My New Isekai!

Still mad, I got up and put my clothes on. I walked out and saw Kura, Polly, and Charlotte.

"What are they doing here," I asked.

"Oh, they were already in there by the time I got in," Kura said.

I missed out on the treasure of three decent looking girls?! Dammit! Whatever is making this happen is gonna feel my animosity.

Kura grabbed my arm when I was imagining what they looked like, "Come on, we gotta go."

"Yeah, I know," I replied.

When we got to the destination we saw them, the general. Once seeing them, I pulled out my adventurers card.

"What are you doing, Haru," Kura asked.

"I'm checking my level!" I quickly stated. "If I'm too low of a level, I'm definitely gonna die. So, I'm making sure I'm a decent looking level."

I saw my level, it said I was level 5. I don't know if that's a good thing or not, but I didn't have time to react to what happened next.

I got flown back, "You, boy," the general said to me in a rough deep voice.

I got up, then looked around. Nobody was pushed backwards, but they were all staring at me.

"Are you talking to me," I asked.

"Yes," the general said. "Come here, now."

Is this a trap, it has to be. Anyways, I complied. I started walking walking towards the general, Kura looked at me silently when I passed her.

"Don't die, Haru," Kura said to me.

"Don't worry, I won't."

I finally reached the general, "What do you want with me?"

"There's something different about you," he said in that deep voice. "You seem to have a certain magic type like no one else."

I stared blankly, "Oh, you're talking about my magic? I already know about that. What's so neat about it?"

They ignored my question.

Suddenly, one of the adventurers ran out, "I'm gonna kill you and get the reward!"

I was pushed back again, farther than before, hitting the stone wall and leaving a crack down the middle. The guy who ran up to the general though was dead. He got torn to bits.

"Haru," Kura yelled running over to where I landed.

My stomach was burning. I couldn't breathe in or out. Was this because I got knocked back so fast and hard.

"Haru, focus!" Kura said smacking my face.

I regained my senses, "Why did you do that?"

"Because you're acting like a total idiot right now," Kura said, still yelling.

"Whatever, help me up," I asked.

"Sure," Kura said, lending me a hand.

I took it, and got up. After getting up I raised my hand towards the general, "Please, God...let this work." I said taking a deep breath, "Cursed Magic!!"

The black orb came out of my hand again, this time, turning into a black dragon racing towards the general. Once reaching them, it got s.u.c.k.e.d into his body.

The general yelled in agony, just like I did when I first used it. But for some reason, something seemed off here. He didn't move.

It was silent. Until, the general ran at me with pure fury.

"Shit," I said aloud.

As soon as they were ten feet from me, they fell.

A was silent. Nobody moved for a good ten minutes making sure he wouldn't get up.

Then, somebody walked up to the general and felt his pulse, "They're dead...!"

Everybody looked at me in shock, then ran up to me, "What level are you, kid?"

"Level 5," I said.

Everybody shouted in surprise, "How did you kill a general at level 5?!"

"I don't know...," I said.

They grabbed me and threw me up in the air. Is this what it feel like to be an adventurer?
