My Ultimate Ambition

They say there is no such thing as fated meeting or is it the other way round?

Every parent who loves their children dearly will never let anything happen to them. A mother hen never let a hawk take its chick away from her.

What am I even saying?

Yoona's decision to be a royal princess was disposed by her mother before she even let out her main reason. She cried her eyes out and promised to support her in anything else , except that.

Even her father who always supported her in every decision and action she takes stood against it vehemently and swore to abandon her if she goes through with her decision.

Frustrated with the strong opposition, Yoona left the house to seek solace anywhere away from her family.

On the top of a ridge, legs dangling and her mouth crunching sat Yoona who sadly bem.o.a.n.e.d her fate. Her bodyguard stood behind carefully observing her and their surrounding.

From time to time, he hands over the wrap of snacks and nuts to her.

"Jae joon, do you think I'm too brazen?"

Silence. Probably he is thinking of the right thing to say.

She continued.

"Sometimes I doubt if I made the right decision... I mean, a man I barely know wants me dead for a ludicrous reason... and here I want to challenge him without even knowing if I will be selected".

Jae joon sat down besides her and smiled.

"Miss, you shouldn't be worried about being selected because his royal highness will not resist your charms..." ( Because he is the one that betrayed you in the past).

The confidence, the tenacity and assertion of his speech made Yoona to narrow her eyes at him. Wondering what gave him the confidence to make such a statement, she asked.

"Why do you say so?"

Because my gut said he likes you. And that he was also a victim.

"Miss , no reason at all".

He paused for a second before asking a question that has been bothering him.

"Miss, did it ever occur to that he might have been set up like you?"

Yoona's eyes twitched and an inexplicable pain gnaw at her heart.

"Why would the bastard set up his brat?". She sourly asked.

Because he is not really his brat.

"Miss, there are some mysteries to things our eyes do not see but I hope you don't hate the young master too much".

Yoona suspiciously looked at him and asked why he's suddenly defending him.

"No reason at all but maybe... he's not our real enemy."

She went into a deep thought, reliving everything that has happened to her in the past. Everything Jae joon said made sense ,at the same time it doesn't.

Sense of doubt and insecurity crept into her mind and tormented her. With one last look at the scenery she is observing for the first time, she asked.

"Do you know where his manor is?"

Jae joon cringed in fear at her sudden question. Being silent for a while and suddenly asking a random question is not her style. With apprehension written all over his face he asked.

"Why are you asking?"

"I want to see the viper's lair".

The manor door looked eye-catching being painted in bright red. The walls had a touch of yellow and white design emitting a soft glow of sunshine.

The architectural structures looked exquisite giving the feeling of heaven's path ,just that a devil lived within.

Right before the walls are floral decorations filled with beautiful and bright flowers. The smell of jasmine and lavender complemented each other creating a feeling of euphoria.

The soft flow of breeze wafted the fragrance to Yoona who looked like she is in a daze.

"Whoa! Jae joon pinch me, I feel like I am dead and is at the heaven's gate".

Jae joon who looked unaffected looked at his miss's drooling face and gave a soft chuckle. She seems to have forgotten the reason she's here.

Yoona grabbed his hands and placed it on her c.h.e.s.t scaring the living hell out of Jae joon who didn't expect her actions.

"What are you doing?". He made to drag back his hands but she held it tightly to her c.h.e.s.t .

"Feel my racing heartbeat, I am in cloud nine right now"

Jae joon who felt her heartbeat got confused until he saw her face.

Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha

"I got you bodyguard! Do you think that I, Kim Yoona will fantasize about my enemy's hellhole? Do you think my heart will race in excitement over things that belongs to him? When I look at this place the only I want to do is destroy everything that has his breath, touch and sight ."

You got to be kidding me. Heaven's gate? The only thing I see is hell's pathway.

And what are those skeletons looking demons doing? Guarding the hellhole? (She's talking about the guards flagging every inch of the entrance). Hump! losers. She spat on the ground.

"Go around the building and find a loophole, a dog hole... in fact any hole". I believe his house must have a weakness. Jae joon bowed and left.

Just then, at the gate, she saw him materialize and clenched her fist. Hatred, sadness and vengeance clouded her sense of reasoning and made her to walk towards him.

Accelerating her pace to confront him, she crashed into someone who appeared out of nowhere.

"Don't go near him... it's not a wise decision"

Yoona looked at the face of a young girly boy shielding her away from the sight of the prime minister. The person held her in a tight embrace while pushing her face away from the prime minister's direction.

The prime minister looked over and saw a boy and a girl embracing.

Hump! children of nowadays lack simple decorum and etiquette he thought before marching to his sedan chair, obviously disgusted.

Yoona saw him walking away and struggled in the arms of the girl-looking boy. How can he be so strong especially as he looks fragile facially.

"Let go of me this instant!". She angrily bellowed, finally giving up as the man has gone.

The firm and suffocating grip released leaving her panting.

"Wow girl, you are so strong!" The person said.

Who are you? Why did you stop me? Are you in acquittance with him?

Yoona scrutinized the stranger , many questions running through her mind.

Finally she asked.

"Who are you?"

The person relaxes and smiles, appreciating her beauty.
