My Ultimate Ambition

"Teacher! You mean l can't go out of the compound? But it's not like am being confined in a prison"she pouted childishly.

Yoona threw tantrums at her teacher for not allowing her visit her friends living in the capital.

Teacher Lee said she's to master all the spices so as to go out. Yoona believed it will take a decade because of the varieties of spices so she almost went crazy with boredom.

"Little Yoona, l promise to let you attend the oncoming festival if you learn one-fourth of the lesson.

With eyes so dilated it seemed it will pop out of it's socket, Yoona exclaimed excitedly.

"Really? can I really go for the festival? Oh my goodness! I can't believe this, in fact Yoona promises to master all her lessons and not disappoint teacher from now onwards", she danced joyously.

"But don't forget young lady, I will be going with you" Teacher Lee added endearingly.

" Definitely! I don't mind at all", she agreed happily.

Yoona with more vigour to succeed mastered half of her lessons within two weeks before the festival. Her speed of learning shocked her and Teacher Lee was not exempted from the shock.

On the eve of the festival, Yoona selected colorful dresses as she wanted to look nice. As she selected accessories, she became conflicted. Then, she concluded to dive into fashion world once her cooking lessons are over.

She vowed to emulate her teacher on everything but not on fashion case as the woman's fashion sense was awful .She wondered what will be the use of cooking well if she can't dress well.

On the side of Teacher Lee, she was busy with compiling tons of lessons Yoona will take after the festival is over.

As the festival would last two days, two days lessons would be gone, so she decided to make Yoona cover up the lapses.

After her compilation was done, she took a stroll while humming towards Yoona's courtyard.

"Yoona! are you sleeping?", she asked so as to ascertain her availability.

Yoona became startled with the sudden emergence of her teacher and sputtered an answer. Due to a mess she created while some clothes, the room was a total mess.

She had chose to remain silent but gave herself away due to fright and panic as keeping her waiting so as to tidy up would make her impatience.

In resignation to fate, she invited her in.

Contrary to her expectation, Teacher Lee was amazed with the piece of clothing her student held in her hands

"Yoona, did you make this dress?",she asked as there is a pair of scissors and needle in her hands.

"Yes teacher, l couldn't find a decent cloth to wear so I decided to make one for myself", she replied cautiously.

Teacher Lee couldn't believe that an eleven years old could make something so wonderful but it's possible if she met a good teacher

"Who taught you how to design clothes or rather which great teacher has been lecturing you on fashion designing?"

Yoona chuckled.

"No one has taught me , this is my first time making clothes"

Teacher Lee"..."

She thought to herself, (Am I meeting a one of a kind genius?).In order to satisfy her curiosity she asked her what inspired her to make the design, Yoona replied one word.

"Butterfly"

Yoona further explained that while she was thinking of what to wear, a butterfly flew to her window and she wondered what the feeling would be if she was a butterfly and that gave birth to the clothes she's seeing.

After examining the clothes one more time, Teacher Lee commended her work and left her alone to complete her work.

Yoona almost jumping with excitement ,bade her teacher goodbye but promised to work harder to meet all her demands.

Night came but due to excitement, she couldn't sleep so she decided to stay outside and admire the stars.

For an unknown reason, that night, the stars sparkled more brilliantly and a particular star caught her attention, she wished that she was as bright as that star.

The star blinked as if it heard her thoughts. She smiled, then retired for the night.
