My Sunshine: Glad To Find You

John had long prepared for this and finally, he got the perfect time for this. They had long been engaged but other than that they had rarely been on dates. They were busy with work and as they worked together, the rest of the time was spent working together during leisure. They loved working together but John realized that other than work, they rarely go out or spent time together like the couples in movies or romance books.

"Then, it is final. I need to plan something out." He thought out loud.

He planned everything in whatever little time he got between the meetings.

Jess was startled when a sudden spotlight fell on her.

"John, where are you?" She called him with excitement and curiosity in her voice.

She slowly moved forward, looking around and calling out his name.

'Where did you go?. How come I didn't notice when you slipped away?'

"Welcome my dear."

Suddenly dim lights in the center of the living room lightened up and she saw that there a round table at the center of the room. It was lighted up with candles and fairy lights.

Jess put her hands on her mouth in pure shock. The place looked magical. There was a rose petal pathway from where Jess was standing to the table. The edges were lighted up with artificial candles. Artificial candles could avoid ruining there special time.

John slowly came behind her and hugged Jess from the back.

"Do you like it?", he whispered softly into her ears.

"No, I don't like it." She turned to look at him. She cupped his face with both her hands and continued, "I love it. I love it very much."

Her hot lips landed on his cold ones in a searing hot kiss. The arms around her waist tightened and he pulled her towards himself a little more.

"Let us enjoy our special evening or do you wanna take it somewhere..."

Jess's heart was already pounding and after hearing this, her face further reddened.

"Stop teasing me like this." She could only playfully hit on his c.h.e.s.t.

They were holding hands, their fingers intertwined and walked towards the table. They both took their places.

On the table, there was a widespread meal consisting of Spaghetti Carbonara, Thai Red Curry Shrimp, and Steak Frites. There were several side dishes to compliment the main dish. Jess and John ate with gusto.

"Umm... This tastes so good."

"Thank you. Seeing you eat like this, my hours of effort really paid off."

"Wow. Did you really make these?" She pointed at all the dishes.

"Ah that... Not all of them, just this and this one here." He pointed at a few dishes.

Jess started laughing and they ate dinner happily.

John was feeling happy inside, seeing her so happy gave him a different feeling. He planned a lot for this special evening.

For the dessert, he had ordered Truffle Chocolate Cream Pie from a very famous pastry shop.

When Jess thought that it was all over for the night, suddenly a remote controlled serving trolly came towards the table.

"This?" Jess turned around to look at John. He came in front of her. The trolly had a huge bouquet of red roses kept on it.

He picked it up and gave it to her.

Jess accepted the bouquet. She lowered her head and sniffed the fragrance.

John placed a rose behind her ear on one side.

"Do you like it?"

"Um-hmm" She could not say a word. While she was looking around the bouquet, she saw something was shining in the biggest rose at the center.

She looked at him and saw that his lips were slightly curled. He raised his brows to urge her to look into it. She found a locket in it. She kept the bouquet aside. The pendant was in shape of a Crescent Moon encrusted with small diamonds and a little star-shaped diamond was attracted to hang from the upper tip of the moon.

"Wow. It is so pretty."

"Not as pretty as you are." He winked and inched closer. He took the pendant from her hand and turned her around. She put all the hair on one side to allow him to put it on her.

After locking it up on the place, he gently kissed her on the nape. His breath and kisses sending electric current throughout her body. His one hand was over her stomach and pulled her closer whereas the other hand roamed all over her b.a.r.e back.

His kisses went from the nape to the place below her ear. Jess closed her eyes and tilted her head to the other side, giving him more access. She tightened her hold on Johns's arms. She did not know what came to her, but at this moment she just wanted to be with the man beside her. She turned around and placed her arms around his neck and kissed him. The kiss was first gentle then turned into a needy one, as if they could not live without it. He gently pulled her up and she wrapped her legs around his waist.
