Mason initially wanted to pursue the Old madame into approving their marriage so that he could deepen the relationship and also resolve the disputes between the two families. Since they never passed an official statement concerning the annulment, he decided to grab this has an opportunity but just when tried to approach her in a different method, a cold voice resonated inside the room halting his endeavor. The words he intended to announce were now stuck in his throat. Although he was the eldest in the family after Madame, Felix held the most authority in the household while he was ranked low in the family which was quite disadvantageous.

Turning around his eyes coincidentally met the other pair of deep-blue eyes. The eyes in the front looked deep, quite similar to a black hole as it could suck one's soul and make them immerse deeper within.

However, Mason sensed something unusual in his gaze. The more he looked his senses heightened, a glint flashed past his nephew's eyes which was too quick for him to notice.

Blinking his eyes, Mason peered at him again to confirm his suspicion but alas he couldn't find anything. Sighing inwardly, he dispelled every single thought that had crossed his mind before calming himself down.

"Butler Yue? It seems that you're really getting on your age...How many times have I told you not to allow people of such low caliber to appear in front of my face? " He spoke harshly before eyeing the lady and continued " And you! This mansion is not a playground for you to enter whenever you like... Please turn around and leave before I ask the guards to drag you out." Then without waiting for anyone to respond, he moved upstairs before disappearing into a corner.

Sara stood rooted to the ground looking in the direction he just disappeared in. Her face turned pale while her lips trembled. She felt an acute sense of pain and suffocation in her c.h.e.s.t. Her mind drifted to the past when she still loved him but was overpowered by her greed which led her to commit a grave mistake.

"Miss, please leave the property." Butler Yue scurried and tapped on Sara's shoulder to wake her up from her stupor.

"No, Brother Felix can't do this to me..." She cried out in shock and tried to move forward in the direction of his room.

Watching her hurry upstairs, the butler rushed forward and grabbed her arm tightly while gesturing the guards to provide some help.

"Leave me alone...Brother Felix still loves me... He's just confused." She struggled furiously but it was all for nothing. The guards tightened their grip around her before dragging her out of the private property. She screamed and struggled throughout the way.

People inside the mansion could still hear the heart-rending screams but none of them cared nor did they step in to help the pitiful lady in fear of triggering their future master or perhaps because they were still in shock after witnessing the scene from earlier.

Snapping out, Amelia Yazi peered in the same direction as others and exclaimed, "What did I just see?"

"Mother? Was that really Felix?" Just like everyone, Mason had his mouth wide open in surprise.

As an elder and his grandma, she naturally knew his personality. In the past, even after the incident he always remained calm and never exploded or vented his anger on anyone. He was someone who would choose to suppress his pain rather than expressing it out and was a man of few words as he believed in actions rather than words. Everyone in the city knew that he was a weird man who rarely spoke and would usually spend his time in his company bagging all the money instead of clubbing around like every typical second-generation heir.

'Why do I feel like something's changing? I need to call Aaron...That smelly brat! How could he leave me alone like this and runoff for a vacation with those sick looking women? Argh! Come home and I'll show you.' She thought.

Just when she was busy pondering over some matters inside her cunning brain, Felix walked down. His eyes were trained on his grandma from the beginning. Looking at her puzzled expression, he frowned "What are you so puzzled about?"

Her train of thoughts came to a halt as she heard a familiar voice. Glancing around she found a familiar figure walking down with a puzzled gaze. Her eyes followed him from head to toe before asking, "Are you going out?"

"Yes." He sounded calm and behaved as if the things earlier never happened.

"Ah? but didn't you just arrive? Why are you leaving so soon?" She walked behind him as she pestered him to answer her questions.

"*Sigh* Grandma, I have a client waiting for me...please don't delay my work and walk back into the mansion." Even though his expression looked cold, his voice was as gentle as the breeze.

Rolling her eyes at him she said, "Alright! be back early." Then she turned around and left with the maid following behind.

Watching his Granny walk away, he sighed before opening the door of the car but just as he intended to step in, his arm was held by a tiny hand.

When he caught the sight of the person holding his arm firmly, the coldness around him increased.

"Brot-Brother Felix? I-I was wrong-wrong... plea-please forgive me" Sara cried hard as she shuttered heavily. She looked extremely pitiful. Her eyes were swollen while her hair was disheveled and her clothes looked wrinkled and dirty.

He stood there as he watched her pleading him to forgive her. Raising his hand, he put it on top of her hand before prying her fingers off his arm.

"Brother Felix? I know you still love me..." Right now, she looked like a madwoman with her extremely awful appearance and her mannerism which was unlike her usual princess-self. She tried to hold him back by grabbing on his sleeve but was pushed away.

Distancing himself from her, he spoke "Miss. Sara...stop living in delusion. Both of us know the truth so stop misleading people with your words. It'll only force me to take extreme measures." Then he stepped into the car and drove off leaving behind dust and dirty.

Sara woke up from the trance and chased after his car but just after taking a few steps, she tripped onto something before falling onto the ground.

Staring in the direction the car left, 'No matter what...you can only be mine.' as she thought a sinister glint flashed past her eyes

Meanwhile on the other side of the city,

"Mr. Curtis, Ma-madam-" The butler panted heavily, her mind was in a mess because of a certain someone who was currently on a run to god knows where.

Hearing the word 'Madam' his body tensed up. Glaring at her, he asked, "What happened?"

"Sh-she's missing-g-g" Before she could finish, Curtis shot up to his feet and ran towards her room.

Dashing into her room, he examined every corner of it before walking into the bathroom. After searching every side of her room, he ran out.

For a long time, he dashed around the house and then to the lawn in search of that person but she was nowhere to be found.

Frustrated, he dialed a number "Assemble all the guards to the meeting room and I want to see the footage. Now!" then hung up and rushed towards the hall.

Just after his silhouette disappeared into a corner, a figure slid down from the long bathroom pipe. Her feet touched the ground, surveying her surrounding she quickly bent down and picked a few stones and threw it towards the cameras attached in various places.

Examining around, after she made sure that all the cameras were out, she leisurely strode towards the wall before climbing and then jumping the other side effortlessly.

"I should ask him to increase the security on this side of the villa after I find another escape route. If other people found out about this path wouldn't that be dangerous? Tsk." She mumbled as she disappeared into the shadows.
