an emergency Waring and that's why I got it even here... At least that's what it seems to be. So just send me off."

Darkios: "Young people... Well, good luck kid and try not to die. I have some hopes about this reincarnation of ours"

Ingenuus: "all I can say is I'll try not to get killed"

The moment they finished their conversation an unusual circle formation appeared below Ingenuus and Kurama's chakra was flowing towards Darkios who's saying some unheard words while Ingenuus disappeared into particles of light. For Ingenuus it was a completely new feeling but it was nice and very comfortable but he couldn't let such things distract him from the seriousness of the situation.

-The outer sole layer-

In the area that was absolutely dark, there is now an empty space that has more of a grayish tome making it seem less of a hazardous zone. In this place, a light shining brought upon a young man with silver and red hair.

Ingenuus: "System, I want to make an agreement. How much can I borrow? And how long do I have to pay back?"

After finally being materialized Ingenuus didn't lose anytime and immediately begun his negotiation.

[Host can borrow up to 10,000 AP for now. The time limit to pay back is one year. Exception case being that the host is allowed to increase the quantity in exchange less time would be given till payday.]

When he heard this Ingenuus understood that 10,000 AP is most likely equivalent to 12 months is time, meaning that even if he were to take more points he could never go past 15,000 at least, for now, that being the case 'Isn't it almost useless to get more points right now' he thought because not only is he not aware of the punishment for not paying in time but he also doesn't believe that the items in the 15,000 AP section would be that much stronger than the item in the 10,000 AP section. In reality, Ingenuus could get up to 20,000 AP but if he got such sum he would only have one week to pay back and even though he isn't aware of this right now he knows that if he takes more than 15,000 even in an emergency case he most likely will never be able to pay back in time since 5,000 AP should be equivalent to 6 months in time meaning he would have less than a year to pay which is not realistic when considering his current situation not even being a ninja Academy student.

Not losing another second thinking about useless stuff Ingenuus decided to get 10,000 AP and work with that for better or worse. At this moment he was thankful to himself for asking about the system's functions to Rikune in the past.

Ingenuus: "Fine, give me 10,000 AP and show me the list of items that are useless against spiritual type enemies that range from 5,000 to 10,000 AP"

The list was WAY bigger than expected and Ingenuus was cursing himself for thinking he could find a useful item easily without Rikune's help. Not minding his own stupidity Ingenuus found some things that caught his attention among the many items of the endless seeming list.

Especially the spatial bag wish he couldn't figure out how to use in this situation or how it's useful against spiritual enemies at all, but it must be if the system said so, Ingenuus decided to ignore it for now and analyzed all the other items really fast.

The spirit jar has the effect of trapping souls but it can only contain 3 souls at once had a high chakra consumption besides having the time limit of 7 days for soul trapped. If you look at it from the point of view of the current situation it will seem useless sense the enemy has nearly countless souls but if you look at it from the normal point of view ain't this a really outrageous item that not only allows you to trap 3 souls inside it but it keeps them in longer if you put all tree inside it, but not of help in the current situation. Ingenuus simply decided to leave it in his 'will be useful in the future' list.

The same kind of situation that happened with the jar happens here since this technique can only trap one soul at a time, the reason it's more costly than the jar it's low chakra consumption and the fact it has no time limit but in exchange, it takes some of your life force. Ingenuus isn't interested in something so dangerous to oneself.

The next items were the armor and the kunai both of them were promising since they were chakra powered with a spiritual attribute but another item was more interesting if considering those characteristics.

Even though Ingenuus himself didn't have much chakra yet if Kurama's reserves were counted in things would take a different turn and make it more interesting for Ingenuus, so he decided to take the chakra sword as his.

There might be those that would take the evil armor without thinking but that would be but a big mistake as the consequences aren't pretty, using the armor came with the price of one's sanity and reproduction ability... In other words, those who use it will not only became mad warriors but also never have kids. Well, never again for those who already have children. Those might not be bad terms for some people but Ingenuus would never accept such a deal.

After seeing all the items that called out to his attention, Ingenuus bought the chakra sword that was the best option for him in this situation or at least Ingrnuus believed so.

Having bought the sword Ingenuus was anxious but confident he could at least try now, he's not the type to usually jump into the unknown but his way of thinking has considerable changed, as someone who died once he simply thought 'If you cower at every corner then dying might as well be a reward' with that implying that if you rather survive and let someone important to you die, rather than dying with no regrets, your death will surely come as a liberation.

Ingenuus picked the sword and started swinging it to try the feeling out, even though Ingenuus had a better affinity with daggers, the short sword on his hand isn't bad at all.

Finally realizing that his surroundings are completely empty, Ingenuus tries to look for a hint of where his target might be but he is quite lost despite being in his own soul plane.

???: |Hey kid! Can you hear me?|

In that moment he heard the voice he recently got familiar with the voice of Darkios, his supposed past life.

Ingenuus: "Is this some kind of telepathy?... It doesn't matter right now, do you know where Rikune, the souls and Elma are?"

Ingenuus was surprised by the sudden communication but he had no time to question how it works right now his main objective was Rikune and the rest came after.

Darkios: |Of course, I wouldn't bother talking to you if I didn't|

Ingenuus: "Good, where are they?"

Darkios: |heading your direction at high speed|

Before ingenuus could even process what was happening he got hit by a giant tentacle that came from behind making him immediately wary of his surroundings once again, a part of him cursed at Darkios since he probably did this on purpose while he was also doing his best to focus on the battle ahead.

Ingenuus: "A surprise attack... Have you souls lost all your shame surprise attacking me in my own soul"

Ingenuus said something incredibly stupid and unexpected the distorted creature that is all back and nasty looking stopped upon hearing such a remark. Ingenuus had no time to be disgust or surprised by the ugly existence in front of him, he simply took in the opening he created by saying something senseless.

Ingenuus wanted to approach his adversary as fast as possible to attack while the opening was there but he soon realized he had no experience floating and could get around fast enough.

Distorted dragon: "Human, we do not know what you speak of but shall you let us devour you we shall show you mercy and painless absorption"

Ingenuus heard it's awful voice and wanted to cry as his soul vibrated in fear in front of an adversary that can easily destroy him if he's not careful, Ingenuus takes a fighting stance and answers the creature.

Ingenuus: "Just tell me where Rikune is and I'll destroy quickly"

Of course, Ingenuus is bluffing as he has no means if destroying his enemy but he knows Rikune will have a solution once he saves her or at least he hopes, and even if she hasn't at least he can say this time he went after the girl until the end, Ingenuus throw his stupid thoughts away and calmly waited for his opponent's next move.

Not minding Ingenuus words the monster sends its multiple tentacles to catch him.

Ingenuus is not some high-rank swordsman but he knows enough to survive this. The tentacles come from multiple directions and Ingenuus parries them quite swiftly then advances towards his target.

Distorted dragon: "Your lowly servant will soon be part of us, worry not as you shall join her"

Infenuus knows how important is one's mentality in a battle and that if he lets his opponent destabilize him he'll most surely lose considering he's already in a big disadvantage with his movement being dull because he's not used to floating and the fact he can't kill an opponent they can easily do so to him.

More tentacles come his way and Ingenuus starts to worry since there's more than he can deal with but not letting it get to him, Ingenuus sliced the tentacles one by one at a good speed but the more the cut the worst it got.

This is one of the reasons Ingenuus dislikes tentacle creatures.

Ingenuus: (This is why I hate this things!! The more you cut it down the more it regenerates!)

Ingenuus felt the situation get worse by minute the more he fought back the bigger got the feeling he's being played by the monster.

Darkios: |Kid, all the preparations are done. Kurama will boost you|

Ingenuus never thought he would be happy for hearing a voice he considered very annoying most of the time at least not until now. At that moment a huge power-up happened, even though Ingenuus was receiving the chakra of the nine-tail he felt like it was his own and had a pretty time controlling it, he immediately understood that both Kurama and Darkios are helping him control it.

Ingenuus: (Let's test this new-found strength right up)

Not giving it a second thought Ingenuus sliced through all the tentacles surrounding him, even though he was tired and getting weaker just a minute ago, new he expels a wild and determined red aura that comes with the tailed beast chakra. Unlike the chakra of other animals, this is thicker but also more efficient, with higher quality and gives others who use it the characters of the beast in question, especially when one is not able to properly control it, it's very easy to lose control over this type of chakra and that's why Ingenuus intends to finish this before it becomes too much for him to handle, even if Kurama is helping him, if he takes in more than he can handle he will obviously lose control.

And right now even if Ingenuus would rather have a more optimistic situation he believes that any longer than 10 minutes would be too much for him, and those 10 minutes are only possible for the current him because he's being helped control it. So Ingenuus decided that while he can he has to go all out.

Distorted dragon: "Human your soul is too precious for you to be in its possession"

Ingenuus heard this comment and just thought 'It's my soul! You bastard how can it be too much to be in my possession!!' but didn't lose her precious time saying it and just continue to break through the endless waves of tentacles.

Distorted dragon: <Abyss shot>

When these words were transmitted to Ingenuus he instantly felt something wrong and moved the fastest he could to avoid the danger his instincts told him was ahead, and that same action saved him like a beam of dark energy passed close to him and would have most surely hit had he not decided to dodge instead of trying to defend it.

Ingenuus: (That was a close one! That thing it didn't even touch me and I can already feel enough power to kill thousands of me)

Ingenuus was happy he's already getting used to floating had he not improved from what he was not too long ago and he would now be a memory.

Not letting the danger ahead scare him Ingenuus once again advances but much faster and stronger than before as his time had reached the 3 minutes left and his power was also more than before since he had more red chakra than before, He cursed himself for not having learned how to use any ninja techniques that would most certainly be useful in a moment like this, but crying over spilled milk was never Ingenuus styles, he works with what he has and that's it. If he can get extras he will but even if he doesn't he'll do it the same.

Ingenuus: (I have little less than 3 minutes left now so I have to get through now or I won't have another chance, according to Darkios they are with this thing meaning they can only be inside)

Ingenuus swiftly got to the monster while dodging it's various tentacle attacks with some death breath(Abyss beam) mixed in it from time to time, apparently, it's not something that can be used nonchalantly.

Ingenuus now stood in front of the monster with his sword ready to slice it and little less than 2 minutes left.

Ingenuus: (Well, time to do something crazy)
