My Sunshine: Glad To Find You

She shot daggers to him through eyes. If looks could kill, Jess would have killed him a horrible death. He finally released her mouth and brought her into a hug.

"Jess I cannot live without you. Please do not be like this. I love you. It was all a mistake, a misunderstanding. It was all her fault. Let's just go back to how we were back there. If you do not want to leave here, It is not an issue either, I will move in here for you"

Seeing that Jess was not saying anything, he pulled away from the hug and lowered his face to kiss him. Jess turned her face away.

"Is this how you are sorry? By forcing yourself on me?" Jess took a deep breath to calm down her raging heart from lash out, "Misunderstandings can be solved, but those were not just simple misunderstandings. I do not want to see you ever again and I had already made myself very clear about it"

Jess tried to move away from him and turned to unlock the door. She did act very strong in front of him but only she knew how scared she was inside. She was afraid that she could not hold up her strong front any longer so she wanted to leave the place, to leave the presence of this man as soon as possible.

He grabbed her arms and around so that she was facing him, he pushed her against the door once again and this time he forcefully kissed her. She was shocked beyond belief. He was no longer the man she knew before. To her, it seemed as if she had never known him properly, before he had never forced himself upon her, but it was as if he was punishing her for not listening to her.

She had an instant urge to puke. She felt disgusted.

She felt him kissing her very aggressively. He bit her lips. She cried out in pain. When they were out of breath, he finally loosened her grip on her. Seeing it as an opportunity, she pushed with him with all her might and rushed out of the room. She ran out of the club and sat in her car.

After she sat in her car, she finally felt hot tears streaming down her face. She texted Rose that she was not feeling well so she had to raincheck tonight and was very sorry. Rose immediately called her but Jess knew that if she picked up the call now, Rose would understand something was wrong. She declined the call and texted her that she was driving and she could not pick calls. She assured her that she was fine. As she thought about her encounter with that horrible man, the way his disgusting hands wandered all around her body, she could not hold it any longer and started crying again.

She took a long bath. She kept washing her body until it turned red. She wanted to forget his touch.

She changed into pajamas and lied on the bed to sleep, but she could not. The scene from a few months back played in her mind.

A few months back,

After meeting the blonde-haired man at the beach years back, she meets him once again at the conference and they became fast friends. The man was in love with her and she liked him too. They had started going out and try out their relationship. The man was extremely patient and cared for her. He loved her. This is what she thought but it was not the truth.

Jess was a little reserved regarding s.e.x.u.a.l relationsh.i.p.s and wanted to advance her relationship with him after marrying him. That very day she was very excited, she had decided to propose to him to marry him. As soon as she entered the apartment, she saw that he was on the balcony, talking to someone on the phone. She was happy that he had not heard her entering the room. She slowly walked towards him and was about to startle him but before she could do anything she was shocked to hear the words he spoke next.

"Yes, babe do not worry. I only love you, how can I be with someone other than you. She is just a pawn, replaceable. She is just dumb and too shy to do anything with me"

"Yes, I was with her to gain the policies of her company, she works at a high post"

"Hmm let us meet after some time, she will be back home in a while"

"I will be promoted soon. Let's celebrate tonight. I can not wait to be with you"

Jess was in disbelief. She did not realize that he had already ended the call and was stunned to find her behind her.

"Whoa Jesus, Jess you scared me. When did you get back?"

He tried his best to act calm. He just prayed that Jess had not heard his conversation.

"Were you doing something suspicious behind my back? Why are you with me?"

What he did not want had happened. He was sure now that the matter had already gone out of his control. After what seemed like an eternity, Jess left his apartment and went back to her old apartment. She was heartbroken on that day. She was so stupid that she was going to even propose him to marry her, she wanted to spend her life with him, but she never thought that he was just toying around with her.

She was lying on her bed, hugging her pillow tightly and streams of tears flowed down from her now red-swollen eyes. This was her fate maybe. She was never meant to be with him. She could never love anyone. She could not take another heartbreak, so after this incident, she never involved herself in any other romantic relationship. She thought that she was very alone in this whole wide beautiful world.

The words of her mentor rang in her ears then, "Jess you should let yourself loose, try out new things, maybe you will come across the best thing in your life."

Jess closed her eyes and then thought about it for a while. She should let herself to fate, only then she could pull herself out of her sad past. She texted her father, "Dad, I agree with your arrangements. I will meet him and do as you wish. Let me know time and place. Thanks, dad. Goodnight"

With that said, she turned to look at the beautiful starry night. She had now left everything to fate. All she now hoped was to nothing to go wrong.
