Striding out elegantly followed by the three women dressed to the nines with their faces flushed red, she arrived at the retail space and glanced around only to see that the chair in the reception was empty.

Initially, Aadhya only wanted to know regarding the whereabouts of the stylist, but who would've thought that this would contribute to a misunderstanding and her initial intentions to be mistaken as a pretense of arrogance.

As soon as they got to the center of the area, numerous stares fell upon them. Under the scrutinizing gaze that was akin to a surveillance camera, a sense of discomfort spread inside her core.

Sensing the gazes around, Chloe secretly felt gleeful and took it as an opportunity to bring the lateral down in the dumps. Storming forward she forcefully tucked the sleeves of her dress resulting in her to frown in annoyance.

Watching her use force on the latter, Amy instantly flew across the room and cried out, " Hey, hey??? Leave her alone...or I promise to make you suffer for your stupidity."

Listening to the anger-filled voice, Aadhya chuckled inwardly before consoling the sweet soul, "It's alright. She hasn't done anything yet. Calm down."

"I'm trying but it's too infuriating," Amy replied before inhaling sharply.

Disregarding the childish attitude, she receded to herself and yanked her arm back from her grip.

The force utilized to withdraw her arm caused her to thrust backward a few steps almost resulting in her to fall which enraged her to the core.

"Miss, Is that how you act once you hook onto someone rich? I've never seen a paramour live so happily after being called one." Her vicious words rang across the silent room. The word 'mistress' was usually a taboo to many married women in a wealthy family. Initially, when Aadhya appeared inside the room, their eyes glimmered at her beauty as various thoughts broke out inside their minds but who would've guessed that the brilliant looking woman to be nothing but a mistress in disguise. After giving attention to the words uttered by the young lady, their hearts sank as their expression turned grim.

Waves of murmurs and whispers sounded in the room. The public inside studied her in contempt and resentment.

"Did she just call her mistress? She's so beautiful, How could she sell herself for materialistic d.e.s.i.r.es?"

"Look at her... How shameless is she? How could a person be so heartless enough to wreak a happy family?"

"Look at the way she's dressed... Who is she trying to seduce?"

"How come women like her exist in this world? Truly outrageous."

"That's exactly why I don't approve of women from small families to meander around my sons... Who knows what they're aiming for?"

Eavesdropping the nasty and harsh whispers around, Natasha secretly felt gleeful. She stepped forward as she decided to add some salt to the wound and spoke in a meek voice, " Chloe, How could you say something like that? How could you say such facts out in public? That's her private matter." Then veering around, she faced her and bowed her head, "Miss, I sincerely apologize from her behalf. Please don't blame her for being insensible. She shouldn't have-" She paused midway and bit her lips gently which made her seem quite pitiful. Her voice was meek and gentle just like a lady from wealth and a well-cultured household but the act did certainly develop a misconception among the elderlies in the room.

However, her gentleness and demure behavior were received by every woman in the crowd, as she scored another point in their hearts.

They eyed the delicate-looking lady as they wondered about her roots so that they could form a marriage alliance with the other party by concocting an accidental encounter between their sons and lady.

Aadhya calmly scrutinized the crowd before her eyes landed on the lady ahead of her with head bowed. She calmly replied, " I assume that you three hail from a wealthy family...right?" Although her voice was calm none of them could overlook the supremacy in her tone which unconsciously made them heed to it.

The strong aura of dominance seeped out from her body making them shudder and dubious at the same time. The strong air she emitted seemed to be ingrained within her as it sort of elucidated her origin to be remarkable.

Without even realizing her actions, Natasha spoke out in a low voice as she raised her head, "Yes." After she responded, people around her gaped and examined her closely as they tried to recollect meeting the woman in any of those business parties in the past.

Just when everyone was occupied in their thoughts, a loud voice rippled in the room, "Isn't she the daughter of the Long's?"

Everyone turned their gazes towards the lady who seemed embarrassed under their intense stares. Seeing her bashful self, the matriarch's of a few families looked pleased and whispered,

" The lady looks cultured and pretty. I never knew that the Long's would give birth to such a beautiful lady."

"My son will surely like their daughter. She has looks and appears quite demure, unlike those calculative ones she's quite pleasant to eyes."

"The lady is quite reserved and modest. The Long's are quite wealthy as well...its a win-win situation ."

Although the lady looked pleasant, her looks weren't that top-notch as they professed it to be furthermore her features didn't seem to be very noteworthy. Nonetheless, her background was something that every person in the room was eyeing on.

Everyone knew that the Longs were deemed has a family of officials. Every member of the family held a substantial position in the government. They had a good reputation within the circle since the members were known to be generous in their actions.

Who wouldn't like to associate themselves with such a family who held enormously influence in the government? This marriage alliance could get them a generous amount of benefits and also help them increase their influence.

Just like them, Aadhya initially had a similar idea. During her time with Amy inside the space, she had to skim clearly regarding the prominence albeit comprehend the deeper secrets of every family in the city that even they were unaware of so that she could use them as her leverage and compel them to collude with her. However, now after glancing their stupid kin acting dumbly, she decided to revisit her initial plan.

Aadhya was originally an extremely vengeful person. She was known for her cunning and ruthless habits to deal with the problem. This precise personality of hers induced fear and respect from people in the netherworld towards her.

Weighing the pros and cons in their minds, they concluded and decided to curry favors with the lady.

Standing up from her seat, a woman exclaimed in annoyance, "Is this how unprofessional the staff is? how can they allow someone so ill-mannered to step into this place?"
